View the TO labels
How can we view the TO labels ? Is there is any way to see the TO labels in the spool requests ?
Is it possible to create a custom mov type inorder to receive the materials from the production line to Whse with out updating it in IM level.Because We have a WIP product receiving from production as a semifinished material. The WIP product has certain steps to become as a finished product.So while receiving it as a semi finished product for each step the product code is same.So inorder to hide this WIp product from MRP we are receiving it in WM level,whenever we receiving it as a finished product the product code is changed.
If it is possibe Let me know How to do it?
Thanks in advance
Karthik
Regarding TOs -You can see the TO in the spool using tcode SP01. For this make sure the spool code is set to save a copy of the TO. This can be done in OMLV -- Spool Code tab. Make sure 'Delete after printing' is unchecked.
Regarding the other issue I don't think you can do anything at movement type level. You may want to research on material type. May be using a custom material type in which the quantity update is not allowed, might help. This is just a thought.

How to dynamically hide the Field Label in the overview page's form view?
Hi Experts,
How to dynamically hide, for certain condition, the Field Label in the overview page's form view?
Please reply me.
Regards,
VishalHi Vishal,
It is not possible to dynamically hide/display fields if the UI is build using configurations.
The work around is to have multiple configurations, and based on the condition, load the
corresponding configuration at runtime.
The other approach is to code the complete htm view(htm coding) without using the configuration provided by the framework.

I entered new fields in a form that was created last year to update it. However, now when I view the responses, the headings are listed as Column 1, Column 5, etc. rather than the name of the heading. Can you please help?
Hi Mike,
CRSE is an OEM Product and for use with a custom application they have written. Unfortunately we don't their reports or how they are connecting, it would appear they were originally built off a SQL and then set to a Dataset in the app or they could be adding the data source at runtime. Lots of variations and without access to the source code to see what they are doing not much we can help you with.
You need to contact the OEM Partner for help in resolving this and find out what you can and need to do to update your SP and work with their canned reports,
Thank you

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:
{ sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR..; sudo chown -R $UID:staff ~ $_; sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~ $_; chmod -R -N ~ $_; } 2>&-
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if it frightens you, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password dialog will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
In the dialog, select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if it's not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if it's not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select
▹ Restart
from the menu bar. -
How can i change the column label text in a alv table display
how can i change the column label text in a alv table display??
A similar kinda of question was posted previuosly where the requirement was the label text was needed and following below code was given as solution :
<i>* declare column, settings, header object
DATA: lr_column TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_column.
DATA: lr_column_settings TYPE REF TO if_salv_wd_column_settings.
DATA: lr_column_header type ref to CL_SALV_WD_COLUMN_HEADER.
get column by specifying column name.
lr_column = lr_column_settings->get_column( 'COLUMN_NAME1' ).
set Header Text as null
lr_column_header = lr_column->get_header( ).
lr_column_header->set_text( ' ' ).</i>
My specific requirement is i have an input field on the screen and i want reflect that value as the column label for one of the column in the alv table. I have used he above code with slight modification in the MODIFYVIEW method of the view since it is a process after input. The component gets activated without any errors but while run time i get an error stating
<i>"The following error text was processed in the system CDV : Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible."</i>
i have checked in debugging and the error occured at the statement :
<i>lr_column = lr_column_settings->get_column( 'CURRENT_YEAR' ).</i>Please can you provide me an alternative for my requirement or correct me if i have done it wrong.
Thanks,
SuriI found it myself how to do it. The error says that it is not able to find the reference object i.e it is asking us to refer to the table. The following piece of code will solve this problem. Have to implement this in WDDOMODIFYVIEW method of the view. This thing works comrades enjoy...
DATA : lr_cmp_usage TYPE REF TO if_wd_component_usage,
lr_if_controller TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table,

DATA: lr_column_header TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_column_header.
DATA: lr_column_settings TYPE REF TO if_salv_wd_column_settings.
Get the entered value from the input field of the screen
node_year = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'IMPORTING_NODE' ).
elem_year = node_year->get_element( ).
elem_year->get_attribute(
EXPORTING

value = L_IMPORT_PARAM ).
WRITE L_IMPORT_PARAM TO lf_string.
Get the reference of the table
lr_cmp_usage = wd_this->wd_cpuse_alv( ).
IF lr_cmp_usage->has_active_component( ) IS INITIAL.
lr_cmp_usage->create_component( ).
ENDIF.
lr_if_controller = wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv( ).
lr_column_settings = lr_if_controller->get_model( ).
get column by specifying column name.
IF lr_column_settings IS BOUND.
lr_column = lr_column_settings->get_column( 'COLUMN_NAME').
set Header Text as null
lr_column_header = lr_column->get_header( ).
lr_column_header->set_text( lf_string ).

