View Special Stock Inventroy on Plant

Hi,
We are using third party shipment, but by law we have to maintain an entry and a delivery for every transaction so we are going to fake a receipt and a delivery for every third party shipment.
So I would like to know if there are other transactions besides MB52 to view special stock material inventory on plant, so we can check that we dont have anything left for delivery and/or invoice.
Or if someone knows what billing relevance I can use for the item category so it shows up on vf04 as soon as I receive the material but that it will also allow me to make a picking and delivery of it.

Report by month with Valuated stock and special stock by storage location

Dear All,
I need a report similar to MCBE with stock level (including "storage loc/batch Stock" plus "special stock(Q)") by plant and storage location.
I try it with MCBE tcode, but i only get "storage loc/batch Stock" in column named valuated stock. Also I can obtain that information in MB5B tcode, but I cannot get data by storage location, only plant.
Does anyone know how can solve it?

Customer Return Special Stock

Hi,
Is it possible to return from customer special stock to a plant which is not the source plant? Currently, if I return to a different plant, it will say during outbound delivery, no stocks available.
For example.. transfer from plant A to customer special stock. then when customer return, receipt will be in plant B.
The materials to be returned are non valuated.

This is very much possible to get special stock return back from customer to plant B, but prior to that special stock material must be extended to Plant B. Now it is depand on business wheather u want to get it back on block stock or unrestricted use.

Transfer Special Stock between Plants

We would like to transfer a special stock assigned to a sales order from one plant to another plant with delivery documents. We doesn't want to use the transaction MB1B with the code movement 301E which does the transfer in one step without devlivery document. We would prefer to use the STO procedure but we doesn't know how to assign the special stock to the stock transfer order. Is there any solution?

With these two movement types, you can work with both valuated and nonvaluated sales order stock (E).

Considering stocks of both plants in special procure. type scenario.-urgent

Our client is using special procurement type 80(prod.in alternative plant), he is getting planned order in delivering plant as requirement generated by planning plant. while running MRP in both plants, it would consider only the stock of planning plant but not the stock of delivering plant suppose stock is made in delivering plant individually(say manual orders). As the requirement generated by planning plant, the planned order will be generated in delivering plant irrespective of its individual stock.
can we make the system to consider what ever the stock in delivering plant and create no planned order if stock is there.

If that was your requirement why not use Special Procurement key 70 (Withdraw from alternate plant). In this case system only creates reservation and Planning at Supplying plant will be based on the Net requirement calculation considering all recipets, Stock and Issues.

Special stock indicator taking wrongly

Dear All,
I have a problem while creating production order for MTO scenario (strategy 20 ).
In the components overview of the production order, system is selecting Special stock indicator as 1 (Individual customer stock) instead of Plant stock.
So that I am not able to issue the components to that Production order from the Unrestricted use stock.
Please suggest me what configuration settings need to be checked.

Pls. make the following change in Material Master :
Go to MRP-4 View---> Individual /Coll. Indicator --->
Change it from 1 Individual Requirements to 2 Collective requirements.
This will resolve your problem.

Special stock Indicator in process order

Hi Guys,
I am using Configurable material via BOM dependency. During sales order pop-up and selection are coming well. I have selected Component A1, B2, C2 with characteristic value. Now B2 and C2 have procurement type "F" and for A1 procurement type was X. After MRP run, saw in the planned order as 'special stock type E" for A1 material and in process order it is not taking plant stock. Instead it is asking for sales order stock and componet view shows Account assignment as "M" and special stock indicator as "Individual customer stock". Now I changed the procurement type as "F" and delete re-create MRP/ BOM re-run MRP........still it is not picking up plant stock in availability, instead now asking for purchase requisition. For B2 and C2, not asking for ourchase requisition as there is plant stock. . Why it is happening and how to solve it?

Special stock indicator Q in delivery

Hello friends,
Could any one explain me what is the relation ship between the special stock indicator in the outbound delivery and individual/col requirement in the Materila Master MRP-4 view.
Recently when i created the returned PO with account assignment catagory Q, delivery and GR in the supplying plant , but when i try to do the PGR in the receiving plant its throwing the error message Special stock indicator Q is not supported.
we noticed that in the material master MRP-4 view the individual /col requirement is blank at the time of PO, because of this special stock indicator is fetching in the outbound delivery . when we changed the individual/ col req to 2 and created the same scenario it allowing to do the PGR in the receving oplant and the special stock indicator is not fetching in the out bound delivery .

