View video file on iPad 2

Sorry to ask this stupid question, after sync a converted mp4 video file from my PC via iTune to my device how can I view that video file from the device ? I don't see the Video icon from the home screen on my iPad 2

Not sure if you are looking for the movie itself or the video app - but I think you are looking for the actual movie. The movie icon will not be on the home screen. The movie itself may be in the Photos app if you synced from iTunes. Look there. The other place for videos is in the video app.
If you are looking for the video app it may be on another screen. You can swipe from screen to screen to try and find it. Look in your folders as well if you have any.
You can swipe to the right from the home screen to bring up the search feature. Enter the name of the movie in the text field and search for the movie, if it shows up - tap it to begin playing the movie ..... Assuming that the movie is in the correct format. I know nothing about the formats.
One last thing that you can do to restore the video app to the home screen is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This should put the video app back on the home screen but it will also restore the home screen to the out of the box layout.

  • Unable to view video files in browser :[

Does anyone know why Safari is unable to view video files in the browser ??? I used to be able to view .mpg video files right in the browser and when viewing .wmv files Safari would open up Windows Media Player which would then play the file. I really dug that feature. Now when clicking on a .mpg video file, Safari simply downloads the file to my HD and that's it. Is there an easy fix for this issue ??? Hello !!! Anybody ???

Tell the QuickTime plug-in to play the file inside a browser window.
Open System Preferences/QuickTime and click the Advanced tab. Click the MIME Settings button and then put a check mark in MPEG media.
Quit and relaunch your browser for these changes to take effect.

  • Which software I should install to view video file AVI format on my Imac?

Which software I should install to view video file AVI format on my Imac?

It's hard to say. AVI doesn't exactly describe how the video was encoded. AVI is a package that contains the video content.
However, VLC can play just about anything. That's the first thing I'd try.

  • Viewing video files.

Hi, I want to use  the airport extreme to hook up and external usb hard drive, can I view video files on my apple TV ?

Yes, if they're streamed from an iTunes library via Home Sharing. To specify an iTunes library on it, launch iTunes with the Option key held down(Mac OS X) or Shift key(Windows).

  • How can clients view video file that I upload to my Creative Cloud area?

How can clients view video files that I upload to my Creative Cloud area?  Is there a special password that they have to use to gain access?
    Thanks for any guidance.
    Dave

As a video professional, i agree and am VERY disappointed with this policy.  I attended CC presentations at various conventions, film festivals and meetups for a year-and-a-half before I made the leap to CC, and no one EVER mentioned a restriction to transferring video files.
Whether it's to save storage space or not, that's how it APPEARS to the end user.  Anybody who knows ANYthing about how video pirates commit their crime (which it most-certainly is), knows that there are plenty of FREE, untraceable (or nearly-anonymous) resources to carry it out.  The need for anyone to pay $30 or more per-month to do it with an acct that has their info attached to it is ludicrous!  If anything it's CONTRIBUTING to piracy to encourage creatives to transfer their material to collaborative parties using a less-secure, more heavily-trafficked third-party service than the one they're paying for exclusive use for.
Adobe's policy makers need to review this restriction and remove it or provide ANOTHER reason why it exists because this one doesn't fly.  And if it continues, make sure a disclaimer gets inserted in CC pitch presentations because likely half of the attendees are working with video.

  • How to view .mov files on ipad

I use my iPad to store both jpg and mov files directly from my camera when on the road. I would like to be able to view the .mov files on iPad without the use of a computer. Is this possible?

  • How to view flash files on iPad

Can you view flash files on the IPad?

A browse through the forums would have shows tens of hundreds of posts related to flash.
The short answer however, is No, iOS does not support it and never will.  There are alternatives though, which have been detailed several times over in other threads.

  • Viewing video streams on iPad

Can someone assist me on how to view video steams on my iPad that require adobe flash player....whenever I try I get a message that apple products do not support adobe flash player, yet on my husbands Mac he can view these videos.

That's right. There is Flash player for OS X (on the Mac) but not for iOS (on the iphone, ipod, and ipad). For some reasons, read this:
    http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
What streams are you trying to view? Some will have apps that let you see them in a different format.

  • Video files in iPad

I am creating an application for iPad, and I need to add video files to this application, but it doesn't work

What you'r using flvcomponent? or StageWebView to load video with the ipad native player? below is the screenshot to attach the video while packaging your ios:
If you used flvcomponent then you also need to load skin here, but may be skin swf will not work if internally compiled with a script.

  • ITunes Misread My Video File on iPad 2

    hello everyone,
today i'm trying to sync my ipad with my laptop. mine is iPad 2 32GB 3G+Wifi with the latest iOS which is obviously 7.1.2. i'm trying to sync it to my itunes ver. 11.4.0.18 which is the latest version.
but when i syncing it, i noticed that my itunes misread my ipad video file. it said that i have at least 2.96 gigs with 26 files, but the truth is i don't store any video in my ipad at all at the moment.
there it is. i screenshot it directly from my ipad.i don't really watch videos on ipad however. i wonder why is this happening?as long as i concern, i've installed the latest itunes, i've updated my ipad to the latest software. and i'm
    looking forward for your help.

    Hi Fahmip91,
If you are having an unexpected report of video syncing to your iPad, but aren't seeing anything under the Videos app, you may want to check and make sure that syncing is unchecked under both the TV and Movies tabs in iTunes, as well as the music videos option under Music. You may find the following article helpful:

If you are still seeing a mismatch with the data, you may want to try the steps under Resolution in the following article (it is aimed at a different, but somewhat similar, data reporting issue):
