View/print annual calendar?

is there a way to view all of my appointments on a certain calendar for the whole year? is there a way to do it that would exclude all non-event days? say if i work mon-fri, can i view a year w/o sat & sun? can i print or email this?
emac   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I wish!
The only way I have found so far is. Print the dalendar in a list view to a .pdf file. You can only do 99 days at a time. Open the .pdf in Preview and select the calendar data. Paste this into a spreadsheet. Insert a column and fill it with a sequence of numbers 1 to however many lines you have. Sort on the column with the calendar data. Remove unwanted data lines then re sort the column with the serial numbers. Still not good but the best solution so far!

    Thank you so much... I put this in another thread too, but, through help I learned that it is the errors that's causing this. The problem is that I don't know enough to fix it. It happens in a nested table, (don't know CSS well enough either to use it instead) and I can't figure it out... its a full page table, 50% on each side, and a center cell that should contain a same-size nested table... as in, I want to put all the content in the center.
    The error:  "table" is not allowed within: "tr"

  • Can I print a Calendar View from Lightning?

    I would like to print the week view of my calendar as it appears on the screen, rather than a list of tasks and events. Is there a way to do this?

    Open your calendar. Go to '''File|Print'''.
    Try, under "Layout", "Monthly Grid".
    Alternatively, you could try a screen dump. Select the calendar window, press Alt+PrtScr, then paste into Paint and print from there.

  • I try to print my calendar (month view), but it starts on tuesday. I would like it to start on Monday.

    I try to print my calendar using the month view. The problem is that the first column start with Tuesday whereas I would like it to start with Monday. Any clues?
    Nota Bene: in my settings the week starts the Monday.
    Thanks a lot

    New bug introduced with Yosemite, I can't reproduce it on 10.9.5.
    The work around I found is to set the first day of the week as Sunday. Then you have a printed version of the week or month starting at Monday.

  • Printing/Preview Calendar Month View shows no appointment

    On some clients when the user clicks on Calendar and then choose print calendar both preview and the print(obviously) show no calendar events. There are calendar events on those days and other users with some of the same calendars can print.
    We've updates the client to 2012 SP2, Firefox is the latest and we tried changing IE to be the default browser in case that was involved. We also changed their default printer to be the same as a working client and rebooted the workstation. No effect - although changing the default printer ended up showing a gray screen instead of at least just a blank calendar. We also checked all options to see that they were the same as a working client.
    I am at a loss. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what to try to get this fixed. They really need the option to print their calendars on a regular basis. Thank you.

    Hi Laura,
    I see TID 7011876 that talks about "Unable to print shared or subscribed calendars" and how it prints just a blank page with date range. Our problem is similar - even the print preview comes up grey. We seem to have fixed it on one workstation with a client repair install from another Windows profile but it's a fluke because it hasn't fixed anyone else.
    Anything that you can do to help us get this through to Novell is so greatly appreciated. This is a major problem for us. I have full departments that have migrated from using Google calendars to GroupWise. As an organization we are trying to all use the same calendaring system. Some of my departments have a real need to print and cannot do so. This is keeping them from communicating with staff. That TID I mention is from SP1 and listed Reported to Engineering in March.
    I know in Enterprise Calendar it would seem that printing to paper would be a low priority but my Administrators have shown me very good reasons to do so. Hopefully, Novell can look at this as more of a priority to fix. We are on SP2 at this point. Thanks again. 8^D

  • Printing 'checked calendars' in iCal

    I have 25+ calendars in iCal and always found the following functionality useful (which is described in iCal 2.0 Help online):
    +By default, the calendars that are currently selected in the main iCal window will be printed. Selecting or deselecting calendars here does not affect what's checked in the main calendar view, it only affects what is printed.+
    I didn't realize just how useful this feature was until I upgraded to 3.0 and it stopped working this way. Now whenever I go to print a calendar, ALL calendars are checked to be printed as the default and I have to uncheck the ones I don't want one by one (or by group).. even more annoying because the window they give you to do this in the Print dialogue box is tiny not resizable.
    Has anyone else experienced this? Any help on how I can get iCal to work properly? I checked iCal help within the application and it says the default is the same as I listed above from 2.0. Your feedback and help is much appreciated!

