Viewing facebook friends in browser

When I am on facebook full site through safari and I try to view friends the window pops up but I can not scroll thru it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yep, Gerard's right. I figured out by accident that you have to use 2 fingers when scrolling through an in-page box.

Not sure what the exact problem is but thought I'd post it here for comments.
Whenever I tried to view my friend's list of friends on facebook, the list is very short and when you click on "Show more" at the bottom of the page, it doesn't load everything up. It can't be right, becoz there is supposedly hundreds of friends, but the list only loads 20+, at most 50.
I tried it in Firefox and it is the same. When I open up the same pages on my Windows machine (on Chrome), it worked fine; the friends list automatically shows more friends when you reach the bottom of the page.
Anyone know what is wrong? No, i have not installed any Safari extention that could be blocking it except Adblock.

But it's definitely not a browser issue. I've been using FB for years. They have occasional glitches.
One thing you can try is deleting Facebook cookies.
For Safari 5.1 go to Safari / Preferences - Privacy. Click Details. Delete all FB cookies.
For Safari 5.0.5 go to Safari / Preferences - Security. Click Show Cookies. Same thing.
Quit Safari, then relaunch Safari. Try FB.

New User - Spotify hasn't shown any Facebook friends

I just signed up for Spotify via Facebook. It seems to show me everything fine, artists, celebrities I can follow, apps, except for Facebook friends. I have Spotify exempted from the only firewall I use. It just doesn't show any possible Followers from Facebook. It only says:Facebook Friends on Spotify: There are no more people to show at this time. I've signed out and signed back in several times, the problem is persisting. **Update**A friend managed to link me to music, which linked me to her profile. Facebook friends are still not being shown.

Spotify is going backwards! It isnt possible any longer to go through the friend list and select a friend and view his/her playlists and songs. Why is this SPOTIFY??? You are going backwards! The follow site is JUNK! Come on and give us our friend list back! There are no longer any reason for connecting spotify with facebook. List View in the event browser stopped working.

Recently I was using Final Cut pro X when it crashed, when I re-opened the application I found that List View in my event browser no longer displayed any content, filmstrip view appears to work but I had gotten quite fond of list view.
Is there a way to get it running again? I've already tried Restarting, shutting down and booting up again, taking out my external hard disk before opening FCPX then putting it back in again..

We have the same FCP X issue. Filmstrip view works, switch to List view and it shows nothing. We even tried closing in List view, then reopening, it reopens in Filmstrip. We have rebooted as well, with no effect. Anyone find a work around?

My facebook profile photo shows up on an email to a friend who has a yahoo email address, but is not my Facebook friend. All my FB privacy settings are at the max. Is this a Yahoo privacy issue? I don't want my photo to go to other than FB friends.

I recently sent an email to a friend, who is NOT a Facebook friend, who has a yahoo email account, and my Facebook profile picture appeared next to the email. My privacy settings on FB only allow FB friends to see my photo. Why is another yahoo account that is not a FB friend seeing my profile photo and is there a Yahoo privacy setting that will eliminate this from happening? Thank you.

Facebook may have changed them as part of a software update.
Is there a link in that email (signature) with a link to that picture?

Problem with Css styles not showing in live view or when i browse

I am using Mac osx 10.6 and building website with Dreamweaver CS5. Sometimes div tags i create not showing styles or rendering in live view or when I browse but showing in design view. I looked in dreamwever faq and they talk about not showing in design view to toggle the display styles. That is not the problem becuase it is check marked and I tried turning off and turning on and made no difference.I am using firefox browser.
It happened before the other day too. But all of my other pages in this site that i have created the same way building with div tags and css styles. So not sure what the problem is. Maybe someone has a suggestion here.

I updated to 2014.3 and cannot view my site in browser or publish. I see that alot of other people are having issues. Can you please assist. This is very frustrating.

