Viewer customization doubt

Hai can anyone help me?
I have lengthy report containing 1000s of Records in it..
When i disply this report in viewer,i have to use horizontal scroll bar of IE to view the lengthy report,which will in turn display long page ofit.
But,My requirement is,i want to display the length report in singe page itself..
But plz somebody reply me for this query..its urgent.

Actually my requirement is horizontal extension..
because if i have 30columnes i cant compare the heading with column values..
I know the row adjustment setting for vertical extension..but dont know how to set for horizontal extension

View customization filed label change

Hi,
Iam facing some problem with view customization. I copied the standard view and changed the field properties like label. I assigned the configuration key to business role. When i test the application it searching for assigned customized configuration key, but it found only default. I could not see the lable change.
I don't know why system picking up only default( standardone)?. Why it is not picking custom one.**

Hi
You should not change the field label names as what are defined by SAP. There are lot of other options available. You may choose to use one of the following BADI for enhancing vendor master data
VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS
VENDOR_ADD_DATA
VENDOR_ADD_DATA_BI
Refer also SAP Note 580266 for use of these BADI to enhance/add fields as per your requirements in Vendor Master

Changes to master data objects must be captured for the For compliance purposes. The auditor allows you to be able to view and print an audit log of changes to master data objects for a chosen period. It is very common for external auditors to focus on what has changed from one year or quarter to the next to help determine the nature, extent, and population for testing. To configure and access your audit log, perform the actions listed with each of the following utilities.
Audit Trail is used to track the record changes.
The report RPUAUD00 gives all the changes done to the masterdata by any user anytime.
But, before using this audit trial, please ensure that the system hardware is well equipped as the audit trials activation would later become a performance issue as this would occupy a lot of space in the coming time.

Customize Toolbar not constantly working, have tried Safari View Customize Toolbar to no avail. Thnx in advance.r... Drag your favorite item into the toolbar...

Customize Toolbar has been very "hit & miss" lately, attempts to add Google Search are failing. I am using "Safari>View>Customize Toolbar> Drag" with little success.
Any suggestions appreciated, thankx in advance.

Ah - I read your initial question as to how to set Google as the search engine, rather than not having the Search field present in the Toolbar.
First, make sure Show Toolbar is set in Safari's View menu - if it is set to show, it will state "Hide Toolbar" instead and you need not change that.
Then, also in the View menu, choose the item "Customize Toolbar...".
Click on the representation of that item (circled below) and drag it to the right end of the Toolbar, between the Address box and the edge of the window. A position marker should appear, at which time you can release it.

Projects view customization

Hi All ,
I have a requirement to customize the Projects LOV on timecard to display only those projects owned by the organization in which the employee works . I am planning to customize the PA_ONLINE_PROJECTS_V for this req.
However ,I have few questions reg. this
1) Is this customization safe from any future patches/upgrades ?
2) Following is my query for the cusotmized view

In the above query it brings up only those projects realted to organization on the employee's assignment record . This is fine if employee enters timecard , but if the timekeeper wants to change the employee timecard . I am not sure , if this approach will work /not . Can someone share their experience with regards to this customization .

Aperture 2.1.4 with Snow Leopard opens but unable to customize toolbar. Nothing happens when I select view/customize.

Installed 2.1.4 on an iMac with 3GB Ram using 10.6.8 OSX.
Experiencing two problems for now.
1. Attempts to customize toolbar has no response. The boxes appear but no screen with the tools to import.
2. I did the standard install over AP 1.5 and all library photos for 1.5 appear in 2.1.4 but
when opening a project/folder picture it will open and the "Loading" message appears but the wheel is not moving?
I'm using 2.1 over 3.0 because I have it and not ready to spend more until I get this working. I plan to go to LION OSX
once Aperture functons correctly.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Updated to snow leopard and had the same problem that when the thumbnails where placed on the bottom I could only scroll left or right when no picture was marked... so I placed the thumbnails to the left side and scrolling worked normally even with a a marked picture...I also had bad color sync problems and switching screens would cause my windows to become almost black and unreadable..... I reinstalled my Leopard clone drive shortly there after... oh well... it took a while before leopard was ready for professional use.... I didn't really expect Snow leopard to be different... I will check back in at 10.6.4 or so LOL

Asynchronous update and View customization

Hello!
I faced with an issue: I have a custom view of the some list with about 9 columns with long header title. For best viewing in properties of header cells we unchecked No Wrap option. And that view became looks good. After that we enabled Asynchronous update
option with refresh interval, and after that action my view in browser was looking like I don`t unchecked No Wrap option. But when I open that view in SP Designer for editing it looks properly, instead browser.
When I disable Asynchronous update my view became looks properly (with word wrapping in header cell). Can you advise to something to help me solving this issue.

See you can develop reports of fetch it from standard transactions.
Also for your info, you can fetch it from tables. Ir you run tables like VBRK, VBRP by entering revelant data you can find the previous as well as current sales data.
For finding returns sales data, you need to pass the necessary return document type (returns memo etc) in the above said tables.