    I'm adding a "me too" too. This is making me crazy. I have about 10 calendars that I have to uncheck to print one calendar every day!

  • Print iCal calendar and display location

    When I print a calendar in month view, I need to see the location and it's not there. Does anyone know how to get location to print on month view printed calendars?
    I'm using iCal v3.0.6.
    Thanks!
    SP

    sp_64,
    Are you found of the Month View look. Because you can print in list view and add more days. How many days you can print on a page depends on the details and how many events you have. But it will give you your location information. I will continue to look into it but that is what I've found so far.
    Hope that helps,
    Weston

  • Can I print small calendars in iCal or from some other program?

    I have a calendar in iCal that is used to keep track of my girlfriend's class and work schedule (which is wildly different from day to day). I would love to have this calendar on my iPhone but it must be in a different color like it is in iCal so that I can differentiate her schedule from my own easily. I thought a nice solution might be to simply print a small business card sized week view of her schedule and keep it in my wallet, however I can't seem to get ical to print a week view on anything smaller than an 8x10 sheet of paper.
    It would be a great help to me if you could show me how to either sync to my iphone in a different color or print a small portable "cheat sheet" that I can carry with me...
    By the way Apple, if you're reading this, how come we can't keep calendars that are separate in iCal separate in iPhone? Unless I am just being a dunce on this one, you should consider making this possible on the iPhone.

    Ok it is a long one but it is possible to resize it without any external programs.
    Only one calendar is synced to iPhone (ie one colour)
    To print your calendar small:
    Choose File/Print
    Select everything you want on the calendar, don't worry about sizes yet and click Continue
    In the print window, choose Paper Handling and select Scale to fit paper size
    Choose the size you would like (business card?)
    You can either print or Save to PDF

    Guten Tag

  • Printing a calendar, help!

    Hi, I never used this feature before but now I'd like to create a calendar and print it at home. I exported it in pdf but I cannot manage to set it in order to fit an A4 sheet. The problem is it prints in one sheet the photo and in the other the calendar, so it would be 24 sheets for the months plus one for the cover. Any ideas? Thanks

    AU:
    There is a way you can print a calendar to A4 paper, both sides. First do a Print to PDF with the option Save PDF to iPhoto as seen in this screenshot:
    Click to view full size
    This will create a 2000 x 1600 pixel jpg file of each page of the calendar. Once in iPhoto you can print a photo page onto A4 borderless paper, turn it over and print the corresponding calendar on the reverse side.
    If you want to create a higher resolution jpg for printing you can edit the Send PDF to iPhoto workflow with Automator and change the dpi setting from 200 to 300. This will create a 3000 x 2400 pixel jpg of each page.
    The workflow to edit can be found in the HD/System/Library/PDF Services folder. It's called Save PDF to iPhoto.workflow. Make a copy of it, drop it on the Automator icon to open in Automator and make the necessary edits. Name the copy appropriately and put in the same folder with the original workflow.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
    Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • HT1349 How can I print my calendar in iCloud?

    How can I print my calendar in iCloud?

    I am shocked that calendars are still printed. [tongue in cheek ]
    iCloud is a function to share/sync my calendar between iMac, macbook, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The calendar is always at my finger tips and I can view it on any and all those devices and know it is current and correct. I can't imagine carrying a piece of paper, which may be out of date, missing updates, adds, and deletes minutes after it is printed.

    GETTING THE OTHER CALENDARS SENT HOME FOR THE FAMILY IS EASY BUT THOUGHT I'D SAVE TIME AND $$ DOING THE LAST ONE DIRECT FROM THE PRINTERS.  I KNOW THERE IS A BUTTON FOR ORDERING FROM WHICH REGION? BUT CANNOT REMEMBER WHERE TO FIND IT...

