View security cameras on iphone

Is it possible to view my security cameras on iphone ? The cameras are being recorded on a dedicated Micros DVR which is plugged in to net.

Lextechlabs is working on getting their app iRa approved for the App Store. It's a security monitoring app for remote viewing of your premises cameras while offsite. Reference http://www.lextechlabs.com/ira

I have installed a new version of an APP (mViewer).  This app allows me to view security cameras in my office from anywhere.  I've tried installing several times, put in all the information, including passwords, but cannot get it to work either on my iPhone or iPad. Is anyone familiar with this app?  Thank you.

I don't know this app, but I did look it up in the iTunes Store, thinking I would suggest you could visit the developer's (vendor's) site and seek assistance there.
But when I found the app and went to the vendor's site, I found garbage (nothing useful).
    Oh well.

  • Problem Viewing Security Cameras Remotely

We want to view our security cameras on our smartphones. The problem started when we installed Airport Extreme Base Station. We have a Westell 6100G modem. Our OS is Windows 7. Here is what we've done so far.
Following instructions from Verizon, configured the 6100G to bridge mode so it would only operate as a modem. As per the instructions, we also disabled "Private LAN DHCP Server". In Airport Utility we configured connection sharing to "share a public IP address" and entered port mapping information. And than we lost our internet connection.  We reset the 6100G and configured AEBS back to bridge mode and now we have our internet connection back. But of course no remote cameras.
This shouldn't be that hard. What else can we do.

If the AEBS is bridged it has nothing to do with port forwarding.. all port forwarding will occur on the 6100G modem router.. look up the reference material for that.

  • What do i need to download to my iphone 3gs to be able to view all 4 security cameras at the same time? I can view one at a time live video streaming and just tap the screen to which direction i want to look and the lens moves.i use safari

What do i need to be able to view all 4 security cameras in the same window on my iphone 3gs? I can view 1 at a time and just tap the screen to move the lens of the security camera on my iphone from my work place. But i once had all 4 cameras but it will not downlosd all 4 now. Is there anything out there like a stronger java to push the activex to my iphone?

The iPhone does not run ActiveX. That is proprietary to MS Internet Exploder.

  • Having trouble viewing video feed on security camera since iOS7 installed

Has anyone else noticed that when checking security camera feed on the iphone, it does not display the video?  wasn't having that problem before the new OS.

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
    In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.

  • How can I view and convert .264 files from my security cameras for use on my Mac and the web?

My security cams record in a .264 file format HD.  I want to view, edit, etc on my Mac, what software will do that and are there any easy tips to do this?  I'm new to Mac's so I'm not sure what is the best format to convert to?  mp4?  Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.  I do love the Mac so far.

I have downloaded the trail....and it won't recognize my .264 files....not sure what the deal is?  Here is a screen shot-they files are "grayed" out....and won't highlight.  Do you see anything wrong?  I'm pulling the files off of a Lorex DVR security system.  LHD200

  • What changed in Firefox versions 15,16 & 17 while viewing network security cameras?

I have been viewing my network Axis security camera's over my local area network for years with Firefox. After update version 15, I can only view the image for a few seconds before I have to reload the page because the image will disappear. The camera's server stays up, but the video image is gone, and telling me to reload page. After a reload it comes back in. Sometimes it will only last 5 sec's, other times between 30 & 60 sec's. If I downgrade to version 14.0.1, it all works fine like it should again. Am I doomed to use this version now forever? Or is there a way to tweak the newer version to let me view the video image longer?
Camera's video image is in Motion JPEG format and I have the latest Java & flash installed. I also have tried Firefox with all plugins disabled and it still don't help. I have 64 bit Windows 7 for operating system.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • How to get my software on my 8900 curve and view home security cameras ?

hello, i was hoping to find a solution on how to access my home security cameras on my 8900 curve ; was told it was possible but the attet tech didnt know how exactly ! is there a way to download my software and view my home cameras on my curve ?

hi and Welcome to the Forums!
You will need to do one (or more) of several things:
    1) Find out if the maker of your cameras has an app for your BB. Do whatever they say to do to make it work.
    2) Create a compatible web page from your cameras that you can then view using your BB web browser. Compatible media streams can be found in this KB:
KB05482 Media types supported on the BlackBerry smartphone
I think this has been done before -- do a wide search on this forum and see if you can find the answers that others have found in the past.

  • IPhone as car security camera

Has anyone here ever used an iPhone as a car security camera?
I was considering getting an old iphone 3 or 4 and installing one of the many motion-sensitive security apps, and then taping it to the inside of a side window in the car.
This for when the car is away from home, spending all day in a parking garage.
I was not planning to get service for the iphone, just use a motion-sensitive security app to record footage when there is motion.
    Has anyone done this?
    Thanks.

Logically, the motion detected is caused by somebody who is stealing the car. So you're giving them the iPhone as an additional bonus...
some may even steal the car to get the phone

  • Viewing my security camera remotely

I have a MacBook Pro in the City, and an iBook G4 in the country. I have installed a security camera in the country, and I would like to view it while I'm in the City. But I am unable to logon to my country computer.
I also purchased SecuritySpy software, which helps to implement this. But it seems to serve up live stream only on my local network, not onto the internet. Have already checked with developer for help with this. All settings on this software are nominal.
The larger issue seems to be that my computer (cam notwithstanding) can't be found on the internet either. When I type in the address for the country computer, it does not appear.
Maybe I don't know how to make this happen......
    Would appreciate any help.
    Thanks

Looking at the SecuritySpy web site, it seems that remote viewing feature uses port 8000.
You will need to configure the router you use in your country home so it forwards port 8000 from the internet to your iBook G4's port 8000.
How you setup port forwarding depends on the make and model of your router in the country home. Some Google searching for "make/model Port Forward" will most likely find instructions for your router.
If you do not have a router, and your iBook G4 is connected directly to your broadband modem AND your broadband modem is not also a router, then skip the Port Forwarding setup, and go to the next step.
To make your life easier, you may want to get a Dynamic DNS name which will make finding your country home's internet connection much easier. You can get a free Dynamic DNS name from No-IP.com and DynDNS.org. You also download a Dynamic DNS updating utility from the service you get the Dynamic DNS name from. This utility will run on your Mac and keep the Dynamic DNS name updated with whatever IP address your ISP assigns to your router.
If you have the firewall enable, you need to allow port 8000 through to the SecuritySpy software. NOTE: If you are behind a router, and this system never leaves the home (that is it does not go to coffee shops or other public WiFi access points), you can turn off the firewall and allow the home router to be your hardware firewall.
Once you have that all setup, you can then access your security camera/SecuritySpy software using something like:
    http://yourDynamicDNSname.DynService.net:8000

Search the support website or contact the helpdesk of the equipment supplier. That would be the first place I'd try.

  • WIFI Security Camera's that can be monitored from my Macbook and iPhone4

I'm looking to purchase wifi security cameras that I can monitor from my Macbook and iPhone4. Can anybody tell me what the best camera is and what App. is the best to monitor from my iPhone4. Also, how would I set up my Macbook for monitoring. I'm new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You usually don't need an app or any software loaded on the phone/computer you are using to view the feed from IP cameras. You go to a web-site set up by the manufacturer, enter your user name and password and you see the picture through the web-browser.
However, check that the system you buy does not use Flash to send the pictures otherwise you won't be able to view them from an iPhone or iPad (but it will be fine on your MacBook).
