Viewer window blank, but all scopes reading video information

This is a problem that I've just started having with Color. Granted, it's the first time I've used it since I had a new logic board and new video card installed, so I'm up for any explanation.
I am importing HDV files from FCP into Color, and everything shows up correctly except for the video in the viewer. There's nothing there. All scopes respond to the correct video data, but no video.
I've trashed prefs and tried several different render codecs, but no joy.
I've seen a few similar posts, but no satisfactory answers.
I appreciate any constructive suggestions.

SO - weird. I changed my monitor color profile back to the default (not DC P3 D55 neutral), and when color crashed (yeah ... still happens) it was working again after a relaunch! So apparently there is some sort of viewer space mapping that is going on in color (big fat guess here - just trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about for a minute) and I managed to choke it. Scopes were working fine all along, but not the display viewer. Hunh. Go figure. Learn something new every day - so:
change your monitor color preferences to a default color profile in the Apple System preferences and it should work again (I know a few others on CreativeCow have had this problem as well).

Windows installed but all files Read Only

Hi guys
I have just installed windows 7 on my macbook pro using bootcamp. Every seems to be working great except for all my files are read only. I go to properties uncheck read only apply it to the file and it fails because it needs administrator permissions. I have tried to change permissions to full control and it fails to apply it to any of the folders.
Any help would be much appreciated
I'm a pc! All the problems with windows xp, vista, 7 were my idea!

My iPod classic isn't recognized by iTunes. I plugged it in to update last night, but all music and videos were deleted from the iPod. Now when I plug the iPod into the USB for iTunes, it deosn't show up on the left side of the monitor. Any ideas why this

Crystal Report Viewer shows blank but exporting shows results

I'm getting a really strange issue when opening a report using the CrystalReportViewer class. The Crystal Report Viewer shows up nicely in my webpage....but the report is completely blank. When I click on the Export button in the Viewer & export to any format, the results show up nicely. Also when I right click on the Viewer page & view source, I can see all my report data there in Javascript....but for some reason it's just not being rendered on the page.
I'm using Crystal Reports 2008 & I believe I've added the necessary jars & also included the entire crystalreportviewers folder (with all js files) in my Web folder. Also, I don't see any exceptions in the crystal_exception_log_file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The same problem to me also.
I was using the crystal report in visual studio 2008, the report was perfectly working. But when we migrated the project into visual studio 2010, the crystal report simply shows the blank report. But the javascript is having the actual data but not only rendered in the screen.
Please anybody have valid solution for this, let us know.

Some parts of DAA.IE website e.g. Site ID and footer are fine, other parts e.g content area are blank but all are ok in IE8

Above happens on all DAA web pages and all are ok in IE8. I have not noticed it on any other websites.

* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

While playing a video in one window, an ad starts playing in another window and steps all over my video.

I usually have multiple windows open and if I am watching a video in one window and an advertisement starts in another window it steps on my video.

If you just need it for one site, an alternative is to keep Firefox 4 but install the portable version of Firefox 3.6 on your hard drive. you can then use the portable version to access that site. My ipod was disabled and says connect to itunes,but all of the videos and question say it will delete everying on my ipod. iCloud backup hasent been turned on either. I don't want anythin to be deleted HELP?

My ipod touch 4g was disabled yeterday, and i tried it so many times it say to connect to iTunes. I don't want to because all of the discussions I've read say it will delete all of my data. I have lots and lots of pictures and apps I don't want too lose. Some of them are very valuableto me. I didn't get the chance to turn iCloud back up on, and I really want to. is there any way i can restore my ipod without erasing all of my data. PLEASE HELP, I REALLY NEED IT! By the way my Sleep/Wake button and my volume buttons don't work, so I use assistive touch, my home button works though.

You cannot enable without restoring it and losing everything you have failed to save to your computer.
This is one of the many reason it is very important tostore everything on your computer/cloud service. Nothing should only be on the ipod.

I just purchased a subscription and so far nothing has reflected the upgrade.
I got the email asking me to verify my email address, and did that successfully. I also got the billing confirmation email, and the subscription shows up in my recent orders.
Is this just something I need to wait a while for?

