Viewer plays by default instead of Canvas

My Editor may have clicked on something by mistake and I don't know how to reset it.
Here's the problem: When she clicks on the Canvas after having played a clip in the Viewer, if she plays from the Spacebar, it will play the Viewer window only. To play the Canvas, she has to click on the Timeline first and then press Play. (If she clicks the Timeline first, and then the Canvas, the Canvas will play as normal. It's only after she clicks on the Viewer window first and then the Canvas that the Viewer window will play instead of the Canvas. Hope this description isn't confusing...)
I'm assuming this may have something to do with a Multicamera setting...

Well, silly FCP -- it was probably just a ghost in the machine. A restart fixed the 'glitch', however it was caused.
There you go, when in doubt, shut 'er down and start 'er back up!!!

Look to see where they are stored in iTunes. Most are downloaded and stored in iTunes U under library. Those should be shown in iTunes U which is a part of the iPod app on the iPad. I have had a couple that had bad data in the metadata and were classified as Movies and placed in Movies. When you try to print, use COMMAND P, it should bring up a window similar to this you can select the preset there. It shoud remember the preset after.

In GoLive CS (Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.4), I have a website with a page that has a plug-in with an mp3 file. When the page opens, the file plays by default. Is there a way for it not to play until you click to activate it?

didn't you have to create/configure the rules with acid/snort? It's no different with the csmars. It ships with some, yes...but you have to configure it to your needs. Hell, the thing is how many signatures back from the Cisco IPS?...every one of those signatures it doesn't understand requires you own custom rule if you plan to do anything with the alarms.

Dropped frames when playing section in the timeline w/audio, Viewer plays fine. Plays for 1 sec, no sound, nothing on audio meters. Problem out the blue, made no conscious changes. FCP 7.0.3. iMac, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5. OS10.8.4. Thanx.

The other footage I have on the timeline is an mp3 file made in Garage Band and some footage I sent to Motion to edit. I do have some offline media on there since I switched computers but FCP had been working fine for a few months with it on there. I have not tried trashing my FCP Preferences. If I did would I have to back up my project?

Bird's Eye View enabled by default

Hi all,
is there a way to have the bird's eye view enabled by default in the impact/lineage? I need to enable it everytime i do a impact/lineage analyse. It takes to much time before it pops up.
I know it's something not very important :) But it's anoying...

Is it possible to open a document in Preview and have it open to show thumbnails as the default instead of Content Only?

Making mac mail the default instead of entourage

How do you make mac mail your default instead of entourage . It is set up in mac mail reader to receive mail under mac mail 2.1. It still defaults to entourage . I cannot find any place in entourage to change it .

Your default mail program is set in Mail->Preferences->General. Choose which program you want from the drop-down menu, then quit Mail and restart it.
Of course, you'd be helping yourself if you deleted Entourage or at least removed all your account information from it, so that if you ever launched it by accident, it would not be able to send or receive email.

In my case i have 3 views , but based on the user the default view will change EG : for manager first view is defalt view ,
for employee 2 view should be default .

Hi Chinnaiya,
You could use the FPM and it's ability to have "variants". Which variant is displayed is controlled by the FPM controller class. So you could put your logic there to decide the variant. You could then configure the variants to use the different screens.
This would have the nice added benefit of having a similar look and feel to all the other new WD ABAP ESS/MSS apps.
Alternatively you could just have your default view having a view container in it - then dynamically swapping the window that should be embedded in it at runtime.
ButI like the FPM solution better!
