View of Call Waiting Option

Is there any OS which helps to view call waiting option when someone in engaged in a call? I'm on 4.2 which doesn't spport this feature.

If your carrier supports call waiting, you can turn it on by going to Settings > Phone > Call Waiting. If the setting is not available, contact your carrier. See this article for reference -

I've gone through your message completely, if you do not have the Call Waiting option under Settings > iPhone it means your carrier does not let you access that feature on the phone. Contact them and see if they have dialing codes to turn it off and back on.

TA38607 My iphone4s does not have the call waiting option in settings. What's going on.

My call waiting feature was working then suddenly disappeared. In settings>phone there is not listing to set the call waiting feature. This is an iPhone 4s on Sprint network. Anyone know what is going on here?

Give Sprint a call and see what they say, it is a carrier feature.

Well there is on my iPhone and all since the 3.. But your carrier might not have that available..

Call waiting notifications on Nokia 5800!!!!

I have a small problem.
When I call somebody from my nokia 5800 and that person is talking to smb., so my call is on waiting, i don't hear anything and i don't even see it on my screen. So i don't know if that person is not answering or is on a call.
The same happens when samb calls me and i'm on a call. I receive on the screen a waiting call, but only if i look at it. I don't hear no beeps or any sound that could announce me that i am receiving a call while i'm in a disscusion.
The call waiting option is activated.
How do I solve the problem with the sound notification?
Please help!

Is there any application that enables you to be notified when the one you are calling is already engaged in a call and your call is waiting.
To make myself well understood, I am looking for a solution to stop calling someone who already is in a call and cannot answer because of this, but did activate his <call waiting> option not to appear as busy.

I am also interested in this. My old Nokia phone was notifying anyone who tried to call me that I am currently already in a call by using a small beep on the other persons handset before it started ringing.
Really helpful for people to see that you area already engaged in a call.
Does OS 6 have this function ?

Call Waiting???...and ringtones...and volume...

Why does my Call Waiting Feature fail to turn on? I get an error message every time I try to switch it on.
Also, ringtones will be made accessible through iTunes. There will be an option that will charge you .99 for every 30 sec. ringtone that you create with purchased music. I think they got delayed with this feature that was suppose to be in the newest release because of licensing issues. Hopefully we'll see it in the next itunes update.
Also, volume issues can easily be fixed through firmware updates. Everyone that has so many complaints about the iphone, chill the f out, wait for the first update. I'm sure it will solve many of your issues. I mean come'on...its Apple! Their updates rock.

when i call people and they are alreay on another call, my screen doesn't show "waiting", is there a way i can get this feature on my X6? i have the call waiting option activated for me so what when i am on a call i can recive another one.

how you can check this out is
ring your friend ok ask him to dial his mailbox or another number
now you ring him
now look at your phone before you put it to you ear you will see waitng.

Call Waiting issues HELP!!!!

Whenever I have an incoming call and I try to switch to it, it disconnects the first call I was on. My phone seems to be missing the call waiting option. it is not located under the Options measure....HELP!!!!!

I checked with them. They said I do have it. Now they think I should bring in the phone to a store to see if the phone itself is the one with issues. Oh well. I hope they can sort it out because it is so annoying not being able to use the feature.

I have lost the swap button for call waiting how do I get that back? In the general settings I do not have a call waiting option.

Call AT&T and have them enable the feature. This is a network problem most likely.

Call waiting not working in Nokia 3120 classic

In my Nokia 3120 classic mobile, the call waiting option is not working. If a new call comes while you're on a call, it shows the new call. But if I try to answer it, it shows some error.

Call waiting is actually a network service. Your phone only facilitates this service by transmitting a command to the network when you change certain settings.
You should start debugging this problem by contacting your network to make sure there isn't a problem with the service.
