Viewing and Deleting internet history on Router (

Hi,
This is my first post on this website.
I would like information on how to view and delete internet history on a router. I have a linksys router (Default SSID is AFAQ wireless) and I would like to view the internet history. Mainly what internet sites have been visited on my router. I am able to get onto the http://192.168.1.1/ webpage but can't see any options for viewing and deleting visited websites/pages.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.

Which router are you using?
In most Linksys routers, you must enable "logging" to get the router to record the web sites you visited.  Even when you do this, generally only the IP address is recorded, not the name of the website.
Logging in Linksys routers is primarily designed for diagnostic purposes.  If you leave logging turned on full time, it will slow down your router when the router memory becomes full.  Therefore, in general, you should turn off logging.
Windows keeps a good record of the web sites you have visited.  Look in "History" for this info.

  • How do I a recover and view old deleted internet history. places.sqlite file only goes back a month and I want to go back a year.

Ok... 100% honesty instead of making some story up; my boyfriend had an affair; mostly online. When I caught wind of this he mass cleared the whole internet history. This was at the end of august.
I have found the places.sqlite file using the manager add-on. BUT the old history is not there. There is history there from the last month and it shows me pages that were individually deleted but none of the old history is there. I want to go as far back as March 2013 if I can. My bf knows I am doing this and said he would give me any password I may need to do so.
I feel like Iv been living a lie for months and I want some piece of mind.
I need to make a big decision right now and seeing this history will help me.
Pleas tell me there is a way too do this?!?!?! I'm hanging by a thread here.

You can try to use recuva, but is unlikely to work, due to the large size of the places.sqlite file.
    * http://www.piriform.com/recuva
    * The green button is the free download.
Though your boyfriend may had been using private browsing too.
    * [[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit]]
In the future, you can catch him with a history tracking like program, or parental controls.

  • How to see what sites was viewed and deleted?

I need to know what was viewed and deleted on firefox when I was at work? I asked comcast but they said I have to ask you guys. The history isn't there and will not restore. Can you please give me a list of viewed websites for this week or how can I get this information? It is very important that I get to the bottom of all of this. My e-mail address is [email protected] Thanks for all the help that you can give me in this situation.

If the history is no longer present in the Bookmarks and History Manager (Library) then it has been deleted and is no longer accessible from within Firefox.<br />
    *History > Show All History

In such a case only logs in security software or a router may still have that history of visited websites.

A MacBook will use Time Machine to make local backups so that when connected to an external drive it will backup a lot faster.
to disable this, you must use a command under terminal.
to locate terminal, do a search for it under spotlight (the magnifying glass on the top right corner), should be the first hit.
once under terminal, type the following text exactly:
    sudo tmutil disablelocal
    hit enter.
you will be asked to input your password, if you do not have a password, you will have to create one before performing this command. after entering your password, hit enter again and close terminal.
in a few minutes the space taken up by time machine should be cleared.

  • How to view deleted internet history?

I would like to know how to view the internet history that has been deleted on my mbp. Also is there a way to set this up on a pass word so it Can not be deleted?

I think I gotcha. Your messages are stored on the server of your ISP; Apple Mail is only a conduit for this information. You can delete the messages on your webmail, and that should get rid of the history, as well, since the information is located on the server. I've never tried it, but you could contact your ISP and authorize them to delete the history for you - realizing that you will never have access to this information ever again.
Each ISP manages its servers differently. Some delete them monthly; other yearly. But Apple Mail won't help you; only your ISP can solve your woes.
Tell me if you have success!

Hello,   I recently upgraded my skype desktop version (windows) to 7.0.85    I used to be able to get all voice mails on one page by going to "view > voice messages" and delete or save as necessary.  Where is this feature to view all and/or delete voice mails?

You can unsinstall the currently installed version and install the previous 6.21.0.104 version:

When I save a Pages document on my new iMac (Mountain Lion 10.8.2), the default location is iCloud. I have four related questions...
    1. How do I change the "Save" default location from iCloud to my iMac?
    2. How can I see what documents are stored in my iCloud account?
    3. How do I delete a specific document from iCloud once I have accidentally saved it there?
    4. How secure are the documents saved to iCloud?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, you can't if you are using iCloud.
File > Open, from the appropriate application.
File > Open. Select and delete.
They are encrypted on the servers, if that's what you are asking. Your account is also password protected.

  • HT201301 viewing and recording internet videos ???? How do I use the ipad air as a PVR ????

How do I use the ipad air as a PVR to record and later view internet videos.
I want to watch the canadian version at cbc.ca/sochi which is streamed in real time at least 10 hours later during daylight hours here not in the 10 hour shift in Russian time. The events tend to occur in  the middle of our night and I want to watch in our daylight hours.
Yes the events are rebroadcast later but I expect they will be general and not specifically covering Canadian competitor. Commentary etc will be different.

    You don't.

  • Any way to view and delete photos from a camera or card without importing?

I received my iPad yesterday and I have a Camera Connection Kit. I'd like to be able to view photos from my cf card, connected via a card reader and the Connection Kit, without having to import them. I take hundreds of pics at sporting events and would like a quick way to view the files and determine which ones are "keepers," then delete the others from the card before importing to my Mac for editing and creating web galleries.
So far I cannot find an app that "sees" the card except the native Photo app, which only allows selection for import, not zooming or deleting.
    any tips?
    thanks
    steven

You can delete images from most (but not all) SD cards with the camera connection kit. But you have to import them to the iPad first. I don't know how long it takes to import hundreds of photos, so that may not be too quick. I doubt that Apple is going to open the kit up to developers because for whatever reason they want it restricted to photos only. So nothing else, short of a hack, is going to be able to read from or write to the CC kit's SD card.
There are other card reader/viewers available on the market and you could use one of those. Some are quite inexpensive. But I honestly don't know if the cheap ones have delete from the card capabilities. Anyway, a Google search of "card reader viewers" will get you the list.

  • Monitoring and controlling internet access for router

Im kinda confused about what im doing but i have neighbors next door that are bumming off of my internet and i want to be able to deny the access of their computers.  i tried changing the password but it seems that it didnt help, i dont know why or how they got around it but if someone could tell me how i could block their computers from accessing my router it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The details of this depends on what kind of router you have, but generally the most secure setup is to only allow specific MAC addresses to use your router.  This can be a pain until you have added all of your devices - and if you have occasional users like friends who drop by it's annoying to have to go into the router and add them.  Still, it's the only sure-fire way to keep everyone else out.  In my router, it's under advanced wireless settings, and the function is called Setup Access List.

  • Why is my ipad suggesting bookmarks from my iPhone? I turned off iCloud safari and deleted all history, cookies.

I keep getting suggestions when I type a URL in safari and they are bookmarks synced to my iPhone. I did sync these bookmarks at one point to my iPad over iCloud, but since have deleted all bookmarks, cleared cache and history, turned off safari sync in iCloud between devices, turned off my iPad as well as removed safari from the multi tasking bar and I still can't figure out why these suggestions keep turning up when I type a URL. Does anyone have this problem as well, is there anyone with a solution? I turned off all safari syncing on iCloud on all of my devices as well. I have an iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.2 iPad 4 iOS 6.0.1. Thank you Apple community for devoting you're knowledge and time to us Apple users in need of assistance. I really do appreciate everyone trying to help. If there is such a thing in this situation.

Have you poked around in the settings? there are a lot of things defaulted to on that you may not need, such as background app updates, background app refresh and notifications.