I cannot even publish the site. Muse crashes when I try to view site in browser and it crashes when I try to publish the site. It is not the browsers - yes I have tried. It has only happened since I updated to 2014.3 - just like everyone else having problems. This is a problem with the update. I can make a new site in the new release and it works - however all existing sites built before 2014.3 release is no good. This a big problem that needs sorting out. I should not have to rebuild everything again. I have sent my muse file via dropbox, as I have seen other people having trouble being asked to send the file through and it will be looked at. The url is http://australiasnaturecoast.businesscatalyst.com/ . This is not the correct version as I made a new site in the new muse update. I need my original version to work. I have tried uninstall and reinstall of Muse and this has not helped.

Cannot view pdf files in browser

brand new imac cannot view PDF files in browser but the PDF's can be viewed if downloaded. All the data in the PDF online have question marks instead, maybe a missing font issue?

Have Adobe Reader installed? If so, disable the AdobePDFViewer.plugin resident in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins., restart, and try again. For font-associated issues, peruse Font Management in OS X

HT5500 How do I get all my facebook friends OUT of my icloud contacts?

This is a HUGE problem for me. I don't know what setting I change to ull my facebook friend info into my icloud contacts files on all devices, but I want to reverse it and make them gone!!!! GONE I say. If someone thought this was a good idea and it was a universal update, they must have been on LSD. I DO NOT want to look at the names of every person I've ever known when looking for critical numbers to do the business of my life...work, home and family. That obscure person I saw at the the last high school reunion is just clogging up my contacts database and wasting my time. WASTING MY TIME...is that what you want to do apple? Stop changing things just to make them different! If it aint broke, DON't fix it! PLEASE! Ever since Mountain LIon came out I am increasingly annoyed by these nuisance matters that demand my time energy and attention.
So, now that I have voiced my frustration, how do I get these facebook names OUT of my icloud contacts! You tell us how to bring them in, but no where that I can find, how to get them out. It's time to clear this up in a simple, easy to follow set of instructions. Start with, do I do it on my imac or on my iphone, since I suspect it was an iphone setting that caused the problem.
I see no setting on the iphone to reverse this problem. Please direct me.

I am continually amazed at how specific to each device these settings can be, or at least how specific they can seem. chrisfromgastonia, I did figure out that unchecking contacts in the facebook settings on my iphones solved the bulk of the problem. However, there wasn't a facebook groups to uncheck in my list of groups. Likewise Smith121, there was no facebook account enabled in my contacts application on my computer, so I could not do that. However, I do have another groups related question. Ever since this last update pulled all my facebook contacts into my synchronized contacts, the groups function on my contacts doesn't work anywhere. All that happens is that if I try to access a specific group, the check mark beside the name of the group gets unchecked. I used to be able to select a group and then have the full list of members of the group come up and only those names. No more, there is no accessing the members of the groups, only the names of the groups to look at which does NOTHING AT ALL to help me. Any ideas? Advice?

Apple has 'Back to my Mac' which could work well, however it is tied into iCloud & frankly makes it a real pain handling passwords to set it up.
I think the Messages application can allow you to request that someone can control the Mac via 'screen sharing' too, but I haven't tried across different OS X versions.

Can't view shared images via browser

I use an old version of Skype, and I do not want to update. Whenever somebody sends an image via Skype, I see this message:

This device doesn't support Skype's new photo sharing features yet, but you can still view it in your browser here:

When I go to the link, it asks me to log into Skype, when I login, I see a page saying "Sorry, we were unable to open this photo. Try signing into Skype again.". No matter how many times I log in again, it still shows this message.

I use Google Chrome, the latest beta version (40.0.2214.85 beta-m). I find this unlikely that this particular image is corrupted, because I can view it with Skype on my phone, and this issue happens with all images shared via Skype, as far as I can tell.
I have not tried to open the image links in Chrome, but it works with both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Make sure that you have the latest IE version installed on your computer and try to open this link in IE.

I take it you have a Jabber account set up in Messages ?
A Google Mail ID can access Google talk which is a Jabber Server and if you have Enabled "Chat" at Facebook you will have a Facebook chat ID that can be used in Messages as they too run a Jabber server.
Of course these are just two of many Jabber and compatible XMPP servers.
I don't have Facebook or Twitter but I did use the Menu bar icon for Notifications and clicked Messages and Sent a Messages to one of my Jabber IDs (it logged me in and sent it from my Google one).
In the System Preferences > Notifications I do have Share Button set (Messages only).
