Viewing PDF with two-up mode

Hi,
I am trying to view a PDF in 2-up mode/view and the problem is that the odd pages are on teh right-hand side of the screen, which means i have to read from right to left rather than left to right.
I've tried various settings (show cover page) etc but can not get it to work as desired.
can anyone ofer any assistance?

If you could invest in Acrobat then you would have the ability to insert an extra page at the beginning, a blank page, and
then be able to read in the order you want.

Adobe Reader plug-in and Acrobat plug-in are not compatible with the Safari 5.1 browser, which will ship with Mac OS X 10.7 and for 10.6 in July 2011. Problem Using Back Button in IE When Viewing PDFs with Acrobat Pro

I have an administrative page on my website where I view PDFs of form data submitted by my clients. It has worked fine all along, but suddenly a problem. When I view a PDF, I could always hit the back button and it would take me to the Administrative Interface (of all of my forms). BUT now if I hit the back button it takes me right back to the same form (page) I'm viewing. Below if the Administrative Interface....It may be hard to see but on the left side is a link for the PDFs of available forms. Clicking on the link opens the form...but again when I then click back I'm supposed to return to this administrative page...but instead back viewing the exact same form. HELP!

Cannot view PDFs with Reader (11.0.06) on Safari

Hi there,
For some reason I can't view PDFs in Safari. I just updated my Adobe Reader to version 11 because I went to look at a file on a website and got this screen (below) instead of the actual file. I've already tried moving and trashing the plug-ins in my "/Library/Internet Plug-ins" folder and there's nothing that says PDF in my "~/Library/Internet Plug-ins" folder.
Any advice for fixing this is much appreciated.
I'm operating on a Macbook Pro, OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and using Safari 5.1.10.

As I said above, I've already tried moving and deleting both of those files. I had a proper install and I'm aware of the correct Library folder, but some posts related to this problem said to check your user library folder, too, so I did. The user library folder had nothing related in it, but the correct Library folder had both plug-in files.
To be clearer,
First, I tried moving one and both of them to a new sub folder (as one post suggested) in Library called "Internet Plug-ins Disabled" which did not work,
Next, I tried deleting one and keeping the other and vice versa,
And finally, I tried moving both to the trash and completely deleting both plug-ins but that hasn't worked and I keep getting the same screen as I posted before.

Spool to PDF with two ALV

Hi all.
I'm facing the problem to generate two PDFs from two ALVs contained in the same screen (in two different containers).
I was thinking to use FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF, but the problem is that in the spool I only see one ALV.
Does anybody knows how to find some workaround?

Does the report produces two Spool Id or only one.
If the report produces two spool id then call the FM for both the spools.

Viewing pdfs with Quick Look is too small in Lion?

I tried to search for this everywhere and I didn't see much input.
I'm a grad student in the biomedical sciences. I need to keep a large library of pdfs for my work and one of the best things about switching to a mac was being able to use quick look to quickly browse pdfs instead of having to open tons of files just to find what I need. Often I'll be looking for specific information and in Snow Leopard I could read an entire pdf article using quicklook because the pdf filled the screen.
In Lion quick look doesn't make the pdfs large enough to actually read, except for the title of articles.
In Lion I can't zoom in pdfs and I can't seem to get the pdfs very big with quicklook no matter if I am in full screen mode or resize the window etc. I don't actually even understand why full screen is an option for previewing pdfs in Lion because it only makes them fractionally larger than they are in the regular viewing window...(on a 13inch MBP anyway)
Am I missing something?
I just upgraded to Lion with the 10.7.3 update btw and I have spent the past several days tweaking Lion to get it back just the way I want it. This feels like the final stumbling block...
I guess I was just wondering
a) is there anything I can do to remedy the situation besides simply getting used to opening the files in preview (which of course I do eventually anyway)
b) am I really the only one bothered by this? It seems really subpar compared to how quick look worked in Snow Leopard but after trolling the web for about an hour I've found scarcly any mention of the issue...

I appreciate your efforts to point out possible solutions (which I tried out before posting here).
Despite the fact that they don't work here (font resolution is too poor to be readable when enlarged through the magnifier) I would still consider this issue a downgrade with respect to previous versions of OS X just because it would require more efforts to arrive at the same results compared to simply enlarging the window with one mouse/trackpad move. A lower screen resolution can definitely not be the preferred solution. I'm far from being blind and I enjoy my current screen resolution.
Dragging things into the preview app is not favorable either: I want to have a quicklook and don't want to bother actually opening lots of files at a time.

