Viewing entire info in display panel for streaming radio stations

It's very frustrating.
The "rolling" description in the display never shows
the entire information.
It rolls over before the information is completely displayed.
How can I get iTunes to show all the data regarding the piece that I'm listening to?

The Photoshop and/or Bridge forums would be more likely places to get answers to your questions. This forum is inhabited more by programmer types interested in implementing the XMP specification in applications we write.
I'd expect CS2 to ignore CS1 panels so I doubt that's the issue. Panels don't interfere with each other--they just offer different views of the data. In any case, move the extra panels to your desktop and see what happens.
As far as I know, all you need to do on the Mac is drag the CS1 application folder to the trash to uninstall it.

  • How to delete a streamed radio station

    I created a smart playlist for streamed radio stations (using the rule "Kind contains stream").
    I don't want to delete the entire smart playlist but there are some individual stations that I now wish to delete. I'm not sure how to do this and any help would be appreciated.

    I think I figured it out. I had to go to my main iTunes library to delete the stations I know longer wanted (at first I tried to delete from the smart playlist folder but it wouldn't allow me to delete). Consider my question answered.

  • How can I record the audio for a radio station I'm streaming LIVE?

    How can I record the audio for a radio station I'm streaming LIVE?
    I don't want to record the sound in my room, but only on the sound I'm streaming

    To reduce or make the room noise as low as possible (to get the best audio recording), I recommended the OP to try to record the radio live streaming audio in a silent room. Does it makes any sense to you....??
    No. Preferably one records using direct input.
    Your comment  It doen’t matter whether he/she is recording the audio from the macbook or any external speakers because if the room is noisy than obviously the ambient room noise will be recorded.  is pretty silly really. Think about what you just wrote.
    And you do have a bad habbit in your posts of over using ???????? & !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    One is enough.

  • Chgd computers, now can't find the long, long list of streaming radio stations! I had no app before but now says "there is no app to open"

    On my old computer (last week) I'd been pulling up a long list of free streaming radio stations.  Now can't find it anywhere from ITunes. When I click on "Radio" it says "There is no app chosen for this".  I didn't need an app before, but evidently I need one now.  There are several apps. Can anyone tell me which I should choose - Pandora, IHeartRadio, TuneIn or what?
    I much appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance!

    This indicates you had a bad install. You need to completely remove Office and reinstall using your new CD Key. See instructions here. Do not do the simple remove, Use the COMPLETELY REMOVE ALL FILES steps.

    so I purchased a new Mincrosoft Office 2011 Student/Home Pin to install Microsoft Office.
    You don't purchase a PIN. A PIN is generated when you install Office. You need a CD Key. If you bought Office365, you activate online.
    I have issues with the Microsoft User Data - are there supposed to be two? and where exactly do they belon. They are in the Documents file at the moment.
    Unless you used Outlook or Entourage you can delete both Microsoft User Data folders. When you install Office it will create a new one. Only Outlook & Entourage used this folder for data. W,E,P stores it's data in the User's Library/Application Support/Microsoft folder now.

  • How do I record streaming radio stations?

    I am attempting to record a live streaming radio station, www.iRadiola.com, 90.3FM. Can someone tell me if that is even possible? My band is going to be played in an hour and I want to get the broadcast recorded. www.thedivys.com

    Audio High Jack Pro is the Best way to go. Do a search in Google for it. The Demo is free but the full package is about $30. It will record any audio played thru your Mac. Really neat program...all you do is point it at what program your using i.e. Real Audio, Quick Time. Then just hit the record button. It has a built in itunes tab so it will import straight into it. I use this for my podcast to add streaming audio such as Press Conferences and Game Highlights. Works great.
    Good Luck

  • Please walk me thru creating a playlist in iTunes for internet radio stations

    Please walk me thru creating a playlist in itunes specifically for internet radio. The itunes help page is not detail enough.

    Create a new playlist
    Open iTunes
    Click the + button in the lower left corner of the window.
    Name your playlist
    Add radio stations:
    On the left side of the iTunes window, at the top is the "Library" group. Under "Library" should be an item called "Radio." Click that to open the radio listings. If you do not see "Radio" in iTunes, go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and open iTunes > Preferences. In the preferences window, under the General tab, make sure Show > Radio is checked and click OK.
    Find a station in the Radio listing.
    Drag that station from the listing on the right side of the window to the new playlist you created on the left side, and drop.
    You now have a playlist with a streaming radio station in it.
    To add stations not listed in the iTunes radio listings:
    Locate the stream URL (if you need further help, post which radio station you want exactly)
    Copy the URL to your clipboard (command+C)
    open iTunes
    In the menu bar at the top of your screen, click on Advnaced > Open Stream...
    Paste the URL (command+V)
    Click OK
    Your new radio stream should now appear in a playlist called "Internet Songs." Open that playlist.
    Drag the station from the Internet Songs playlist into your own playlist.

