Viewing channels in spectrographic display

Hello all,
I'm a long-time user of AA 3 and am getting comfy with CS5.5. I work with spectrogams a lot, in the sense I often use AA as a means to view spectrograms to compare them visually. I am wondering if there is a way I can view a single channel of a stereo file in AA without having to convert the file to mono as the only method to view one channel at a time to ease analysis of multiple cuts side-by-side. In other spectrographic analyzers I use, it is possible to click on and off a channel at will depending on which one I want to view without having to actually split them or delete one of them, but of course in these other programs I am unable to edit such in the way I can in AA. Hopping non-Adobe platforms in the analyzing/editing process is a bit cumbersome. If there's a way to switch channels on and off in this new version of AA, I'd love to know where I can find that!

Sure, that's fine. Just wanted to know if I could or not. Thanks for assisting, everyone! Ha fair enough, though some people might find such a feature immensely confusing and unnecessary, it is one I've become use to in other spectrographic analysis programs and was hoping I could use such in Au CS5.5. I appreciate the help.
Also, I'm still trying to find a resolution to a real problem I'm having using Au CS5.5 instead of just a visual customization issue as we are discussing here. You can try if it works if you disable OOPP (Out-Of-Process-Plugins) for Flash
You can set the prefs dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.* to false on the about:config page to disable the plugin-container process.

To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

SQL Report Viewer Web Part Not displaying Report

I have just completed updating an old report using report builder 3.0. I have added it to SharePoint Designer but have not replaced the old report file.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
All I did was export the old report from sharepoint designer to my desktop. Then opened it with Report Builder 3.0- made changes to the report and saved it with a different name (for safety in case i break things) and then upload it back to the same place where
the old report was located using SP Designer. I then went back to the site in sharepoint that is displaying the old report, and changed the URL path in the SQL report viewer to the new report.
Now the SQL Report Viewer web part isn't showing anything (blank)

Main Viewer Window does not display correctly

Ever since I upgraded to Aperture 3.3 through 3.4.1, the main viewer window does not display correctly. Everything is justified to the right of the screen. When viewing images, the are not in teh center, they are over to the right. I can't even see the import controls when trying to import... actually I can't even press the import button or add metada. I am really in a bad position here. Need help with this... anyone out there have a solution please? my clients are waiting for their photos. Yikes!

Can I view the smart board display on an iPad

My daughter is vsually challenged and is not able to read the teachers notes on the smartboard. It is my hope that I can assist the school in setting up a link between the ipad and the smartboard so that my daughter can view the smart board display on her ipad. In this way she would hopefully be able to see what the rest of hte class sees and would have the option to pinch and zoom, etc. Any guideance in trying to solve this problem would be appreciated.
I have read many articles on how to mirror the ipad on the smartboard or control the smartboard from the ipad but that is not my intent. I would invision that my daughters ipad would simply be a duplicate screen of what the teacher places on the board. It could be the teachers handwritten notes, a document, a picture, or a movie....
I look forward to any suggestions.

Different smartboards work differently. I suspect your fastest route to finding any answers is to find out what smartboard system the school is using and contact the manufacturers.

View layout is not displaying, ( The page cannot be displayed)

Hi guys,
we have recently installed the ECC6. In webdynpro component, the view layout is not displaying, instead it showing the error message like " the page cannot be displayed".
I came to know that, in order to display the view layout we need to activate some services .
Please let me know what are the services should activate in order to display the layout.

Addendum to original post - uncommenting the following code section and running both the client and the server eliminated the pauses, however the time required to perform the connections was slower than I hoped. The best I could achieve was about 1.25 seconds for 250 connections with a 20ms pause every 20 connections (dropping the pause less than 20ms or increasing the batch size more than 20 would result in connections taking 10-20 times longer!).

I am unable to view channel 5 on demand? I have installed Adobe Flash Player but it is telling me I haven't??? Any ideas how I can rectify this please?

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.

TS2771 on i pod touch the orientation does not change when I turn it on it's side when using safari etc. When viewing youtube it only displays widescreen and will not display portrait , anyone any ideas? is this a fault or do all ipod touch do this?

The user guide says:
Movies viewed in Videos and YouTube appear only in landscape orientation. Street views in Maps
also appear only in landscape orientation.
Do you have the scree orientation lock turned on? If on there is a circular arrow icon with a padlock inside next to the battery charge icon in the upper right.

Is it possible to easily view the actual (not displayed) value of a cell?