When you refer to the "Try" message you're seeing, are you trying to download the applications from the product pages? (for example: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.edu.html)
If you have a valid Creative Cloud membership, you'll download the applications by logging into Creative Cloud, and going to the Apps page (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.edu.html). From there, just click on the download link under each of the products.

Apple's Image Capture deleted all my iPhone Videos

I found out that because I have been using Image Capture to import all my pictures and videos from my 3GS to Aperture 3, with the setting "delete after finishing import" I have actually LOST ALL THE VIDEOS I took in the last months. Including those of family I only get to see once a year.
What happens is that it does NOT import the Video to Aperture 3, yet deletes it from my iPhone.
Is there any way I can recover these lost pictures? And how can a bug this serious still be around? This is AWFUL!

I also thought of restoring my iPhone to the date I still had the video's in my Camera roll, but sadly I did not connect my Time Machine drive to my Mac in those days so no iPhone backups are available.

I don't post alot on these forums but when I went searching for a solution to this problem and found this, I felt compelled.
I, too, tried to use Image Capture to import into Aperture 3 after migrating from iPhoto. I used IC because it offers the very handing "Delete After Import" feature that Aperture does not. After my first import, and selecting that delete option, I closed Aperture without verifying the import. The second import session I did look to verify and discovered an empty project called Imported Project and Imported Project(1). I tried to search the entire Aperture Library, but all photos and videos of my child from those two import sessions are gone. Poof.
Apple products have had some bugs in the past, but this is the first that causes loss of important data.

MacMail- No viewer window and cannot Quit- menu choice greyed out- 10.5.8

The problem occurred after I connected MBP to iBook G4 running 10.4.11 via Firewire/Target Disk Mode.
In that process of transferring some files from iBook to MBP, I was also putting some iBook files into MBP trash and emptying.
When done with the TDM, I did drag the icon to trash on the MBP before I unhooked the FW cable.
Now when I try to open Mail on my MBP, icon bounces twice but no viewer window opens and all options in pulldown menus are greyed out. I can only force quit the program.
In the User/Library/Mail folder I can see all the correct mailboxes.
I do not have an archived User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist file.
I have seen online where this problem occurred in OS 10.5 but I am running 10.5.8.

Don't know if this is relevant... I am currently running Permission Repair in Disk Utility and it is taking forever... Countless number of files where "Permissions Differ" and it is still running through the process after several hours. All are in the Applications folder.

Use Console.app to see if Mail is posting any error messages when you try to start it.

IE6 starts new Applet viewer window

I have an html page with an Applet tag. This start a new window with Applet viewer. Obvioulsy I want the Applet to start in the same window as the html page.
Does anybody know why this is so?

I was creating a new Frame() object and adding a Label to the Frame (writing the code manually). This always starts an Appletviewer window of its own in IE6.
Label myLabel = new Label("A New Label");
Frame myFrame = new Frame();
myFrame.add(myLabel);
Using the JDeveloper visual editor, creating a Label in the Applet automatically generated the following code. When this is delivered to IE6 it puts the Label in the same windows as the html page instead of starting a new window.

this.add(jLabel, null);
In retrospect the documentation says that creating a new Frame() will create a new Window. But you always read that last.

All of my Videos are Looping, How do I stop this?

I don't know what I did... but all of my videos in the default "Video" app are all looping. When they reach the end they just go right back to the beginning and start over. At first it was just a harmless curiosity, but it's not going away and it's starting to get really annoying.
I'm also doubly worried now because I looked it up and found out that apparently... iPads aren't supposed to be able to loop like this. There's no way to turn this feature on or off that I've been able to find. Can anyone help me figure out just what is going on?

I remember reading something about this but couldn't find the thread again on a quick search. Maybe you can but, in the meantime, I remember that it had something to do with Shuffle being set, probably in the iPod app. Play around with it, turn it off, whatever.
Doesn't make much sense, I know, but there are several odd things going on in and between those two apps.
