Viewing full photo stream on iPad

Is there any way of viewing photos from your photo stream on my iPad that are outwith the last 1000 taken. I am abroad and don't have access to my laptop with the photo stream file? Thanks

Did you check to see how many photos are currently in Photo Stream on www.icloud.com?  It's possible that the 30 day restriction has caused all but 127 photos to be removed from Photo Stream.  My understanding is that the additional photos will remain in the Photo Stream album on your device (such as the 295 photos on your phone), however until your turn off Photo Stream as you did on your iPad.  At that point only the currently available photos would be streamed back to your iPad when Photo Stream is turned back on.

  • TS3989 How do I view my photo stream from ipad and iphone on icloud?

I have icloud on but it does not show my photos or photo stream when I log into icloud on my PC.

My photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, allowing enough time for your devices to download them.  They are not backed up, only your camera roll photos are backed up.  If all your photo stream photos are older than 30 days, you would not get them back when you signed back into your iCloud account.  Shared photo streams remain in iCloud indefinitely and should reappear on your device when you sign back in.

  • My Photo Stream on iPad and Apple TV

I have 84 photos in My Photo Stream on my iMac and was previously able to get all of them in my screensaver on Apple TV.  After a recent upgrade I can only get 3 pictures on Apple TV.  On my iPad there are 18 pictures.  How can all of the pictures be synced to all of my devices?

    Hi Felicia G,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The information below will explain how Photo Stream works.
Another way to organize photos is to make sure they are automatically added to your computer and use Home Sharing to see them on your Apple TV.
    iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
How many photos are stored in My Photo Stream on my devices and computers?
Your iOS devices keep a rolling collection of your last 1000 photos in the My Photo Stream album. From there, you can browse your recent photos or move the ones you like to your Camera Roll or another album to keep them on your device forever.
Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to have all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically downloaded. In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will be imported into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.
What happens to my photos if I turn off My Photo Stream?
If you sign out of iCloud or turn off My Photo Stream on an iOS device, all the images in My Photo Stream are removed from that device. The images in My Photo Stream on your other devices are not affected. Images added to My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days from the date you added them to My Photo Stream. If you sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID and turn on My Photo Stream on another device, those photos will automatically download to this device. Before turning off My Photo Stream, it's a good idea to save any photos that you'd like to keep to your Camera Roll. Learn more about saving your photos to your Camera Roll.
How do I view My Photo Stream?
Apple TV: After signing in with your iCloud account, you can view your photos by choosing iCloud Photos or Photo Stream from the main menu (or selecting Internet > Photo Stream in Apple TV Software Update 5.0).
iTunes 11 for Mac: Play items in your iTunes library using Apple TV (2nd generation or later)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12153?viewlocale=en_US
With Apple TV (2nd generation or later), you can stream content to your home theater system from your iTunes library, and the iTunes libraries of all the computers in your Home Sharing network. You can also stream digital photos stored on your computer.
Stream photos from your computer to Apple TV
Once Home Sharing is set up on your computer and on Apple TV, you can use iTunes to stream photos to your home theater system.
In iTunes, choose File > Home Sharing > Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV.
In the window that appears, select Share Photos From, and choose a source from the pop-up menu.
Choose “All photos, albums, events, and faces” or “Selected albums, events, and faces.”If you chose “Selected albums, events, and faces,” select the albums, events, and faces you want to stream.
    Click Apply.
    Hope this information helps ....