    I KNOW THERE IS A BUTTON FOR ORDERING FROM WHICH REGION?
    iPhoto preferences > Advanced > Print Products Store
    Set it to the country of the Store you want to order from.
    The country in this setting needs to be the same as the country of your billing address and shipping address. And the AppleiD and Credit card have to be valid in that country.

  • Printing in calendar format using forms

    I need to print to a file in a calendar format, with
    monthly view using Forms 9i. Oracle Portal and APEX
    is not an option.
    There is a table which consists data for several months,
    and I need to use oracle forms as parameter form
    to pass the date range to print the calendar.
    The requirement is one month per page. I am thinking
    there should be a way to generate an HTML output.
    As always, looking forward to some great ideas.
    thanks

    OK. Here goes:
    Query 1:
    /*Select the months between the from and to dates */
    SELECT months, to_date('01-'||months,'DD-MON-YYYY') order_date
    FROM ( SELECT distinct TO_CHAR(days,'MON-YYYY') months
    FROM (SELECT :p_fr_date + (ROWNUM-1) days
    FROM M191F
    WHERE ROWNUM <= to_number(:p_to_date - :p_fr_date) +1)
    ORDER BY to_date('01-'||months,'DD-MON-YYYY')
    M191F is a dummy table with 1000 rows in it. It has 1 column M191COPY NUMBER(10). We use it just as a driver if things want to bring out a given number of records. We are using a parameter form in the report to get p_to_date and p_fr_date but that would be easy to receive from a Form.
    In the group I see there is a formula column producing the page title, it returns
    return to_char(:order_date,'fmMonth YYYY');
    Query 2
    Now you need to take some headache pills:
    SELECT
    TO_CHAR((TO_DATE('01-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY') -
    DECODE(TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('01-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'),
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('24-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 0,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('25-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 1,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('26-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 2,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('27-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 3,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('28-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 4,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('01-MAR-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 5,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('02-MAR-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 6)) + (ROWNUM-1) ,'FMDy dd Mon YYYY') datee,
    '' day, '' tasks, to_date('') the_date
    FROM M191F
    WHERE ROWNUM <= DECODE(TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('01-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'),
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('24-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 0,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('25-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 1,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('26-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 2,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('27-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 3,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('28-FEB-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 4,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('01-MAR-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 5,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE('02-MAR-2003','DD-MON-YYYY'),'Dy'), 6)
    UNION ALL
    SELECT TO_CHAR(TO_DATE(ROWNUM||'-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY'),'FMDy dd Mon YYYY') datee,
    TO_CHAR(TO_DATE(ROWNUM||'-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY'),'dd') day,
    ans_y_util.daily_tasks (:p_owner, TO_DATE(ROWNUM||'-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY')) tasks,
    TO_DATE(ROWNUM||'-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY') the_date
    FROM M191F
    WHERE ROWNUM <= TO_CHAR(LAST_DAY(TO_DATE('01-'||:months,'DD-MON-YYYY')),'DD')
    The union bit is the call to our function in ans_y_util which I think will return some text to say what's happening on the date provided, for the user. So it calls that once for each date in the range, even if there's nothing happening on that day.
    It looks like the trick is in working out which day of the week you're on about. Putting the hard coded date of reference in Feb 2003 gives it a starting point.
    Then all this is neatly laid out in the Layout Editor... ;-) I guess it's something to do with an Across/Down layout, measured to fit the 7 cells in it across before going down.
    I hope this is relevant. But you did ask!

    The paths won't agree on the two OSs so a simple XML import isn't likely to work.
    See Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers and, if needed, Make a split library portable. The techniques in the first link will work when moving the library between Windows and OS X as long as the library is "portable", but iTunes takes quite some time checking the database when the library is opened under a different OS.
