View responses - Column titles

Please can you help me find out why the questions I have created in the form (with either multiple/drop down answers) are not appearing in the column titles within "View Responses"???
Currently I have lots of blank column titles with answers yes or no in them and I cant see what question releates to what answer??

Hi,
Do you have filters set?
If possible, please provide a screenshot showing the problem.
Let me point you to some documentation on View Responses features, please check these out and see if they help you resolve your issue:

  • Columns' positions do not match in pdf form compared to the "View Response" tab in Form Central

    I think I understand why this happened. And I am loookng for workarounds.
    For example, let's say in the beginning you have five fields (A, B, C, D, E) in your form. Later on, you decided that you need to add two more fields says A1, and C1, and now the fields are as follow A, A1, B, C, C1, D, E. After you submitted the form to Adobe Form Central, you take a look at the "View Responses" tab, and you realize the order of the columns are as follow A, B, C, D, E, A1, C1.
    I believe this happened because the new fields A1, and C1 were added later. But I am wondering what are the workarounds?
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, it does work in Acrobat Reader. I'm just trying to determine if this is a recent bug in Tiger (like maybe because of the 10.4.9 update) or if it's something related to the particular version of Acrobat the file was created in.
    I haven't had to have Acrobat Reader on any of my Mac's since Jaguar.

  • How do I SUM filtered column set only in FormsCentral View Responses?

    Hello... When I use the FormsCentral "view responses" tab's excel spreadsheet report, I can't seem to SUBTOTAL any columns once they have been filtered!
    I only see an option for adding SUM in the last row, but it calculates all of the filtered and unfiltered amounts together anyway... How can I only add up and report the amount for the filtered set selected??
    Thank you!  -Chris

    Hi wcanerday,
    Thanks for the green tick and your feedback. Yes, the SUMIF function is powerful!
    When you adapt the Personal Budget template, make sure that the items in the Category Column (A) on the Budget sheet exactly match the items in the Pop-Up Menus in Column C of the Transactions sheet.
    Editing a Pop-Up Menu in Numbers 3 is easy. Please call back if you need more help.

  • Reorder columns in View Responses window

    Can the columns in View Responses window be reordered?
    If so, can it be done prior to all the responses being received?
    How does the program determine the order for the columns? It is different from the tab order on the form.
    Thanks

    Yes, they can be reordered. Just select the column (where the column letters are) and drag it where you want it to go.
    You can reorder the columns anytime you want. The default order is based on the order of the fields in the Design tab.

  • Xml search and replace for 'Session Variables' in column title view

    Hi Experts,
    I have around 10 reports where measure column titles are displayed based the session variable.
    Below is the syntax I have used in the column title
    @{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.VariableName']}
    Now I would like to replace the above syntax with some static text. To do this, I am trying to use the xml search and replace feature in the catalog manager.
    For some reason, catalog manager is unable to find the syntax in the xml file. I have tried using escape character also for the apostrophe by using &apos, but no luck.
    Any pointers on how to replace the text?
    Thanks

    Using Analysis get the xml conversion for @{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.VariableName']} from Advanced tab's xml code
    use this code to find in catalog manager, if you able to find then go for search and replace option.
    I think this should work for you.

  • Spreadsheet Column Titles

    BD: im creating a form to be emailed out, and then collect the XML responses into a spreadsheet
    When i collate the XMl into the spread sheet the column titles are the Hierarchy. EG. form1[0].User-Information[0].Name[0]
    I just want it to say Name which is what that specific box is called.
    I would imagine its something simple but I cant seem to find an answer.
    Any suggestions?

    Brian,
    You can get part way there by switching to Print View and choosing to have the header row repeat on the top of each page.

  • How to create a Custom List without the column "Title" ?

    Maybe this one is easy as it sounds, I just want to know how to create a little list for my SharePoint application featuring 3 columns:
    1 - User Name (this should be Person type - UNIQUE + Required)
    2 - Report (Memo - Required)
    3 - Status (Choice + Required)
    The list will be used to allow the users to submit a weekly report and I don't want to include the title because there is no use to me, I know I can hide the column by customizing the list but this sounds very amateur even for a newbie like me (yeah... sounds
    so cheap!), since I've been reading a lot about custom content types and I still didn't get the chance to use this properly I was wondering how I could put them to use and I guess the example here would be the best right?
    I really spent some time trying but I always end getting the Title even when I try to use custom content types so I'm really giving up and asking for some help at this point.
    Thanks a lot for the help!!!

