Viewer Help - Can't get a Centered Preview

Dear Users,
I have mistakenly modified my Aperture settings and my previews are no longer centered in the viewer.
Only in when I view the pics. in full screen can I see the complete image, otherwise the viewer is showing the left half of the image.
I'm sure there is any easy solution but I cannot find in the manual or settings how I caused this to happen, any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem that previews are not at the center of the viewer which is not caused by "zoon to actual size". I shall be grateful if you can share the solution.

Still Can't Get Page Centered

I have been reading instructions and watching uTube videos and I've done what they said and for the life of me I can't get my page centered on the screen. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

Help - can't get the pop-up memu to show

i have the new macbook pro, but i am new to itunes. i just plugged in the hk sticks as an external speakers. but i can't get the itunes to play the music off my usb speakers. i have followed the help directions and in the advanced tab of the preference menu, i have checked "look for remote speakers connected with Airtunes." i still see no pop-up menu. my neighbor who also has a mac has no idea why i can't see it.
please help.

I believe you need to choose the speakers in System Preferences. To do this-
System Preferences- Sound- Output- and select your usb audio device
You are using the MBP so I can't say for sure that evrything will work this way because of interface issues, but it should. If not try posting this in the MacBook Pro pages.

Tv screen view frozen can't get to menu

My Apple TV is showing a frozen view of 1/2 a screen picture and the rest lines. I can reset the Apple but can never get the picture off the screen to see the menu. Have tried reset, unplugging and factory restore and still have same view on tv screen. Any ideas what to do next?

Transfer your iTunes folder (which contains your entire iTunes library) from your old PC to your new PC. On Windows, your iTunes folder is in the “My Music” folder. Place it in the same location on your new PC and quit iTunes before making the transfer. You will also need to authorize your new computer with iTunes with your iTunes account.
Syncing contact information and calendar events is done by iTunes with the supported application on your computer, but is not stored by iTunes.
You can sync contact info and calendar events with Outlook 2003 or 2007, or contact info with the Address Book used by Outlook Express with XP, or with the Address Book used by Windows Mail with Vista - the name change for Outlook Express with Vista.
Before syncing contact info with the supported application on your new computer, enter one contact in the address book on your computer. Make one up if needed. If you are syncing with Outlook 2003 or 2007, do the same with a calendar event.
This will provide a merge prompt when syncing this data, which you want to select.
Any photos transferred from your old computer to your iPhone need to be transferred from your old computer to your new computer.

How can I get the application "Preview" back? I tried using both the cds that were given and I googled it and it still doesn't work. I still have "Preview" but its corrupted so it doesn't let me open any pics or anything. What can I do?

It also won't delete off my computer for me to try downloading it again. I don't know what to do.

Download this shareware program, it will allow you to "peek" inside the pkg and dmg files of your OS X installer disk that comes with the computer so your can replace the copy of Preview with a new one.

and it might not be your Preview program itself, rather the preference file it uses.
Look in your "username"/Library/Preferences folder for these three files and move them to your desktop, reboot and relaunch Preview

They get rebuilt automatically. Check to see, if so and everything is fine, then Trash the 3 files on the desktop

Can I get a fluid preview of stabilized shot ?

I'm replacing parts of videos in premiere timeline with version stabilized in AE, but in AE I can't see a fluid preview, is there a way to pre-render the stabilized video before going back to Premiere ?
Ram preview works only for the last few seconds, I need a complete real preview of the stabilized shot to shorten the workflow...

Computer has crash,need someone t help-. can't get anything on screen

My computer went out Friday, telling me it is due to firefox crashing. I can get absolutely nothing on my screen. I need my computer for work as well as personal, I need it restored yesterday. I did all that appeared in the pop ups, sent all the reports, etc. Nothing. Will someone please call me to guide me in the restoring of my computer. I'm at XX awaiting your call. Until you get the computer working you will not be able to sort out Firefox.
When you do get the computer working you will be able to attempt to get crash IDs.
You can use another browser if necessary to obtain crash IDs
* see [[firefox crashes]] and [[firefox will not start]]
As for sorting out the computer problems, that is not really on topic for this site, and what you need to do will depend on your OS. You may have safe mode type startup options on the computer.

