Viewing media on my Samsung TV

Guys,
I have a samsung 6-series LED TV. I can connect it to my router wirelessly, no problem there.
The problem is that I want to watch my movie and music collection from my iMac.
I have Vuze, which it seems to recognise (I didn't know Vuze did this until one day it showed up on my TV as a media device). In Vuze I have currently got 4 icons as devices: iTunes (greyed), my samsung TV (in colour), and two phones (also greyed). I don't know what the difference is between greyed icons and the coloured one, but assume this indicates availability of the device. I tried clicking on the TV device in Vuze and then dragging some movies to that device. The files seem to go into the list, but when I then check on my TV, and connect to Vuze, when selecting Video, the list comes up empty, meaning the TV cannot find any media.
I guess the question comes down to: How can I watch my movie files on my iMac on my Samsung TV?

Viewing media files via Bridge files

I can't seem to view media files like photos, music or vids via Bridge files - what am I doing wrong? I can view docs and pdfs but no media files like the pictures that I take on my BB.
The message that I get is "There are no files that can be opened in this application".

Can't view media files in PDF with Adobe Reader

I've got a PDF that has some video and audio media in it, I've installed the latest Flash Player and Adobe Reader and I still get the message about not having the proper "Media Player" for it. When I click the "Get media player" button, it doesn't do anything, like the link it goes to is broken.
I've tried viewing the PDF on a friends laptop that has Macromedia Flash 6 and it works fine there, so why won't it work with the latest software?

Hellow my friend , I had that problem and after headache I solved it .. the point is to download (adobe flash player for IE) not the other versions , so when you redirecting to flahs player download page just make sure to change system version; that mean to click (Need Flash Player for a different computer?) ,then select your operating system, then select version (Make sure to choose flash player 14 for internet explorer ) .... It will work very well >> u can follow the captured images I have attached .

Android Browser Landscape View Media Queries in Dreamweaver CS5.5

In regards to the media queries working on android browser. I Use Dreamweaver CS5.5. When I tested there was no change .
When I tested in landscape view it takes the default web browser screen width it is not device screen width.

Can I view media files stored on an external hdd connected to a wifi router

Hi there, been searching but most the discussions seem quite old. I have a wifi router with a usb port for connecting an external hdd to. My ps3 will see the hdd but can I also get my iPad/iPhone to view the media files store on the hdd. Are there apps I need or settings I need. I currently use air video to stream from my pc but I am about about to change my pc for a laptop which will not be connected to an external drive constantly. Which is why I want to connect my hdd to my router, plus save on electric to run my desktop constantly.
So is it possible?
What do I need?
I'm a bit of an idiot so any settings I may need would be gratefully received too lol
Its an o2 wireless box 4, 500gb external hdd currently ntfs file system. I do not have apple tv either.

8player does it, haven't tried it for a full episode yet but seems stable, plug hdd into router and open 8player on your device, browse to router and attached hdd and play the file. avi and mp4 work no prob and there is a lite version if you want to try it out yourselves

I think, that you cannot view just songs after upgrade to P4S. I have the same problem and it is really annoying because I was used to Nomad Explorer. The best you can do is to download MediaSource where you can at least change artist and album in more songs at once.

When you want to see individual songs you have to move them to library (also MediaSource because Windows Media Player is really strange).
But I think you just have to get to use to this system...

How to use time capsule as media server on samsung tv

My time capsule is connected via lan with my samsung Series7.
The tv has a connectin to the internet via lan.
I want to stream movies from the time capsule directly via lan to the tv.
"All Share" doesn't see my time capsule.
Do I really have to install a server-software on time capsule?
If yes, how?

There is no media server in the TC or available to load in the TC. The TV is probably needing DLNA streaming which Apple will not do.. since they use their own standard.
You have to have a player between the devices.. and not an Apple TV unless it has been JB.. because Apple places too many limitations on it. You cannot JB the latest ATV v3. So look at other products.. eg WDTV live.
Or many others that can play media files stored on the TC to the TV.
Or you need to use iPad or media computer to stream from itunes to the ATV plugged into the TV.. it does get complicated.