    Yes, you can do that. If you need a different content type with your custom fields. Following are the steps : http://www.dotnetcurry.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=620
    After creating your custom Content Type, Click on the 'Title' filed in your custom content type.
    In the 'Column Settings' make it 'Hidden (Will not appear in forms)' and click ok.
    Now add this content type to your list/library.
    In the list/Library go to setting and 'Advance settings' and make the 'Allow management of Content Type?' as 'yes' and click ok.
    Now make default content type not visible from 'Change new button order and default content type' link in the settings page of list/library, and your contet type as 'Default'.
    Create a new view, remove the 'Title' field and make that view as 'dafault' view, you can delete the 'All Items' view also if required.
    Now whenever user come to that list/Library they will not see the title column and also will not appear in the 'New Item'.
    Note : The 'Title' field is mandatory in all the list/library and by default added to the 'All Item' view. So, by doing above steps you are creating a new content type where 'Title' is not mandatory and also not added in default view.

  • XML Schema Collection (SQL Server 2012): How to create an XML Schema Collection that can be used to Validate a field name (column title) of an existing dbo Table of a Database in SSMS2012?

    Hi all,
    I used the following code to create a new Database (ScottChangDB) and a new Table (marvel) in my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio (SSMS2012) successfully:
    -- ScottChangDB.sql saved in C://Documents/SQL Server XQuery_MacLochlainns Weblog_code
    -- 14 April 2015 09:15 AM
    USE master
    IF EXISTS
    (SELECT 1
    FROM sys.databases
    WHERE name = 'ScottChangDB')
    DROP DATABASE ScottChangDB
    GO
    CREATE DATABASE ScottChangDB
    GO
    USE ScottChangDB
    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[marvel] (
    [avenger_name] [char] (30) NULL, [ID] INT NULL)
    INSERT INTO marvel
    (avenger_name,ID)
    VALUES
    ('Hulk', 1),
    ('Iron Man', 2),
    ('Black Widow', 3),
    ('Thor', 4),
    ('Captain America', 5),
    ('Hawkeye', 6),
    ('Winter Soldier', 7),
    ('Iron Patriot', 8);
    SELECT avenger_name FROM marvel ORDER BY ID For XML PATH('')
    DECLARE @x XML
    SELECT @x=(SELECT avenger_name FROM marvel ORDER BY ID FOR XML PATH('Marvel'))--,ROOT('root'))
    SELECT
    person.value('Marvel[4]', 'varchar(100)') AS NAME
    FROM @x.nodes('.') AS Tbl(person)
    ORDER BY NAME DESC
    --Or if you want the completed element
    SELECT @x.query('/Marvel[4]/avenger_name')
    DROP TABLE [marvel]
    Now I am trying to create my first XML Schema Collection to do the Validation on the Field Name (Column Title) of the "marvel" Table. I have studied Chapter 4 XML SCHEMA COLLECTIONS of the book "Pro SQL Server 2008 XML" written by
    Michael Coles (published by Apress) and some beginning pages of XQuery Language Reference, SQL Server 2012 Books ONline (published by Microsoft). I mimicked  Coles' Listing 04-05 and I wanted to execute the following first-drafted sql in
    my SSMS2012:
    -- Reference [Scott Chang modified Listing04-05.sql of Pro SQL Server 2008 XML by Michael Coles (Apress)]
    -- [shcColes04-05.sql saved in C:\\Documents\XML_SQL_Server2008_code_Coles_Apress]
    -- [executed: 2 April 2015 15:04 PM]
    -- shcXMLschemaTableValidate1.sql in ScottChangDB of SQL Server 2012 Management Studio (SSMS2012)
    -- saved in C:\Documents\XQuery-SQLServer2012
    tried to run: 15 April 2015 ??? AM
    USE ScottChangDB;
    GO
    CREATE XML SCHEMA COLLECTION dbo. ComplexTestSchemaCollection_all
    AS
    N'<?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <xsd:element name="marvel">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:all>
    <xsd:element name="avenger_name" />
    <xsd:element name="ID" />
    </xsd:all>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:element>
    </xsd:schema>';
    GO
    DECLARE @x XML (dbo. ComplexTestSchemaCollection_all);
    SET @x = N'<?xml version="1.0"?>
    <marvel>
    <avenger_name>Thor</name>
    <ID>4</ID>
    </marvel>';
    SELECT @x;
    GO
    DROP XML SCHEMA COLLECTION dbo.ComplexTestSchemaCollection_all;
    GO
    I feel that drafted sql is very shaky and it needs the SQL Server XML experts to modify to make it work for me. Please kindly help, exam the coding of my shcXMLTableValidate1.sql and modify it to work.
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott Chang