3rd party tags and design view customization

I know that Dreamweaver allows me to replace third party tags
with images in design view. My question is can I make my jsp widget
tags look dependent on attributes of that tag?
And why can’t I say that my <widget:suggestionBox
… size=”10” /> should look like a <input
size=”10” /> in design view?
Are there plans to support this long overlooked functionality

Of course DW works nicely with xsl in design view. My problem

Calculations and crosstab view customization

i am a beginner at olapi and BI beans. i am trying to understand if we can use bi beans to meet our users requirements. i have some questions here.
1. lets take sales measure. i'd like to define new measure or calculation that shows difference from january-2001. and i'd like to get something like this:

How could i achieve it with bi beans.
I'd prefer to avoid coding (using DML or olapi). i think it would be better to give users a tool to build such things.
2.How can hide some rows/columns in the crosstab.
For example i drill down to month but i want to hide data from all of them except january and december.
3.I looked through bi beans api and i found out that for example Query class implements 18 interfaces!!! Isn't something wrong with it? It seems to me that olapi and bi beans are a bit awkward.

regarding your calculations: eithe do it in the base deta or use the calculation bulder to achieve what you want (no need for dml/olapi coding)
for the suppresions: well just use the features of the querybuilder, especially the "add/remove/keep" choice you are offered: this way you can do this very easily. another way is based on scoping:thus data only visible based on group/single access
interface:whats wrong ? its due to java: you can derive from a single class, but are able to implement several interfaces ;)

How do I customize the toolbar if I've removed the "view" tab from the toolbar?

I was trying to customize my toolbar while working in excel and accidentally removed all of the tabs along the top toolbar (File, Edit, View, etc). I can't figure out how to put them back as all of the help threads begin with "go to the View tab".

I think I'm understanding what you did.
You will need to start in the Excel menu bar at the very top of your screen. The one with the  in the far left corner. Find the View menu there. It should be three over from the  icon.
Click View > Customize Toolbars and Menus...
When the Customize Toolbars and Menus window opens, click the Toolbars and Menus tab, then make sure the checkbox next to Standard is checked.
That should return the display of your toolbar when you close that customize window.

ITunes 11 - How do you Sort by Genre then Artist? Other General Customizations

Maybe somebody else knows how to do this, if so please post it. I am really disappointed in iTunes ever since version 10 I think, where they majorly revamped the whole look for it. No, I am not one of those people who are opposed to change and are slow to adapt when changes are made to applications either. I just feel these new changes majorly suck.
So I am using version 11, the latest one. Apple has made it so uncustomizable that it is ridiculous. Correct me if I am wrong in saying this, that you can’t do any of this stuff anymore. When I open iTunes I like to be able to select Genres and then have the music within the Genre sorted by artist. I don’t see how you can do this anymore. Now when you click on Genre there is no longer an option to sort anything. Everything is sorted by CD Name and you aren’t allowed to sort it any other way. Seriously, who really knows the name of every CD they own, especially when you have several 100 CDs?
So if I want to view my music by artist I have to select Artists, which that lists all artists (regardless of genre). I hate this because then it is harder to find the exact artist you are looking for because the list is that much longer and you are scrolling through a ton more artists just to get to the one you are looking for. Yes, I already know there is a search library feature. I also like viewing the artist by Genre because it is easier to determine if the newly added CD was placed in the correct Genre. I know some people just add music and don’t care where it is placed or how it is organized, but I like to keep it all organized. I even have it organized on my computer by folders Genres, folders Artists, and then folders CDs.
This is the same for viewing your Playlists. You used to be able to select your playlists and then view a specific genre within that playlist. From there I could sort the playlist however I wanted, like by artists, and then CD. I have several playlists that have more than one genre in it. With this new version you can’t view your playlist by genre, you can only view all of the songs within the playlist.
I also liked in the old version how you could view the number of songs in each genre. Well, you can still do this once you click on the genre, but there isn’t an overview anymore. Like in the old version it would list all the genres and then in a caption underneath each genre it would show how many songs and different artists are in each genre. There was no need to go into each individual genre to view this information. You could also view the number of songs in each genre within each playlist as well. The playlist thing has been removed altogether. Now you can only view how many songs are in the playlist, regardless of genre.
The new version does have a few tiny benefits, like easily being able to see what playlist(s) a particular song is in by right clicking on a song and then selecting Show in Playlists. I however, don’t feel the tiny tweaks outweigh the view customizable benefits of previous versions. These new tweaks could have easily been added to the older versions without disabling the customizable view settings.

I had a similar problem: I wanted to synch my playlist to my iphone. I like to have my playlist sorted by genre. But under each genre, albums are not sorted by the track numbers. This is a problem, especially when I am listening to club mixes when the DJ smoothly transitions from 1 track sequentially to the next one. Under the properties of each audio file, the Track Numbers and Disc Numbers are already there.
My perfect solution was to turn On Sorting - Sort Album under View>Show View Options. Then, select all the songs in that album (Shift click, Cmd click, etc) , and Edit multiple item information (Cmd I). You will see Info-Video-Sorting-Options buttons. Click on Sorting. Then, under Sort Album, Enter the name of the album. Then OK.
You should now have the playlist sorted by Genre, then each album individually sorted by track numbers. On your playlist you should see, if you scroll right, the column added called "Sort Album".

I can no longer customize the TOOLBAR in PAGES

It won't allow me to drag and drop the way that it used to.
I have no idea why - maybe I changed something without realizing...?

If you are using Pages 5.2.2 it should be Menu > View > Customize Toolbar ... then drag whatever is listed into the actual toolbar.
