View Part 1 / Part 2  in J1IS & J1IH

Hi
I posted  excise  transaction   in  J1IS  / J1IH.  In  display mode , on  view  part 1 /par 2 TAB,  the register  is  blank , ie  the  BED, ECS & SECess  is  0.
Please  let me know if any config is to be done for  this display.
NB -  The  data is  visible in  the  Register area ie J2I9.
Thanks
kamala

Hi
In J1IS, you create Excise invoice which will get updated only the Payable account. Only in the month end or Fortnightly, the Excise registers will get updated through T.code J2IUN. I think thats the reason why you were not able to see the amount in the Part2.

    Anyone encountered anything similar?

    How is your  selection filter set up?... make sure that you have 'enable selecting parts' checked. In that way you can select the component. Otherwise you can go to Edit >> Selection Filter >> Enable selecting parts.
    If that is not the problem, then please attach your project file here so we can check it out.

  • Cant View Part of My Banks Bill Payer Section

    This began about a month ago. I was on my banks website and went to the Bill Payer tab. The page has 2 sections. The first, which is on the left side, lists each of my credit cards and any editing I may want to do to delete etc. That list is fine and displays properly.
    The Pending Payment list is on the right side of the page in a box. This list enables me to go in and change the monthly payment amount and due date. That list is only partially viewable. The entire list has shifted to the right and it is impossible to see/change amounts etc, Below that list is a list called "Past Payment" which is fine.
    I called my banks tech support. No changes have been made that would throw only part of the display off. They tried the usual...they asked if I was able to grab part of the box and pull it back to the left etc. No luck. They asked what browser Ii was on and I said Firefox. They suggested I try IE (which I still haev installed). I did and the display was perfect. They believe the problem lies in Firefox and they just couldnt figure out what it might be. Can anyone help?

    This is hard to solve without seeing the page, but here are some general comments.
    '''Firefox 23 Mixed Content Block'''
    Assuming this site worked in Firefox 22, check for a "shield" icon to the left of the URL in the address bar. If you see one, this article describes what it means and your options: [[How does content that isn't secure affect my safety?]]
    '''Obsolete Cached Files or Cookies'''
    When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
    Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
    Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
    orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
    If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, use either:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    In the dialog that opens you can remove the site's cookies individually.
    Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?

  • UB 12.0.1 Bug? 3D View: Part Height Indicator Issue

    The part height indicator shows the distance from the surface of the PCB to the top of the component, right?
    If I turn on internal layers button, the PCB becomes thicker so as to represent the internal layers.  This causes the surface of the PCB to rise, and correspondingly, all of the components on the surface of the PCB rise too.  This is fine.  However, when the surface and components rise, the part height indicators do not.  They appear to stab into the component whose part height they represent.

  • Displaying WebI report parts via openDocument in BI 4.1 SP 3 Update

    1) We are using SAP BO 4.1 SP3 Update version.
    2) We have a requirement to display PARTS of webi report which has prompts as well.
    3) We referred the Opendocument PDF and used the below functionality to get what we need:
    sRefresh=Y&mode=part&sReportPart=UIREF:RID=1:BID=1
    The problem with this is we have a Prompt X which has a value say  A B C.
    So our final URL would be:
    http://[servername]:[port]/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=[CUID of WebI doc]&lsSX=A B C&mode=part&sReportPart=[Reference to the report part to be shown].
    4) Our problem is that if we pass parameters in Prompt X which has a SPACE (Like we have in A B C) the functionality goes for a toss. Also if we pass Dates like 01/01/2012-12/31/2012, the function doesnt work.
    5) This is the problem with VIEWING PARTS OF WEBI report only. Works fine if we wanna view full report.
    6) Is it a known issue ?

    Hi Ankit,
    For special characters like space, colon you have to use ASCII characters in URL. For e.g. if you want to write prompt as
    Enter Year:
    then it should be like :
    Enter%20Year%3A

  • Aspect Ratio Part II

    Hello,
    I was happy that for the most part my previos post was answered. However I feared that this method could produce some trouble for me and I am now in need of some help.
    Without doing this 33.33 thing, I wasn't able to get it to work.
    It may be a band aid fix for now; Cause I'm buggered if I could find any documentation on such a method . . . and I could possibly have problems if I had to distort clips that were already distorted.
    No worries either - glad you got it to work. The 33.33 distort isn't a band aid, it's actually the way FCP is designed to deal with different aspects.
    I now have a problem with a few clips within my sequence.
    I have been using the motion tab to pan over an image and zoom in on particular sections. (the image has a higher resolution than all the other images to allow for this effect)
    The method of obtaining a 16:9 ratio explained within my last post (click here to view Part I) has left me with a distorted preview that is difficult to accurately achieve what I was able to without distortion.
    The timeing of all my keyframes has been effected and is hard to adjust due to the squished preview.
    Judging by eye, where to zoom and how it will affect the final output cannot be revealed until I've compressed the file and imported in DVDSP. Which I can then get a true preview within the simulator.
    This is not a very practical method of previewing my Clip within my sequence in FCP. Considering the time it takes to render then compresess.
    Any help on this would be again very much appreciated.