Exclude special stock (project) from MRP run

Would need to exclude special stocks representing project stocks from MRP calculation. Could not seem to find a way to control this via config similar to options available for blocked and in-transit stocks. Is there an option to do this in config? Thanks...

You can exclude the stock by creating storage location MRP.
Create separate str location for project stock by MMSC.
In the material master of mrp 4 view, str location indicator - select Exclude str loc from mrp for new ie, project str loc.
Check your Plant & str location by checking Plant/ data view in material master whether you have excluded the correct str location which you have newly created.
When mrp run system exclude this str location.

Calculating opening and closing stocks at a plant (on specific dates)

Hi,
I am to develop an ABAP-report. On the selection screen, I'll have plant, material, and a date range (date_1 and date_2). The report should show opening stock on date_1, closing stock on date_2, and then there is more segregation based on movement types (along with both stock-quantity and stock-value). I am stuck at how-to's around calculating opening (and closing) stock on a particular date.
Secondly, transaction MB5B has 3 options : batch stock, valuated stock, special stock ... One of these options uses table MBEW and other uses table MARD ... Which (all) tables will I need to use so as to get both stock-quantities and stock-values ?

MKOL Special Stocks from Vendor
MSKA Sales Order Stock
MSKU Special Stocks with Customer
MSLB Special Stocks with Vendor
MSPR Project Stock
you can get the Stokc filed from the tables.

MB5B views material stock

Dear Expert,
When I display MB5B for material xxxx with criteria :
- it's a special stock
- has batch number
- special stock indicator : orders on hand
- posting date : blank
MB5B shows the date of 01.01.0000 with the stock 3000 kg.
it is impossible because in our plant initial balance is done on 2005-2006
Why it can happen?
anyone experience this problem?

I have followed the OSS notes 194788
Only enter the selection criteria which are required for the selection of the stock management unit for which the opening stock balance and closing stock should be determined.
In MB5B I key in selection criteria which are :
material number : xxxxxx
company code : 1000
plant : 1500
batch : xxxxxx
special stock indicator : orders on hand
selection date : 01.08.2009 to current date
stock type :special stock
and the result comes out :
there is initial balance of 3000 kg on 01.08.2009 - INCORRECT ( our team never enter this initial balance but still came out )
therefore the stock of current date also WRONG
if the total stock is adjusted using stock take , the accounting journal will be created, and reduce the financial asset with the same amount of 3000 kg (WRONG EFFECT)
how to solve this issue without affecting the accounting journal ?

Stock Overview per plant wise/Storage location wise

is there any transaction or report to get Stock overview plantwise/ storagelocationwise ... except MMBE it gives particular material.. i want per particular plant or storage location total materials stock.
I want stock report similar to MMBE it gives available stock per single material in a palnt but my requirement to print available stock per all materials in a given material along with storagelocation wise/batch wise and total quantity.

There's quite a lot you can do in Logistics Info Systems to report on stocks across multiple materials.
Other than that, it depends on what you really want to show - stock that's physically present (e.g. including vendor-owned consignment), stock that you own (e.g. including customer consignment or toll manufacturers' stocks); do you want to show quantities (doesn't usually make much sense for more than one material, of course, due to varying units of measure) or values, etc.
Some of these data are quite expensive to read from a runtime perspective, in particular the "special" stocks (e.g. consignment).
You also have to consider that stock you own but that's not physically present on site (e.g. customer consignment), or GR blocked stock, usually is not assigned to a storage location.
If you give me some more info about what you're actually trying to achieve, I may be able to help you better.

T-code for getting consumptions / usage on special stock Q materials?

I am facing an issue: special stock Q is not included in all T-codes that I know for getting the consumptions / usage over a period.
--> MC.9, MCBE etc.. are all not showing any results for those kind of materials.
I found the explanation: it's depending on special stock valuation indicator (Blank, A or M), and only A permits to see the consumptions with MCxx T-codes, which is not the one used in the plant I'm currently working in (M)
Since this valuation indicator is a FICO defined parameter, I cannot make it changed to be able to check those materials usage.
Anyone has a tip or know a way to get usage on special stock Q materials?

Unfortunately MMBE is a snapshot of stock level and reservations by storage location on a single material, and does not display the consumption over a predefined period.
I am still looking for any solution that works with special stock Q materials.