  • Stream Radio Station

    Im trying to stream a radio station in Portugal through Quicktime. Ive done it once, but recently its become harder to do that. I think I might have changed some settings in Quicktime Pro or changed some settings someplace else. What can i do to fix this?
    I do have Flip4Mac installed.
    Heres the URL:
    http://www.radiocompanhiavirtual.com/site/index1.html
    Any help with be welcome.
    Joao

    If I'm understanding you, if we click that link, we should hear the radio station playing.
    On my computer, the audio skipped for a few seconds, then began playing normally. I'm using the Firefox web browser.
    Have you tried using another browser? Have you double-checked your volume settings and made sure your speakers are working properly?

  • Why does my Mac not play this streaming radio station

    Hi all.
    I have no trouble listening online to streaming radio at this site:
    www.6ix.com.au/streaming/stream.htm
    Yet when I try to listen to another online station, CurtinFM Radio found at:
    www,curtinfm.com.au/listen-now.html
    The 'connection' window comes up but when I try to connect I am advised that something or other is not supported.
    Both stations utilize Quicktime to play, and as far as I can tell I am up to date with Quicktime updates.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Regards

    Hi there.
    That was quick!
    Yes I do have FlipMac installed and again, I think that it is up to date. By default both stations open in Quicktime. I think that I have fiddle with FlipMac in the past without results in this regard, so at the moment I seek guidance as I am stuck. More advice in FlipMac I will also try.
    P.S. I am at the present listening to 1080AM radio on my Windows machine <:-{
    Mind you, this IS my kind of music. Geeze, I hope this does not date me.

  • Streaming Radio Stations AWOL

    Okay so I upgraded to the most recent iTunes version because the new "eepo" < that's "iPod" en Español, demanded it.
    NOW when I try to listen to streaming radio content I find that MANY of the stations pretend to load but nothing comes out of my headphones but silence.
    ¿WHAT's UP w/ that?
    ¿Have those stations simply discontinued streaming their broadcasts?
    ¿How/where can I acquire (download) an updated and more accurate list of stations that do stream actual content and not just dead air?
    I love internet radio!
    ¿Any advice amigos?

    Did that yesterday, repair disk permissions. I was able to stream TV news again and the like but still no Virgin Radio Groove, which I listen to everyday! When I opened my iTunes again today, still no Virgin Radio Groove although it's listed as an online radio station. Tried to go to its main web site as well, and I still couldn't access it. Something wrong with not only iTunes but w/ the Quicktime I think. All I get is a big blue Q with a question mark!
    What's happening? Help!
    P.S. Is it possible to uninstall the new iTunes and Quicktime versions just so I can get back to my old routine?

  • Display time for streaming movies?

    I manage a site containing many long (1-3hr) streaming movies. We have them set up to view in web pages via the QT plugin. Works great.
    Users have become used to the YouTube appearance of online videos, which display the current and total runtime of the video. With our long movies this would be very handy.
    Is there any way to mimic this functionality in Quicktime's plugin? I know I can force movies to load in Quicktime Player, which displays current but not total time, but I'd rather keep them in a browser.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for all your work and code.
    But I just tried it and do not see the display.
    Did I assemble your code correctly?
    <script>
    <!--
    var count=11;
    var timecodedivlayer;
    function countdown(){
    changelayer_content(count);
    if (count>0){
    Id = window.setTimeout("countdown()",1000);
    else{
    window.close(); //I don't think this does anything, leftover from a prior script. Oops.
    function hhmmss (timeinseconds) {
    hh = Math.floor(timeinseconds/(60*60));
    mm = Math.floor( (timeinseconds - (hh(6060)))/60)
    if (mm < 10) {mm = "0" + mm;}
    ss = timeinseconds - (hh(6060) + mm*60);
    if (ss < 10) {ss = "0" + ss;}
    return hh + ":" + mm + ":" + ss;
    function changelayer_content(counter){
    if (document.movie1.GetPluginStatus() == "Complete")
    curtime = hhmmss(Math.round(document.movie1.GetTime() / document.movie1.GetTimeScale()));
    tottime = hhmmss(Math.round(document.movie1.GetDuration() / document.movie1.GetTimeScale()));
    msgstring = curtime + " of " + tottime;
    else
    msgstring = "Loading...";
    if(document.layers){
    //thisbrowser="NN4";
    timecodedivlayer = document.layers[0];
    timecodedivlayer.document.open();
    timecodedivlayer.document.write(msgstring);
    timecodedivlayer.document.close();
    if(document.all){
    //thisbrowser="ie"
    timecodedivlayer = document.all["timecodediv"];
    timecodedivlayer.innerHTML=msgstring;
    if(!document.all && document.getElementById){
    //thisbrowser="NN6";
    timecodedivlayer = document.getElementById("timecodediv");
    timecodedivlayer.innerHTML =msgstring;
    // -->
    </script>
    My pages all use the javascript method and I just pasted your code below that code.
    Did I miss something? Does it work for "progressive" downloaded QuickTime content or is it meant for only files served via "streaming servers"?
    BTW. I got a chuckle when I clicked on the "movie" you used as an example.
    Nice pop-up and a brain F*rt for me.
    Ignore any "br" code above. It is caused by these Discussions pages.