    Actually, the method described should have left you with an UNDISTORTED preview. Perhaps it wasn't the fix you needed at all. There is no way you should have to go as far as the DVDSP simulator windown to see an undistorted image.
    What you describe - viewing squished footage in FCP - means you have not set up FCP properly for the material with which you're working.
    Maybe best if you start again at the beginning, as there are no doubt some important details missing here. My understanding is you are trying to make anamorphic 16:9 DVDs incorporating still images and video footage (which may or may not be 16:9).
    The way to do this properly is to start out with an anamorphic FCP project and format your material correctly within that project, working with anamorphic sequences that will translate seamlessly to a 16:9 DVDSP project.
    It sounds, though, that some of your FCP sequences are still, in fact, 4:3.

  • Difference in between J1IH and J1IS

    Dear Gurus,
            I know that J1IH is used JV posting for excise invoices.
    And for J1IS we create the excise invoice and release account posting in J1IV.
    I want to know what is the basic difference in between J1IH and J1IS, though in both cases we capture and post the excises. Please suggest with some couples of examples.
    Regards,
    Shyam

    Hi,
    J1IH is used to post the Excise JV.
    Use: - You use these functions if you need to make an adjustment posting to any of your CENVAT accounts. You can make adjustment postings to account for:
    - Scrap
    - Materials that you have not used in production
    - Additional excise paid by vendors
    - Money that you have transferred to your personal ledger account
    - Other transactions
    - You can also use this function to cancel excise invoices -out going excise invoices.
    J1IS is used to create the excise invoice for other movements like Subcontracting & Stock transfer order.
    Can i use J1IH for canceling vendor excise invoice, the one I captured in J1IEX
    You can refer below link more detail,

  • Create custom dictionary viewer

    Hello there!
    I've got a digital version of a very old but very good German-Latin dictionary (maybe German users know Digitale Bibliothek), however the GUI which I have to wrap in wine is absolutely not KISS and it doesn't fit into my workflow in a tiling wm. I just discovered that I can export the whole dictionary into different formats notably XHTML, which should make it possible to create a more user friendly interface.
    The situation is as follows:
    A file which contains all the German and latin lemmata alphabetically sorted (Latin and German mixed); sample:

    abholen#C60769

    Note how the id of the anchor tags correspond to the lemmata (the uppercase letter after the # may be ignored, it indicates the language or section of the lemma in the original binary file).
    In a quick-n-dirty approach I hacked a bash script (I am a bloody beginner) making use of dmenu and lynx:
    #!/bin/bash
    # display dmenu with all the lemmata, strip the id's (lemmatas in the file "data/lemmata")
    lemma="$(cat data/lemmata | sed -e 's/#[A-Z][0-9]*$//g' | dmenu)"
    # search for the selected lemmata to get the whole string with the id
    str="$(grep "^${lemma}[ .0-9()]*#[A-Z][0-9]*$" "data/lemmata")"
    id="${str#*\#[A-Z]}"
    # finally take the definition from the xml and pipe output to lynx
    awk "/<a id=\"p0*${id}\" \/>/,/<div class=\"db5PageBreak\">/{if (!/<div class=\"db5PageBreak\">/)print}" < data/dictionary.xml | lynx -stdin
    The script fires up dmenu which displays all the lemmata with all the identifiers (#<number>) stripped, then it searches the selected lemma in the lemmata file again to find the identifier and finally then the corresponding paragraph(s) is (are) taken and piped to lynx. (Using the tee program I could bind the script to a keybinding and open/close a terminal window displaying lynx)
    However this is not robust -  there are identical Latin and German lemmata:
    ab#B43
    ab#C60601
    So the approach above must fail because I don't pipe the identifiers to dmenu. I could alter the list which gets piped to dmenu to
    ab [de]
    ab [lat]
    and could then get back to the identifier...
    But the longterm goal would be a more suitable custom console interface: I am thinking of
    a terminal window which is divided into two parts, the left showing the lemmata, the right showing the definition of the lemma currently selected (think of something like a console music player, e.g. moc)
    possibility of an on the fly dmenu-like search of the lemmata while typing
    for the viewer part: automatical wrapping of the lines, colored text for <strong> and <em> tags, stripping of the HTML, scrolling (a lemma definition/translation may be very long) and display of UTF-8
    I tend to hack this in C as I lack the knowledge of any other language (as an emacs user I also thought of using emacs and displaying the definitions in w3m but I don't know any lisp other then setting variables...).
    So my questions are:
    Is this doable? If yes, which libraries should I consider? (ncurses, libhtml....)
    Does anyone know a program which does something similar?
    So far this would be my first program which makes use of menues, so any suggestions are very welcome! Any other ideas how to access lemmata and their definitions in a simple manner?