Unable to view the contents in NQS Config file
Hi Forum,
After I successfully install the OBI EE 10.1.3 Application, I am unable to view the contents in NQS Config file. It is opening in Notepad with error showing as "The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect."
So please guide me in resolving this issue.

Cool jYou probably have restricted access to the file. Check if the drive is ntfs. If the os user is in administrator group, you can give permissions in file properties.

How to view the source code of JavaFx component ?
Hi everybody,
I just want to know if it's possible to view the source code of the component Button (from JavaFx) and how to do it ?
In fact, I don't really understand if JavaFx is entirely open source ?
Thanks.I lack time right now to experiment, but I think you can get your goal just with CSS.
Here are the variables I found for Button:
Button
borderFill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = (null)
button: class javafx.scene.control.Button = Button
colorBrightness: Float = 0.8156863
cornerRadius: Float = 7.0
fill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = (null)
focusFill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = javafx.scene.paint.Color[red=0,green=147,blue=255,opacity=1.0]
focusSize: Float = 1.4
highlightFill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = (null)
label: class javafx.scene.control.Label = LabeledImpl [id=-Label]
paddingBottom: Float = 4.0
paddingLeft: Float = 10.0
paddingRight: Float = 10.0
paddingTop: Float = 4.0
shadowFill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = (null)
textFill: class javafx.scene.paint.Paint = (null)
textFont: class javafx.scene.text.Font = Font[name=Verdana, family=Verdana, style=, size=11.0]Try changing cornerRadius and focusFill/highlightFill, etc. Note that some discovered properties are not affected by CSS... Perhaps that's why there isn't an official doc about CSS styling currently. -

View customization filed label change
Hi,
Iam facing some problem with view customization. I copied the standard view and changed the field properties like label. I assigned the configuration key to business role. When i test the application it searching for assigned customized configuration key, but it found only default. I could not see the lable change.
I don't know why system picking up only default( standardone)?. Why it is not picking custom one.**
appreciate your help.
Thanks
SavanHi
You should not change the field label names as what are defined by SAP. There are lot of other options available. You may choose to use one of the following BADI for enhancing vendor master data
VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS
VENDOR_ADD_DATA
VENDOR_ADD_DATA_BI
Refer also SAP Note 580266 for use of these BADI to enhance/add fields as per your requirements in Vendor Master

View all script labels and find an object by its script label
Hello,
I have an InDesign document in which many objects get a script label. I know how to view and edit the script label of an object, but is it possible to:
1 - See a list of all the script labels of the document (as can be done with the styles for example)?
2 - Search an object in the document by its script label?If you are using OSX this AppleScript displays a list of document labels:
global labels
set labels to []
tell application "Adobe InDesign CS6"
set x to every page item of active document
repeat with i in x
if class of i is group then
my checkGroup(i)
else
my getLabel(i)
end if
end repeat
display dialog labels as string
end tell
on checkGroup(g)
tell application "Adobe InDesign CS6"
set gi to all page items of g
repeat with a in gi
if class of a is group then
my checkGroup(a)
else
my getLabel(a)
end if
end repeat
end tell
end checkGroup
on getLabel(pageitem)
tell application "Adobe InDesign CS6"
if label of pageitem is not "" and label of pageitem is not in labels then
set labels to labels & label of pageitem
end if
end tell
end getLabel -
Files that used to be visible are now hidden in Mavericks 10.9.1. How can I change the setting to view the same files as before? I do not need the hidden files that are typically invisible.
I am having trouble locating such files as PDF's INDD, AI etc. When I view all hidden files and try to open it in the program..it looks like it is really not on the drive. Has anyone come across a solution?You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this,boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type: ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.