    Hi Scott,
    2) Yes, FOR XML PATH clause converts relational data to XML format with a specific structure for the "marvel" Table. Regarding validate all the avenger_names, please see below
    sample.
    DECLARE @x XML
    SELECT @x=(SELECT ID ,avenger_name FROM marvel FOR XML PATH('Marvel'))
    SELECT @x
    SELECT
    n.value('avenger_name[1]','VARCHAR(99)') avenger_name,
    n.value('ID[1]','INT') ID
    FROM @x.nodes('//Marvel') Tab(n)
    WHERE n.value('ID[1]','INT') = 1 -- specify the ID here
    --FOR XML PATH('Marvel')  --uncommented this line if you want the result as element type
    3)i.check the xml schema content
    --find xml schema collection
    SELECT ss.name,xsc.name collection_name FROM sys.xml_schema_collections xsc JOIN sys.schemas ss ON xsc.schema_id= ss.schema_id
    select * from sys.schemas
    --check the schema content,use the name,collection_name from the above query
    SELECT xml_schema_namespace(N'name',N'collection_name')
    3)ii. View can be viewed as virtual table. Use a view to list the XML schema content.
    CREATE VIEW XSDContentView
    AS
    SELECT ss.name,xsc.name collection_name,cat.content
    FROM sys.xml_schema_collections xsc JOIN sys.schemas ss ON xsc.schema_id= ss.schema_id
    CROSS APPLY(
    SELECT xml_schema_namespace(ss.name,xsc.name) AS content
    ) AS cat
    WHERE xsc.name<>'sys'
    GO
    SELECT * FROM XSDContentView

  • Using mathematical symbols in column titles -can't get it to work!

    Hello all,
    I am trying to use greek mathematical symbols in my column titles, ( &#916; delta, &#940; alpha etc)
    There is obviously some character set conversion problem/I need greek alphabet as the symbols are output as question marks on my JSP pages.
    Does anyone know how to fix this please?
    (I am setting the label text in the control hints section of the view object editor)
    Thanks,
    Louise

    Include the Symbol you want in the control hint as an HTML encoding e.g &amp;delta; or &amp;#948;
    Then in the page, go to the JSTL tag that displays the ${bindings[column].label} set the escapeXML attribute to false.

  • In the View Responses functionality

    In the View Responses section of a form, can I make the options for a datapoint a dropdown field rather than a free form field?

    Also, today, I am able to go into the private view and the header columns are normal sized like they should be in the public view. But that was not the case yesterday. So, I'm perplexed

  • View Responses not matching form

    Our form categories are not matching the columns for our view responses headers.  Some are missing altogether.  How do I fix this?  I do not think that adding the column in the view responses spreadsheet will correlate with the form.  Help please!

    Do you have any filters specified (Personal view) within the Response table?

  • How to populate column titles for y values when using Write to Measurement File Express VI with a tab delimited text-based .lvm file?

    The .lvm file generated by the Write to Measurement File Express VI includes column heading titles for the y values, but they are a default value of "untitled".  See attached example of a sample file when opened in Excel, the values in question are highlighted.  Is there a way to specify the column titles when the file is written?
    This is a similar question to this posting, which received a work around response to use the Write to Spreadsheet File.vi, rather than a solution when using this VI.