    As you may have seen from the lack of replies, this is a bit hard to advise on.  Things that occur to me:
    Rather than a library, you could use regular expressions for parsing, as you already did with awk.  They are available in C via POSIX functions, see the regex (3) manual page.
    If all input you need is a decision between a small number of duplicate words, curses seems overkill.  Why not print all of them?  If you want more interaction, using curses is probably the right thing.
    Personally I would probably use Perl for this task, which is the most productive programming language I know and is especially suited for text processing.  Seeing the rather advanced shell script you wrote (definitely more than beginner level), you may like it, as it was inspired by the shell scripts using sed, awk and the like.

  • Dynamic creation of Dropdown by Index in the view

    Hi,
    Please help me how to create Dropdown by Index dynamically.
    The scenario is in a view, part of view is Static and other part is Dynamic.
    Dynamic part display depends on entry  selected from Static part of the view.
    I am using method WDDOMODIFYVIEW to implement this. I could successfully generate Group, Caption, TextView view

  • Issue in converting Struts view to JSF view using struts-faces integration

    Hi All,
    I am facing a issue in my Sruts to JSF conversion application using struts-faces.jar integration library.
    Need expert's help desperately as I am not able to use <s:form> tag in my new jsf page to call a struts action.
    I want to call a struts action from my web page designed using JSF,
    but it seems impossible without using <s:form> tag from struts-faces integration library.
    Please suggest how to resolve this...
    I am using WSAD 5.1 IDE with inbuilt Test environment WebSphere server
    JSF Version: Sun's RI 1.1
    Struts framework: 1.2.6
    Struts-Faces Integration Library version: 1.0
    I have configured a controller element in struts-config.xml file as has been suggested by different online
    documents I studied:
    <controller>
    <set-property property="processorClass"
    value="org.apache.struts.faces.application.FacesRequestProcessor"/>
    </controller>
    But configuring a controller does not allow my test server to start up properly and due to errors the ActionServlet also becomes unavailable.
    If I comment the controller and start the test server it starts fine but then I cannot access the converted jsf page which contains the <s:form action="/xxxxx.do"> tag.
    If now I get back to <h:form> tag instead of <s:form> tag with a <h:commandButton action="xxxx.do"/> for form submission in my jsf page, I see the html page generated with all components but now checking the html source generated I see
    <form action="/contextName/jspFolder/sameDisplayedPage.jsf"> which is not valid and never gets called successfully.
    I think someways I need to use the <s:form> tag with the controller configured properly to use the struts-faces integration library's request processor, to get things working. But HOW???
    Following is the error I get if I use the <controller> tag element in struts-config.xml file and start the server.
    This error appears on starting the server without accessing any application's jsp web page

    Finally if I change my <s:form action="xxxxx.do"> tag to
    <h:form>
    <h:commandButton id="submit" action="xxxx.do" value="Submit" />
    I see the webpage coming up in the browser (no controller element used in struts-config.xml file this time)
    But in the html source of this html created from jsf I see
    <form id="_id2" method="post" action="/training2/jsp/welcomeF.faces" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded">
    here form's action attribute is pointing to the same displayed page with the context name prefixed. I
    assume it is because jsf could not resolve the "xxxx.do" action to anything so set it to the same displayed page.
    May be I am wrong as usual...
    Below is the simple struts jsp page which I need to convert to jsf page as I am converting only the View part of application.
    I want to use the same struts beans and application logic at the back-end. At front-end I need UIComponents from JSF to be used.
    Following is the struts jsp page
    <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1" %>
    <%@ taglib prefix="html" uri="/WEB-INF/lib/struts-html.tld" %>
    <%@ taglib prefix="bean" uri="/WEB-INF/lib/struts-bean.tld" %>
    <html:html>
    <html:base/>
    <html:messages id="messages" />
    <font style="color:red; font=weight:italic; font-family: century gothic">
    <html:errors/>
    </font>
    <BODY>
    <P>Sample Struts and JSF integration example</P>
    <P>This one is being displayed via Struts specific tags</P>
    <html:form action="validateUser.do">
    <bean:message key="label.name" /> : <html:text property="name" />
    <bean:message key="label.password" /> : <html:password property="password" />
    <bean:message key="label.age" /> : <html:text property="age" />
    <bean:message key="label.city" /> : <html:text property="city" />
    <bean:message key="label.address" /> : <html:text property="address" />
    <html:submit property="submit" value="Show info via Struts" />
    </html:form>
    </BODY>
    </html:html>
    I have converted it into the following jsf page
    <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1" %>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" prefix="f" %>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" prefix="h" %>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://struts.apache.org/tags-faces" prefix="s" %>
    <f:view>
    <HTML><BODY>
    <f:verbatim><P>Sample Struts and JSF integration example</P></f:verbatim>
    <f:verbatim><P>This one is being displayed via JSF tags</P></f:verbatim>