A pdf with two forms to be saved out separately...

I have a request from my customers to create a single PDF (price list) that also includes two separate forms. They want to be able to fill out each form within the single price list PDF document, but save each of the forms out separately from each other and from the price list.
I am guessing there is a way to write it in flash, but I am not familiar enough to do this. Anyone know if Acrobat can do this and how? Thanks -

But there is a way to save the form and data when the PDF has been set with "Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader...".
With this in mind, is the answer still "No" that you cannot have the scenario I have been requested to provide. Is that really considered a page extraction?

View PDF with Flex

Is it possible to load and view a PDF or a PDF thats been
convereted to an SWF in a flex app? I've seen sites like
docstoc.com / scribd.com / issue.com doing this. How are they doing
this? I have not been able to find much on this subject.
Would pdf2swf work for this? If so are the swf's generated by
this tool compatible with AS3? Does anyone have sample code showing
this example?

i don't think there is a component to do this. But I think,
you can open PDF inside you flex application using IFrame.

What's best architecture for DAQmx app with two operational modes?

I have an architectural question. I am writing an application which takes measurements from a custom sensor which has two modes of operation: 1) idle mode where two voltages are sampled slowly, run through a transform, and then the result is plotted such that the user can see the idle state of the sensor; 2) a testing mode where the user defines a testing time of some number of seconds then hits 'Go' and records high-speed acquisition for the specified number of seconds (with some sort of simultaneous real-time plotting) and then writes the data out to a file. I am trying to use the 'Top Level Application using Events" VI template but have run into issues with the VI not responding to UI clicks when in an event case...I got around **some** of these issues but now I am stuck because I can't get the app to register an abort button click when in testing mode. I think I am missing something when it comes to events as LabVIEW defines them. (I'm a .NET programmer) My basic question is what is the best top-level VI architecture to use for something like this? I don't want to go down the wrong path and have to re-write the whole thing...
**I did come up with a seemingly neat way to get a tab control to switch tabs from inside an event case...I look at the X, Y coordinates of a mouse click and if it is within one of the tab selector zones at the top, left of the control I programmatically swith to the corresponding tab...seems like there should be an easier way but it works.

I think that the best would probably be a producer consumer type architecture with events. You can do a search in the example finder and find a good one. As for the events not responding, you probably just need to uncheck the check box for disabling the front panel until the event finishes. You will find this at the bottom of the dialog box for the event structure.

Problems viewing PDFs with form objects

I have a document I can't view correctly in Acrobat Reader XI. The document includes some form objects like radia buttons and check boxes. When I view the document in Adobe Reader, i only get square boxes. If I use Foxit Reader, I can se the objects normally. I have taken a screendump from the same PDF document, one using Acrobat Reader and the other using Foxit Reader. As you can see, there is a big difference.
The screendump above is from Adobe Reader XI
And this creendump is from Foxit Reader.
Why cant Acrobat display the form objects? It looks like a font problem. I have tried to install asian font pack. Is there any other font packs that could solve this problem?

How were these forms created? I have seen (in this forum) similar cases when forms were created in some none-standard ways.
See if the attached test document shows correctly in Reader XI.

Viewing PDF with JPEG 2000 embedded images

I tried a PDF file that contains a JPEG 2000 image embedded, but got a "Out of memory" error (on an iPad).
The size of the PDF is a A4 page scanned at 300 DPI.
It seems that all other PDF viewers on iOS 5 are able to display the same document !!!
Anybody having a similar result or being able to view such a type of file ?

I'm using firefox 7 in os x
i have adobe acrobat installed and the option "display pdf in browser" is selected.
i tried to install adobe reader x and it didn't helped

Viewing PDF with Controls on Android

I tried to use the controls in the pdf and i couldnt play or control frame by frame. Can anyone help suggest any extensions into PDf that can allow PDF to play such document in android? or rather an alternative that can be used.

Zathura can't render pdf with mupdf backend

After the update to zathura 0.2.4-1 I can't longer view pdf with zathura and mupdf backend, I get the following error
error: could not load plugin /usr/lib/zathura/pdf.so (/usr/lib/zathura/pdf.so: undefined symbol: opj_stream_destroy)
error: unknown file type
the poppler backend works fine.

It appears that it was built linked against libraries that have since been changed. zathura 0.2.5-1 won't build at all anymore. Definitely a candidate for a bug report.
**EDIT**
It will build if mupdf doesn't have it's static libs stripped, but it does not solve the issue:

which I believe is part of openjpeg.