  • Deleted Photos from iPhone still show up in Photo Stream on iPad: iOS 6

Okay, I've done a lot of searching and can't find any solution for this.  I'm on iOS 6 on all devices, so none of the iOS 5.x article / discussions apply.
I have my iPhone 5, my wife has an iPhone 4, we have an iMac, and an iPad 2.  Here's the situation.  We use iCloud and Photo Stream is enabled on all four devices, and all share a single Apple ID.
I have many photos (let's say 100) I've taken on my iPhone 5 over the last several months, and with Photo Stream enabled, they were automatically copied to all of my other devices.  Great.  Now, I'd like to delete let's say 20 of those photos.  On my iPhone 5, I go to "My Photo Stream" and mark all 20 of them and delete them.  I get the pop-up confirmation that they will be deleted from the Photo Stream on all my devices. Great, exactly what I want.
The photos delete from my iPhone 5, my wife's iPhone 4, and my iMac.  However, they still appear on my iPad under Photos, Photo Stream, and under Events (September 2012 Photo Stream, October 2012 Photo Stream, November 2012 Photo Stream events).  I can not delete them from my iPad.
    I have tried:
    1. Selecting each photo, there is no option to delete
    2. Selecting edit, and then selecting a photo, the delete button is disabled
    3. Disabling Photo Stream on my iPad, and rebooting.  All photos in "My Photo Stream" on iPad are deleted, but not the photos that were sourced by other devices, they still appear under Photos, Photo Stream, and the monthly Photo Stream events
So... How do I delete these photos from my iPad?
    Cheers,
    Gouda

Okay, finally figured out what was going on.  Positng the solution here in case it might help someone else with a similar problem.
    Here's what was happening:
    1. iPhone5/iPhone4/iPad/iMac all had iCloud + Photo Stream so Photos were shared
    2. iMac was setup with iPhoto to automatically import and save Photo Stream photos
    3. iPad was setup to wirelessly sync all albums from iPhoto
So, when photos were shared using Photo Stream to iMac, it would backup to an album in iPhoto, and sync to the iPad.  Deleting the original photo on the iPhone would delete the photo from the Photo Stream on all devices, but it had already been added to a permanent album in iPhoto (e.g., "September 2012 Photo Stream").  This album was then automatically synced to the iPad.  So, deleteing the photo from Photo Stream would clear it from the iPhones, but not the iPad.
    To delete the photos:
    1. Delete the photo from "My Photo Stream" in the source device (the device used to take the picture), this will delete it from the active Photo Stream on all devices
    2. On the iMac, go into the automatically created monthly Photo Stream events, and delete the photos from there
    3. In iTunes, initiate a Sync with the iPad, which will update the syncronized albums/events there, removing the photos on the iPad as well
Hope that's able to help someone in the future...
    Cheers,
    Gouda

  • HT4436 Can there be more than on iCloud account on a computer?  I have an iCloud account with my iPhone and would like to view my photo stream on my husbands mac.  I do not have a mac but an older PC

Can there be more than one icloud account on a computer?  I have an icloud account with my iphone but would like to view my photo stream on my husbands mac.  I do not have a mac but an older PC. thanks

    Welcome to the Apple community.
The simple answer is yes you can. On a single user computer, the user can have secondary iCloud accounts, which they can add through the system preferences > mail, contacts and calendars. The only drawback here is that only the primary iCloud account can use photo stream. This can be worked around by having a second user account on the Mac. Each user account could then have a different primary iCloud account, one for you and one for him, your account could then receive your photo stream pictures.
Are you also aware that you can have iCloud on your PC and download your photos stream pictures to it.

No. For Photo Stream you'll need iPhoto 9.4 or later.  This Apple document gives the minimum system requirements for iCloud and Photo Stream: iCloud: System requirements

    Hello there, missjanellez.
The following link from the online iCloud Help menu provides some practical information in regards to shared stream functionality:
Manage Subscribers to your shared streams.
    http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7bfa
    On an iOS 7 device
In the Photos app, tap Shared at the bottom of the screen, then tap Streams at the top of the screen.
Tap the shared stream whose subscribers you want to manage, then tap People. The Activity stream doesn’t have subscribers.
    Do any of the following:
To invite more people, tap Invite People, enter email addresses or tap the Add button to select from your contacts, then tap Add.
To remove a subscriber, tap the subscriber, then tap Remove Subscriber.
To choose whether subscribers can add photos and videos, tap Subscribers Can Post.
If the subscriber list doesn’t include Invite People, you don’t own the shared stream.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro

  • View multiple photo streams

I have many different photo streams on my iphone that I share.  How do I veiw them on my mac?  I goto add subscription and put the url in and iphoto always says its bad.

To view your photo streams on your Mac send yourself an invitation from your iPhone and accept it on your mac. Then your shared stream will appear along with your "My Photo Stream".

  • HT1349 HOw do I view my photo stream on my Windows XP computer?

I am unable to view my photo stream from my IPhone on my computer.  Photo stream is working on Iphone fine.