Viewing media card with version 6.x

I upgraded to version 6 of DS, and having returned from a month-long trip, actually used this version for the first time. Where oh where is support to view what's on the media card in this version. Not media files but actual data files that may not be recognized as simply "media" files. I tried every option and looked at help. I'm used to the Roxio media manager, which while slow, at least was effective for viewing and managing the contents of folders.

I realize that Media doesn't work with *.wmv. The video's I have have all been converted by Media to *.asf. I was just wondering if there was a limit on # of files or size of individual files and total files.

Viewing media card files

When i plug in the USB cable on my Tour, the only files that show up in Windows Explorer are the Music folder. When i use Roxio Media Managaer all the other folders show up too, like the picture folder and so on. Same thing when i remove the media card and use a card reader. How come i cant view the folders while the media card is in the phone using windows explorer????

My guess is that you don't have mass storage mode enabled. When I enable this feature I get an auto play window and choose open view files. The next window has BlackBerry and System folders I can choose from. Hope this helps!

Suddenly, I can't sync or view media

I am having a problem with Apple TV, and I have done everything I can think of to solve it without success. Can anyone help me? I have a year-old MacBook Pro and use a Time Capsule for wi-fi and backup. I have the current versions of all applications and software, including this week’s ATV update.
Problem: After a couple years with no problems, I suddenly can’t sync or stream media from my MacBook Pro to Apple TV. First, iTunes can take several re-launches or even restarts before it recognizes ATV. It has done this on occasion before, but now it is worse. When ATV does pop up under devices, it appears to sync to ATV. I see my TV espisodes being synced at the top of iTunes but – and I think this is a clue to what’s wrong – the bar at the bottom of iTunes that shows the amount of music, video, etc. synced is blank. There are more than 1,600 items to sync (which I assume includes my music), so I let it sync overnight (making sure, of course, that my MBP doesn’t sleep). When I wake up, everything appears finished (although there’s still no video or music showing on the bottom bar), and when I go to ATV it appears everything is there. But when I try to play my TV shows – nearly all of which were downloaded from iTunes – I get the following message: “apple tv selected video could not be played the format was not recognized.” Sometimes I am able to get to the screen when it starts to load the TV show, but it never loads and the screen remains blank except for a progress bar that shows no progress. When I close iTunes, all my media disappears from ATV, leading me to believe it never synced in the first place. I have tried to simply watch by streaming without first trying to sync, and either there is no media showing, the show never loads, or I get the port 3689 firewall message. But my firewall is set to “allow all incoming connections,” so I don’t understand how that can be the problem.
I can watch movie trailers and access the iTunes store on my ATV, am able to sync video and music to my iPhone and iPod, and everything else on my network works fine, so what’s up?
I have tried the following: Rebooting ATV, both by using the remote and by unplugging it; resetting ATV to factory settings and reinstalling the latest software updates; rebooting Time Capsule; reinstalling iTunes; reauthorizing my MBP to iTunes and to ATV.
Clues: I had not used ATV for a couple of months before all this happened. I downloaded a season of “The Wire” from iTunes a few days ago, and wanted to watch an episode. That’s how I noticed the problem. I had a larger hard drive installed in my MBP a couple of months ago, but everything else has worked fine and I tested ATV when I got my laptop back, and was able to play my media. Could some setting have been changed? Also, I recently installed 1Password, but I haven’t used it for signing on to iTunes or ATV.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot view media in Pages document after copying folder to desktop

I have created a document in Pages which includes video, which is saved in a folder called Assignments.I also have a folder marked Pictures and Videos which contains the media from the document contained within the Assignments folder.
However, the problem I am having is that when I copy the Assignments folder to the desktop and open up the pages document, Pages tells me that the media cannot be found, even though I have coped the Assignments folder to the desktop.
How could I go about solving this problem, as it's really quite irritating as nothing has changed other than me copying the folder to the desktop.

I use an other scheme.
I store the document and the media files in a disk image so, I may move the complete set as I want.

Viewing media files

When opening a pdf or mwv file, the files seem to download to my computer even if I only select "open" (as opposed to save to...). Is there any way to view the files without them automatically saving to my computer as well?