[SOLVED] How to view the *exact* name of the currently running kernel?
Perhaps this question will seem dumb, but here goes : I have two kernels installed :
[ruben@arch ~]$ yaourt -Q linux
core/linux 3.2.9-1 (base)
[ruben@arch ~]$ yaourt -Q linux-ck-kx
repo-ck/linux-ck-kx 3.2.11-1 (ck-kx)
Grub’s menu.lst is configured to boot linux-ck-kx :
# general configuration:
timeout 5
default 2
color light-blue/black light-cyan/blue
# (0) Arch Linux
title Arch Linux
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
initrd /boot/kernel26.img
# (1) Arch Linux Fallback
title Arch Linux Fallback
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
initrd /boot/kernel26-fallback.img
# (2) Arch Linux CK-KX
title Arch Linux CK-KX
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
initrd /boot/initramfs-linux-ck.img
# (3) Arch Linux CK-KX Fallback
title Arch Linux CK-KX Fallback
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
initrd /boot/initramfs-linux-ck-fallback.img
And yet, I see no mention of *-ck-kx when issuing this comand :
[ruben@arch ~]$ uname -a
Linux arch 3.2.9-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 1 09:31:13 CET 2012 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
It does not matter whether I change the default kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst : I can set it to “ 0 ” or “ 2 ” and reboot, and the output of “ uname -a ” will always be exactly the same as above ; no mention of *ck-kx even though I know it is running.
I searched the web on how to view the name of the running kernel, all results I found said to use uname, so is there another command I am missing here ? Or is it normal that both my kernels yield the same uname output ?
Just curious, because I was playing around with kexec, and when doing “ fake ” reboots, I was alternating between the normal ARCH-kernel and the ck-kx*kernel, and I wanted to be sure that it actually worked, so I checked everytime with uname, and since I saw no difference in the outputs, I assumed kexec wasn’t working like it should, so I did a “ real ” reboot, but same uname outputs… So I must be missing something…
Here are the kexec commands I used, just to be sure I am doing this properly :
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo kexec -l --append="`cat /proc/cmdline`" --initrd=/boot/initramfs-linux-ck.img /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo init 6
and :
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo kexec -l --append="`cat /proc/cmdline`" --initrd=/boot/initramfs-linux.img /boot/vmlinuz-linux
[ruben@arch ~]$ sudo init 6
Thoughts ?

Hmm worksforme:

One question for you litemotiv : do you have two kernels currently installed on your system, like I do, or did you uninstall the ARCH-kernel ? I ask because I might try this :
$ sudo pacman -Rns linux
and reboot, and see what happens…
But before I do that, might as well try to debug it ;
t1nk3r3r wrote:I would point the finger at GRUB, or something occuring near boot-time.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Boot_Debugging
So I tried the “ Heavy Debug ” option, rebooted, then issued “ dmesg > dmesg.txt ” ; here are the first few lines of that file :
[ 0.000000] Initializing cgroup subsys cpuset
[ 0.000000] Initializing cgroup subsys cpu
[ 0.000000] Linux version 3.2.9-1-ARCH (tobias@T-POWA-LX) (gcc version 4.6.2 20120120 (prerelease) (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 1 09:31:13 CET 2012
[ 0.000000] Command line: root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
and the complete dmesg output is here. I am no expert at reading debuggin output, but from the above, it seems like the default ARCH-kernel is being booted, even though my menu.lst hasn’t changed from my previous post (exept for the debugging options) :
# general configuration:
timeout 5
default 0
color light-blue/black light-cyan/blue
# (0) Arch Linux CK-KX
title Arch Linux CK-KX
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro rootdelay=5 panic=10 debug ignore_loglevel
initrd /boot/initramfs-linux-ck.img
# (1) Arch Linux CK-KX Fallback
title Arch Linux CK-KX Fallback
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux-ck root=/dev/disk/by-label/archroot ro
initrd /boot/initramfs-linux-ck-fallback.img
I want the ck-kernel to boot, what it going on here ? Any more thoughts ? -

I think it's a problem with DVDs. Not sure how to check integrity of DVDs?
-HansalHansal,
md5sum will verify the integrity of the stage area directory but not the integrity of the CDs/DVDs.
To check the contents of the Media Pack, try to view the contents of the DVD itself (use ls command).
If downloading files from https://edelivery.oracle.com/ website is not an option for you then you may need to log a SR and ask Oracle support to send you another Media Pack.
Thanks,
Hussein