You can't sign into iCloud using Windows XP.  It currently requires Windows 7 or 8.  You'll have to access your data on icloud.com using your browser.
You can add your iCloud email account to the email client on your computer by using these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864, but that's about it.

  • My husbands icloud account is set up on my mac but i want my icloud set up so i can view my photo stream

My husband"s icloud account is set up on my mac but I want to set up mine to view my photo stream from my ipad

In order to use Photo Stream with your own iCloud account it must be the 'primary account', signed into in System Preferences>iCloud. Presumably that's where your husband's account is signed in, so you will need to sign out, and then sign in your own account.
You can then sign your husband's account in in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars so that his data appears alongside yours in Contacts, Calendars and so on. You won't be able to receive his photo stream unless he creates 'shared Photo Streams'.

  • Photo stream 2 ipads

I have an iPad 1 and an iPad 4, both registered to same Apple ID. The iPad 1 has 608 photos showing up in photo stream but they don't show up at all on iPad 4. Both have photo stream enabled, both are registered to me.
What am I missing? I went onto the icloud.com site but, unlike mobileme, there doesn't appear to be any way to view them.
Please help, and thanks in advance.

    You can either:
Save the photo stream photos on your iPad 1 to the Camera Roll (which you do in iOS 5, as I recall, by opening the photo stream album, tap the arrow button, tap the photos you want to save, then tap Save), then import them to your computer (as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), put them in a folder on your computer, then sync them to your iPad 4 by connected it to iTunes, checking the folder containing the photos on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, then tapping Apply at the bottom and syncing; or
Use an app like PhotoSync, which can wirelessly transfer photos from any album between your devices.

  • HT201077 Viewing shared photo stream in web browser in slide show mode

The pictures in my photo stream used to fill the whole web page when in slide show view
now they sit in the middle of the page surrounded by a black boarder.
Can this behaviour be changed back to full page display?

If you are using iOS 7, open the Photos app on your iPhone, tap Shared at the bottom, tap Edit at the top, then tap the icon next to the album you want to delete.  If you only want to delete selected photos in it, tap the album, tap Select at the top, tap the photos you want to delete, then tap the trash icon at the bottom.

  • Viewing transferred photos on my Ipad

    Hi all,
I wonder if you can help, i am a new ipad user but have had an iphone for a few years.
I am trying to transfer and use photos on my ipad that i have transferred from my PC. I am sure it is simple but i can't make it work.
In the frist instance i am trying to e-mail myself just one photo and save it somewhere. It is giving me the option to save the image but it doesn't show in the camera roll like it always did on my iphone. Does it goes somewhere diffrerent with the new IOS 7 as it doesn't appear in my camera roll on my iphone anymore?? i have tried tunring both devices on and off and closing all open apps to see if that helps and it doesn't.
secondly, i am trying to use an app like google drive to transfer lots of photos. Again I have managed to transfer one photo into my google drive and i can view it on my ipad but when i try and open it, it tells me that i don't have an app which i can open it in. As it is a photo shouldn't i just be able to open it in my camera roll. If not what app can i get which means i can open photos?
Ultimatly, i want to achieve being able to transfer photos from my PC onto my ipad and be able to upload them to places like photobox, truprint or bob books (once they release there app). It can't be as impossible as I am finding it.
Any help would be much appreciated as i am getting very frustrated!
    Thanks

Follow this closely if you really want to sync with computer. Otherwise you may lose all your data.

  • Deleting photo stream from iPad but not other devices

I created a photo stream last year to share pictures with my relatives. It shows up on my iMac, my wife's MBP and my iPad as well as the relatives computers and phones.  Now another relative has created a stream for this year and it currently appears on all of those devices.
I would like to delete the old photo stream from just my iPad  to free up some much needed space while leaving it on the other devices. I also want to keep receiving pictures in the new photo stream which appears to mean I cannot turn off iCloud. When I click edit and click on the X at the corner of the old photos stream, it says it is going to delete it from all devices.
How can I just delete the old one from just my iPad?

This is not possible as far as I know. The best option would be to save the photos from that photo stream to a computer using iPhoto or Aperture and then disband the photo stream (giving the other shared members plenty of notice so they can nab those photos to local storage as well).
