Viewing multiple calendars side by side, like in Outlook on PC

Hi I have a client who has switched from PC's to Mac's. They used Outlook on the PC and grew up with the side by side calendar view (there are only 4 staff members).
Do anyone know of a Calendar app for the Mac which will offer this?

Unfortunately, multiple window selection is not possible using iCal/Calendar.

View multiple calendars?

I have multiple calendars in MS Outlook.
For example 1 for myself (main calendar), 1 for my wife and 1 for the kids.
Only the main calendar is shown on BB.
Is it possible to view my other calendars on the BB?

How can i view monthly calendar entries in OS7 like in OS6?

I just purchased an iPhone 5S with OS7;I had been using a 4S with OS6. I cannot figure out how to change view of calendar. On my 4S I could see entries when I looked at the whole month calendar. On the 5S, I only see a dot for an event; I have to open the day to see the specific event. Where are the calendar preferences?

From the Month view in iOS 7, you will only see the dot. If you are updated to at least iOS 7.1, you will have a button next to the magnifying glass at the top of the screen that will allow you to see the events for the day if you toggle it on or off. That same button also changes your day view to the list view that you may have seen in iOS 6, so play around with that button. Also, you can turn the iPhone sideways at anytime to see the week calendar.

Viewing multiple calendars on an iPod

I successfully sync'd my iCal file that contains 7 calendars with an iPod Touch. When viewing them on that iPod, I found that I can view any ONE of those 7 calendars or see ALL of them at once, but nothing in between.
Is there a way to choose and view 2, 3 or 4 of those calendars? Looking at all 7 at one time is too cluttered but I'd like to see conflicts between 2 or 3 of them. This can be done in iCal for Mac, But I haven't found how to do it on the iPod version.

Should be able to find something with a nice GUI that would work.
Lostify on the Mac works nicely.

SharePoint Calendar side by Side

Hi,
I would like to create a single calendar day view, showing multiple calendars side by side in SharePoint.
In my scenario i have multiple meeting rooms, rather than creating a calendar overlay. I would prefer to create a single view day view, with time slots running down the left hand side. Each meeting room would be represented by a column in the single view.
any ideas how I go about achieving this ?

Multiple calendar views but not All?

Is there a way to view multiple calendars yet not view all? I'm assuming not but maybe I'm missing something. In iCal I can have multiple calendars yet I can check each one and if uncheck they won't view. I basically have one calendar group I want but I don't want to see it all the time. Yet with the iPhone I either have to view them all or one individually at a time. Anyway around this?

There is not. With the iPhone, it's All calendars or one calendar, no options in between.
As I'm sure you know, you can submit feedback to Apple. Should be pretty simple to enable that in a future update, but of course there's no way to know where it will fit on their priority list.

Can you allow users to view a calendar without granting "Read - Full Details"?

We would like users to be able to view Room calendars side by side in Outlook. Its fine if they can see basic details (subject, organizer), but we don't want them able open and read the meeting body.
Is it possible to have a side by side view without granting "Read - Full Details"?

Hi David,
In Outlook 2007, "Free/Busy time, subject, location" permission only applies when checking the user's free/busy information and not when looking in another user's Calendar folder. In Outlook 2007, if you want to let the calendars be shown side
by side, you need to grant the user Folder Visible permission. But in this way, the user can read meeting details.

Viewing Multiple Photos

How do I view multiple photos, side by side, so I can make a comparison and decide which ones I want to delete? I used to be able to select them all with the shift or command keys and then bring them into the Edit screen. Now only the first one comes up. I am running a MacBook Pro (early 2011) OSX 10.8.2 with iPhoto 9.4.1.

Select the two you want to compare and use the Edit button. You can then go to full screen to get a larger image of both. Also move the slider at the bottom all the way to the right.

Multiple calendars on single palm

Is there a way to have multiple calendars loaded onto a single palm utilizing corporatetime and a 3rd party utility?
The situation is an administrative assistant needs to keep track of their own calendar, plus the calendars of two other executives. The assistant would like to have copies of all three calendars on their palm, but separated versions,etc.

I did a lot of research and didn’t find anybody that says “it is possible to view multiple calendars on Iphone 3G” You are saying it is possible but your step are not accurate.

Multiple calendars on new phone using exchange

if you would like multiple calendars on exchange using outlook 2003
go to calendars
go to settings
or to your advanced tab
check off *allow multiple calendars*
add your calendar
rename calendar by right clicking on it
voila the phone now has as many calendars as you start
on list you will see a different color dot per each calendar
on upper left you will see calendars touch it
all or a list of what you named each one will appear

Collate multiple calendar entries

Hi Guys,
I have a family of 5 all on iPhone's and IPads with thier own calendars. My wife and I also have work calendars.
To keep track of what our kids are up to we get them to 'invite' us to events in thier calendars (work shifts etc) so that if we are viewing the calendar on our phones it shows up in our own calendar...
The problem happens when we open the calendar app on the iPad and show both our calendar and the kids calendar... sometimes the same event is shown on three different calendars.
Is there some way of getting the Calendar app to condense the double and triple entries into a single entry when viewing multiple calendars?

I had this issues. When I looked in the iCal preferences it still had my MobileMe account in there. I deleted that and all was well.

Viewing pdf files side-by-side in Preview.app

I was wondering if Preview allows two PDF files viewed side-by-side like Adobe Reader. That is, under Adobe, when you have two PDF files open, you can go to Windows->Tile->Vertically to place two PDF files side-by-side for easy viewing. I know you can always adjust the size of the Preview window to view the two files side-by-side, but I was just wondering if there is just a button that I can just easy accomplish what adobe can do.

You could open a second Firefox window, adjust the sizes of the two windows and align them side by side. (Firefox button > New Tab > New Window '''''OR''''' CTRL+N '''''OR''''' File > New Tab > New Window if using the Menu Bar)