    Sorry for the late reply.  I was out of the office Friday.
    You can do it, but the code can get rather ugly.  Under the hood, the dynamic data type (the dark blue wire) is an array of waveforms.  In your case, the scalar values you convert to a dynamic data type are being converted to an array of waveforms, each waveform having one element.  You have two options.
    Explicitly convert your scalars to one-element waveforms (t0=0, dt=1) and add the title before conversion to a dynamic data type.
    Convert your dynamic data type to an array of waveforms and loop through them to add the column labels.  The conversion blocks are in the Signal Manipulation Express palette.
    I would recommend 2, since it is the easiest to add.  It is also the easiest to run only on the first iteration.  Just put a case selector around the loop, wire the selection to the While loop iterator, and set the case containing the label code to 0.  The default case simply passes through the dynamic data.
    My apologies for not including a screen shot.  I am in the process of upgrading my machine and can't run LabVIEW.  If you need one, let me know and I can post one tomorrow.

  • In Forms Central/View Responses/Save as PDF, is it possible to exclude some form fields?

    in Forms Central/View Responses/Save as PDF, is it possible to exclude some form fields from the saved file?

    Hi,
    I would like to inform you that with forms central, you can convert the selected fields to PDF.
    However, your selection should be sequential. Example- You can convert column 1,2,3,4 and not select column 5; but it is not possible to select only column 2 and 3.

  • Reg BSP table column title

    Hi All,
    I have problem with BSP table title display for one of the field.
    The current code of
    <%-- -
    Create table for line item----
    --%>
                                                      <htmlb:tableView id    = "tv_eban"
                                                                table = "<%= it_final %>" >
                                                      </htmlb:tableView>
                                                      </htmlb:tabStripItem>
                                                  </htmlb:tabStrip>
    The table field titles are defined and comes by default. From where does the sap table title text is coming. Here can we now update to display the new title for one of the new table field.
    Thanks in advance. Please let me know if you need any further details.
    From
    Reddy.

    Hi Readdy,
    The column title of the BSP application comes from each data-element's field label of your table columns.
    For example, let us assume that internal table contains two columns, say
    col1 type char10
    col2 type char50
    where,
    col1 and col2 are column names of the internal table and
    char10 and char50 are data elements associated with col1 and col2 respectively.
    Now when you display this structure in a table view then by default the title is got from the data element. The field label in the data element is used for this purpose.
    In our example, the char10 field label is blank and char50 filed label is 'c'. So by default the col1 title will be blank and col2 title will be 'c'. (Don't worry i have cross-checked it).
    There are three ways where you could give your own title
    1. Provide a correct data element to the columns with correct field labels.
    2. Change the BSP code by providing the title as given below,
    <%@page language="abap"%>
    <%@extension name="htmlb" prefix="htmlb"%>
    <htmlb:content design="design2003">
      <htmlb:page title = "Table view column defult title text ">
        <htmlb:form>
            <htmlb:tableView id="tv1" table="<%= itab %>">
            <htmlb:tableViewColumns>
            <htmlb:tableViewColumn columnName="col1" title="Column 1"></htmlb:tableViewColumn>
            <htmlb:tableViewColumn columnName="col2" title="Column 2"></htmlb:tableViewColumn>
            </htmlb:tableViewColumns>
            </htmlb:tableView>
        </htmlb:form>
      </htmlb:page>
    </htmlb:content>
    3. To implement a iterator for this table view and change the title. (This has loads of features in order to modify the table view display).
    Hope it helps! Please search in the sdn forums for more intresting ways of using the tableview tag. As suggested by SAP Mentor Graham Robinson, please look into the example BSP application for more information.

  • Sort column title does not stay hilighted

    This problem started with iTunes 8.0.2. As before, the column title is hilighted when you click on it to sort and remains hilighted when you go in another playlist and get back. For some columns like "Album for sort", the hilighted title changes when getting back to the playlist for "Album" (or Album by year or Album by Artist), but the sort itself seems to remain OK.

    Are you using "View > Sort Photos > By Title"?  Is the second option set to "ascending" or "descending"?