Is it possible to easily view the actual value of a cell calculated by a formula, not the displayed value after it has been rounded off?
For instance, if you enter the number 1.23456789 and display it rounded to 3 decimal places, you can still see the full, actual value in the formula bar:
The problem arises when you reference that number in a formula: you can't see the underlying value (even though it's obviously known to Numbers):
Is there a way to get the formula bar (or a tooltip) to show the full, unrounded value? Changing the display to more decimal places is not very convenient, especially on big spreadsheets. Maybe it could be done via AppleScript?
A related issue arises when you try to look at the sum or average of a number: if the numbers being summed have the same number of rounded decimals, the sum displayed is rounded too. I find this very annoying: I want to see the actual value, not how my spreadsheet may be displaying it in that cell.
Although, curiously, rounding to any number of decimals as long as they are not all the same displays the full, correct underlying values:

I did it with an AppleScript.
Now any time I have a cell or cell range selected, I do one click (AppleScript menu > Display Value at Full Precision), and it shows me a popup alert that simply reads:

View Fields Not Getting Displayed in View Set

Hi All
I have created a new View for Component IUICMDC and assigned it to a ViewSet and on click of a button i need to display this view . The navigation is happening fine but i am not able to see View Fields in it , only ZIUICMDC/AdvSearchVS is getting displayed on top of the page.
View Area is defined and Debugger is stopping in the Do_init method of View which is assigned to ViewSet.

You should provide the ability to create rows, you can do it on the table by making the table editable and putting a Add another row or you can choose to add it in a drill down create page.
You can also add a set of new rows initially by creating and inserting rows in the vo in your PR.

Using xsl stylesheet with List View Web Part to display custom text

i have an xsl stylesheet with sharepoint listview webpart. The list view shows some items based on a filter. I want to display custom text such as "No Items" when there are zero items in the list view using the xsl stylesheet. How do i achieve
this. I have spent hours searching but couldnt find the exact answer. Please help me out. I am a light user not a hard core developer so I dont use Visual Studio. Thanks in advance

I have customised the list view webpart using a custom xsl file by including it in the xsl link of the list view webpart. So i think i need to include the condition in the xsl file itself else it wont work. Since the list view webpart isnt using the default
xsl. Please let me kknow if you have any idea about including a condition in xsl to check if there are not items in view.

Data view web part to display the most frequently accessed pages based on the user that is logged in

I am working on a project in which I would like to display the top 5 most accessed pieces of content as links, based on the user that is logged in. Our MOSS 2007 implementation has subsites for all regions that we do business in, as an example North, South, East, and West. When a user visits the North region homepage, I would like a web part to display:
Hello, <username>, here is a listing of your most accessed content:
Link to One
Link to Two
Link to Three
Link to Four
Link to Five
So each user would get a customized list based on their content access. We are not using my sites, but these would not work as we want the list to display on the home page of the region site.
I am thinking that a data view may work here, but I am not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Display view scrambles pages that display fine in browser

Help would really, really be appreciated.
I have a number of pages for a site (at
www.cognographics.com) which display perfectly in the browser.
Until recently, they also displayed perfectly in display view in
DW4. Then I replaced my PC (power surge zapped it), reinstalled
DW4, and now the same pages appear scrambled, with layers scattered
across the page, tables mixed up, etc.
Nothing changed in the code, and as I said, the pages display
fine in IE7. I know the code is not the cleanest, with some of the
styles in the CSS style sheet and others defined on the page, but
(a) the browser does not complain and (b) when I created the pages
in DW they looked fine.
I have installed DW4 on four different PCs, I've even tried
my pages in a friend's DW MX -- same result: Perfect preview in
browser, but pages are messed up in display view in DW.
I'm at my wits end -- any help would really, really be
appreciated

It's entirely possible. Dreamweaver's Design view is not
nearly so
forgiving as a browser's rendering.

Ahh right. The bad news is that DMX is just pretty awful at
rendering CSS
layouts. Unfortunately the only thing you can do about this
is to upgrade
to a more current version of DW. The Design view in DW CS4 is
perfect, for
what that's worth. This page contains all the elements that
will cause DMX
to fall down (floated containers, and absolute and relative
positioning).
Sorry about that. And since DW4 is the immediate predecessor
to DMX, it's
not going to do as well as DMX even.

When changing to Live View Images do not display...

Yesterday I was working on my website and it is still in the early stages so currently I have just a single image worked into my design. When I was changing between my code and the live view everything was displaying just fine. I saved my work yesterday and when I came back today I opened up the same file and found that everything appears fine in the code and the regular design view but as soon as I switch to the live view my images shows up as a tiny blue questionmark box. I have not changed any code from yesterday- the image appears to be linked to correctly because it displays without a problem in th design view. I am not sure what is going on- any help is appreciated!