Help Can;t Get My DA

Hello,?I have a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen XTRA(40GB) Mp3 player and I have ran into a big problem. I went ahead and backed up alot of my data from my computer to the mp3 player and now for some reason when I try to open all my data in nomad explorer it takes like 3 minutes for all of it to actually open in nomad explorer and when i try to click on anything it takes atleast 45 seconds for it to actually select it and when i try to move it from my mp3 player to my computer I get a message saying: unable to read Jukebox or something along teh lines of that how can I get my files back

1) Have you had this problem before? It may be connection issues if you have.
2) Try signing out, and if you're on a windows PC (while signed out,) navigate to %appdata% and try deleting your skype data. Usually this is the solution that works for me.
This will temporarily (about 5-10 minutes) delete your contacts and sorta refresh your skype.

Also how can you get an image preview in the video section

The music videos you buy in iTunes come with a preview that is displayed. I tried capturing an image with VLC, then converting it to a JPEG. But the when I "get info" and try and drop or paste the image it won't allow me. Any Tips?

To set "poster frame"
-Play video in iTunes
-Click on video so it brings up a 2nd window (its own window)
-Locate the "frozen picture" by pausing. You can manually shift through the whole video by using slider.
-When you have your picture, right click, and choose "set poster frame".

A lot of characters missing from "Character Viewer" .. can I get them?

Most musical symbols show an empty box.

Could I've erased them? With CleanMyMac maybe?

Character Viewer isn't doing what I want it to do, can somebody help me?
Here's the issue: I have a font installed called Anastasia, which contains musical symbols. I would like to be able to bring up its whole character set on the screen so I can pick which character to insert in my document. It seems to me that this is what Character Viewer is intended to do; however, I can find no way to view the character set for this particular font, Anastasia. The "Muscial Symbols" collection brings up a limited set of symbols, such as notes, but it's an incomplete set and it does not show Anastasia as one of the available font variations. This font is definitely installed and at least one of my installed apps uses it routinely. But it doesn't seem to be accessible through Character Viewer. What am I doing wrong?

New User need help, can't get installation completed

Got my new iPod, 30 gig, color, photo, etc last week. Put in disk to install software. It stopped during the middle of installation so removed disk and found it was scratched big time (I'm sure it was something I did). So, I went to website and downloaded the iPod user update 2005-11-17. Got it loaded and restored. Rebooted computer and all I get on my iPod screen is the "Do not disconnect". I uninstalled iPod software and did the installation, restored again and same thing. I have to think there is an easy solution to this, but I've read everything I can find and no answers. It would be SO nice if Apple had a customer service I could call as I'm sure I'm doing something wrong (and stupid). Anyone have any ideas? I got the iPod from frequent points with my credit card company, so can't take it back to local retailer. Please help, I want it to work so bad! LOL Thanks!

Please try the following :-
1. Eject your iPod from your computer
2. Press "select"+"menu" keys for reset, hold the keys until you see the Apple logo
3. Uninstall the iPod updater and iTunes by Add/Removal software
4. Downloand the iTune6 and iPod updater from apple.com again
5. Install both of the softwares
6. Open the iPod updater and wait until it asks you plug your iPod
7. Connect your iPod
8. Click the Restore on iPod updater

Help: Can't get calendar invitations to appear on my icloud calendar

Hi,
I have the specific setup:
1. icloud account (includes my itunes, calendar, reminders, contacts,...) configured with a username [email protected]
2. email using [email protected] through gmail account
Everytime someone sends me an invitation to my [email protected] address, I am not able to get the invitation directly at my calendar (it appears just as an email in my gmail account). Can you please help me solve this? I know it works because my girlfriend account is exactly the same and it works for her

tired that as well no difference. very weird. really don't get it. Doesn't work with my iphone nor with ical or web icloud.
The invitation just goes directly to the @gmail account as an normal email and doesn't get into the cal app as an invitation. (ps. the person who's sending the invitation is sending it from ical)