    Time's fun when you're having flies Kermit, the Frog
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I've managed to get this working Ok from JDeveloper:
    See:
    http://www.groundside.com/blog/content/DuncanMills/J2EE+Development/?permalink=573FDB6F8D918B9704907899635CABB1.txt
    http://www.groundside.com/blog/content/DuncanMills/J2EE+Development/?permalink=2B04ACE99A6437EDED775F15553D1DED.txt
    Basically you just have to fiddle around with Library settings to get this working OK.
    As to how useful this is, well that's up to you - I'd not regard Faces + Struts as a must use combination, rather it's a can mix if you really need to. Look at Faces and Faces navigation first and see if that actually gives you enough before you start to look at mixing.

  • The change in model is not reflected to view

    Hi,
    I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 with ADF Faces and ADFBC. I have Order and Orderline tables, related EO's and related VO and Viewlinks. When I test the model with AppModule Tester everthing works as expected. On the view part there is an ADF Form for Order VO and ADF Table for Orderline VO. In orderline there is a quantity field(af:inputText with autosubmit = true;) when it's changed the linetotal field is updated and ordertotal field is updated too. This logic is implemented in entity objects implementation. On the jsf page the change to linetotal field is reflected to view but the change to ordertotal field is not. linetotal and ordertotal fields both has Partial Triggers on quantity field.
    On remove of orderline record I also update the ordertotal field and in this case the change is reflected to view. This should be a very simple issue. Any help is appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Salim

    Maybe you should run the code in an eventhandler for the event 'changed' of purchase order ?

  • Need to create tree-view page.

    I'm trying to create a tree-view display using Oracle JDeveloper 10g Release 3, ADF and JSF.
    I need to show a tree (folder names) and on a click of the last level folder to show table with File names that are related to the selected folder.
    Data is stored in two tables:
    1. contains Folder names and hierarchy relations;
    2. contains File names.
    These tables related by folder ID.
    Using ADF Faces Component, I created a 3 level Tree that expends and collapses each level of Folder names but I don't know how to populate the View part (table with File names). Basically, I need to take an ID of the selected row in the Tree and pass it as a parameter to the View table query where clause.

    Since this is not a hibernate forum i suggest you ask your question about hibernate somewhere else.

  • Alert is not working for mutiple times for list "select" function in sapui5 XML view

    Hello All,
    I am trying to open an alert for multiple times for list "select" function. But it's opening for only one time .
    Please find code below.
    View Part
    <List id="contactedit" select="somefunction">
        <CustomListItem id="custom1" type="Inactive" >
    <content>
    <Label text="this is label" />
    </content>
    </CustomListItem>
    </List>
    Controller Part
    somefunction: function(oEvent){
    alert("this is an alert");
    Thanks in Advance
    D.Mohanbabu

    I think I saw this question in stack overflow. And I answered it :-)
    I believe that it is because you can only one item in the list and once the item is selected, re-selecting it will not fire the event.
    Try adding more items to the list and select different items.
    Thanks

  • Model View Control

    Hi.. i need some help when designing the view part of my application. My main problem is that sometimes i do not know how to separate the control code from the one needed in the view part.For example, if I have some componentes(implementes mouse motion listener) that can be moved., that code where should it goes?

    My 2 Shekels' worth (for what it's worth):
    1) Perhaps a component should not implement a Listener.
    2) Rather the component could be part of the View
    3) And the Listener could be part of the Control.
    4) The Model holds the position of the movable component.
    5) The MouseListeners of the Control tell the Model when a move occurs.
    6) The Model notifies the View that a change has occurred (Observer Pattern)
    7) The View queries the Model's state and changes itself accordingly.
