How do you view iphone videos on ipad2?

You would have to sync them to your ipad or email them to yourself first. Then you should be able to open them and watch them.

  • Portrait iphone videos on Apple TV dont use whole screen

When viewing iphone videos on Apple TV via iTunes the picture remains in portrait mode.  Is there a way of uisng the whole screen

vazandrew your response is completely useless
Of course it is a flaw that the Apple TV can't do something that every iPhone, iPad, and every competitor viewing device can do.
    But that's not the point.
Is there a workaround here?  The bottom line is that I have videos in portrait that I *need* to view in landscape on my tv.  I'm sure many others are in the same boat.  Is there a simple app that allows videos to be rotated then saved as new videos?

Is this your issue >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5818
    If so...
The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

  • IPhone viewing Streaming Video in other formats

I am considering an iPhone, however, I am curious if the iPhone can view streaming video in other formats such as wmv. I have tried on a friends phone and it didn't work. Is there a plug-in for the iPhone that can be installed to do this?

My suggestion is to go to the feedback site (which I will list below) and tell Apple your suggestions directly. Not a promise that they will be included but at least you are getting to the right set of ears.

  • How to view youtube videos from iphone 4 to tv using composite AV cable

    Hi,
Can any one please help me as to how to view youtube online videos on TV through my iphone 4. I tried connecting the iphone 4 and TV with a composite AV cable however I can hear only the audio but am not able to view the videos.

It seems so stupid that you cant sort videos by date. Some please tell is that we are idiots and tell us how? And if u simply cant, well a big shout out goes to google for being right on top of things. I hate google! Company is too big and they cant keep up apparently. Sooo much junk on you tube and they cant give us filter and sort options on the most widely used tablet on the market.? Gawd pleeeeze tell me im an idiot!

  • Viewing music videos on iPhone?

I downloaded Beyonces new album, but can only hear the music and cannot view the videos. What am I doing wrong?

    1. Are you positive you downloaded the music video completely?
    2. Try opening it by going to Videos (not iPod) and seeing if it is there.
If not, I would recommend deleting the album and putting it back on your iPhone.
    Hope this helps,
    Derek

  • Problems viewing iPhone 4 videos

I have taken a number of videos with my ip4 and uploaded to mobileme and I have synced to iphoto 8.1.2.
I have broadband connection, a powerbook g4 with 1.67ghz (10.5.8 osx) but have to wait forever to have video load whether I try and view my video at my mobileme gallery (using firefox), view in iphoto/quicktime 7.6.6 , or even view on my iphone 4 (four bars and 3G service and with or without being connected to my home wi-fi)... they all play for a few seconds and stop. I press play and it will play for a few more seconds and stop. Waiting 10 minutes to watch a short video-clip is not good.
I am certain that this is related to HD video. Is there anyway to change a setting to film at a lower resolution, that will play or stream with the above mentioned equipment/settings.
    Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi SF, I think at this point you will need to Uninstall and Install the new version of FP 10.0.42.34. The Shockwave Flash
Object Flash10c.ocx did not get installed in manage add ons, even tho you installed FP 10.0.32.18.
Here is the link for the Uninstaller that you will after you click on the "Windows version" SAVE to your desktop:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Here is the link for the Installer that you will run immediately after Uninstalling:http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
This will NOT be saved to your desktop.
(I had an internet outage this morning or I would have posted this sooner)
Follow the instructions completely for the Uninstall and be sure to Reboot TWICE to clear out all old versions. After the Install, Reboot Once.
After you are finished go here to test:   http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
Then test your websites to see if everything is working as it should and post back.
    Thanks

  • Iphone video doesn't skim in viewer

I have imported iphone video and checked "create optimized media". When I go to skim in the viewer, after import, no video shows up then then fcpx locks up.  Is there a trick to importing iphone video into fcpx?

    Yes,  what does that do?
This is the folder where the transcoded iPhone files end up and FCP X uses. The Originals have trouble playing back but the ones in the Transcoded Media folder should work.

  • HT5899 How can I burn iPhone video to DVD to view on a TV please?

I have an iMac Mountain lion and 4S iPhone.  I have imported my iPhone video into iMovies but am unable to burn video to a DVD that will play on a TV (it will only play on a computer). Can any one help please?

iMovie is not DVD authoring software. You need to use a professional DVD authoring software like iDVD (Apple discarded it on new Macs in the past 2-3 years, if you dont have it, give another alternative AppGeeker DVD Creator here a whirl) to burn and create a playable DVD that can be played on an ordinary DVD player.

  • What's the best way to import and manage iPhone video?

I don't really want to use iPhoto for importing video - it doesn't seem like it's built with that in mind even though it's the default option for importing both photos and videos. It doesn't have very good (if any) options for filtering just videos or just photos, either when viewing or importing. And I don't want to have videos all jumbled in with photos in my iPhoto library.
I also don't really want to use iMovie every time I want to import videos. I know it's designed for video, but it's far more of an editing app than a management app and I don't want to be editing all my videos or loading up iMovie just to browse them.
I considered Clipstart but it commits a cardinal sin when it renames all my videos in the Finder to a sequential numbering that begins at 01.mov for each new day, creating hundreds and thousands of identically titled movies in the video library, albeit in their own folders, but chaos if you want to search in Spotlight or anything.
So I'm left with Image Capture, which gives me complete control of what I import and where it goes. The problem is that it too doesn't offer a filter for seeing just the videos or just the photos on my iPhone. My photos are all being imported automatically by Photostream so I only want to grab the videos. If I set 'view by width' it seperates out the videos because they have no width tag, but then they aren't displayed by date order so I can't easily find the new videos I've not imported before.
    So... what do you do?

That's exactly the sort of crafty workaround I like. I didn't know they were all tagged, but that would definitely work. I'd still love a dedicated app that did it really well, or more love given to that side of things in iPhoto. iMovie is too hefty for just managing them.
Is iPhoto properly built to handle management of iPhone video, by the way? I didn't want to use it because it didn't seem like it was, and also because I sync my iPhoto library with Dropbox and video would more than treble the size of the library so I manage it from the Finder mostly, importing clips to iMovie if I do want to edit something (rarely).
