Viewing Photo Meta Data on the IPhone
Is there an app in the app store that will allow me to view the meta data tags for my photos? I tried to find one, but the ability to find apps based on functionality in the app store is pretty limited.
Not sure on your exact need but try this site for app shopping... http://appshopper.com/. Much easier and quicker than the App store. There are a few others you can find with Google.

Photo synchronization problem in the iPhone
Hi:
This afternoon, going to update the iPhone has left me a strange message saying:
"The iPhone" XXXXXXX "can not synchronize. There was an unknown error (-50)"
Then I realized that it has updated everything but the parts of the image and I've noticed also that they were no longer able to select albums as they were before.
In the iPhone were the albums that are selected in iPhoto but not seen in iTunes.
Then I unchecked the option of photos in iTunes and the iPhone has left me a window asking if I wanted the option to delete photographs of the iPhone. I said yes, to see if the matter is settled and all that has happened is that the pile of photos that I took the iPhone has cleared.
I've been looking at Apple's website to see if a solution to this problem and the result was negative.
In view of this, I have decided to restore the phone to see if such an operation to fix the problem.
I also repaired permissions yesterday was installed as an update of iPhoto and I thought that this could be the problem.
I have reinstalled iTunes, too.
Nothing I have done has helped to fix this problem (which does not appear in iPhoto albums) and, consequently, when synchronizing the iPhone and comes to the photos when I get the message highlighted.
I do not know what to do in iTunes to see the albums in iPhoto (Of course I have reviewed Preferences iPhoto and iTunes).
Can anyone put out a hand, please?

There are many others with the same problem. It is almost certanly some bug due to iPhoto 8.1 update, and I guess Apple will fix it soon.
I have posted a bug report to Apple, I suggest you and others with this problem do the same. -
once I sync my photos from my PC to my iphone where do I find them on the iphone? I went to camera icon, then to camera roll, but all I see are the photos I took on the iphone.
There are two ways to view ITHMB files. The first is to convert them to a more standard format, such as JPEG. You can try doing this with the help of the free utility, ithmbconv. The second way is to use the program iThmb Converter. It will let you view files without converting.

I managed to transfer the music from 1 pc to 1 other pc (it is played perfectly on the other PC (Windows 7- pc) by the newly downloaded and installed iTunes, version 10.6.1.7). But I didn’t fix the transfer of the meta data (for example the rating). Does anyone know how to use (or import) your old playlists, etc..(= meta data) on the other PC? So, short: how to migrate the meta data from one pc to an other pc?
It's a pity that it seems not to be possible to import on the new pc e.g. the ratings!!!
I don't want to start again with rating my (beautiful classical) music!

Viewing Office 2007 Documents on the iPhone
I have no problem viewing Office 2003 documents on the iPhone (3G), but can't seem to view Office 2007 docs (docx format).

Everytime I try to update to iOS5 on my iPhone 4 I get an error containing 0xE while it is backing up data from the iPhone before installing the new operating system. I have done everything suggested in Apple support with no success. I still get the error everytime (about 5 minutes into backing up iPhone data). How can I upgrade to iOS5 without losing all the data on my iPhone (the error message says that if I continue I will lose all data on the phone)? If I have already synced the phone before upgrading the OS, would I be able to restore my data after installing the new OS by syncing after the OS upgrade is complete? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -
I recently upgraded to an iphone 6 from an iphone 5. I backed up my iphone 5 to my laptop and whan i tried to restore my data to the new Iphone 6 it a password which i dont have. Is there any way to restore my data to the iphone 6 without using a password from my iphone 5?
Can you do the backup again if you still have the iP5 ?

"...an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone" - caused by latest iPhone update today?
I've been syncing my iPhone to my (non-apple) desktop for several months without difficulty.
Today I accepted the latest upgrade to my iPhone software.
Since it installed, it will not sync.
It gives the error message "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone "Steve's iPhone" because an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone." After rebooting the desktop, the error repeats, and it's now in hour 2 of the continuing message "Syncing Steve's iPhone (Step 2 of 2) - Finishing sync"
Has anyone else run into this Undocumented Feature of the latest upgrade?
As bugs go, this is pretty serious for those of us who depend on syncing the iPhone and desktop for our business!

Steve CallenderTried rebooting the phone, and now it works.
Guess there's 2 lessons here -
Boot again when installing new SW, even if the phone reboots itself during installation, and
Boot to see if that fixes a problem before posting it.

Depends. There is no supported method, from Apple, to exit recovery mode, other than restoring your phone. That, of course, means that all data on your phone gets erased. There are third-party utilities, like RecBoot, that claim to be able to get an iPhone in/out of recovery mode with the push of a button. You can search for these yourself.

Uploading Meter data into the system
Can some one please describe the process of uploading the meter data into CC&B.
What is the content of the flat file that i upload.can i upload a meter read XML file directly into the staging tables.....kindly explain the steps..I have not been able to upload any daat into the system using staging control and staging upload page.
Also i found out that there are batch process MUP1 and MUP2 which need be rum in order to upload the meter data into the system from the meter read staging table.Is this correct.
With regards to the meter upload staging table, i referred to the MR staging table : CI_MR_STAGE_UP
there is some data available with the installation as demo data.
For column MR_UP_STATUS_FLAG, there are values such as E, P, C...I unsersatnd there meaning.
1) For Pending P status, i submitted the batch processes MUP1 and then MUP2, expecting that teh status might change to Complete, c.......at the same time i ran MRUP-PRG ........well i was going to write nothing happened , but i saw that after some time all teh rows with ataus P and C are not present any more..........
2)How do i rectify the data with E status.........

Thanks for the question. You are correct, the option to disable Voice Dial is located in Settings > Passcode (before iOS 7.1, it was located in Settings > General > Passcode). You can also choose to disable Siri access from the lock screen:

There is no saprouter between ERP and MII as in the thread from Christoph Mertins in November 2008. The user rfc-i33 on the ERP has SAP_ALL permissions.
Has anyone an idea ?

One other issue that has occurred to cause problems is registering the program in Visual Administrator. If you registered the ProgID in Visual Administrator, there will now be two ProgIDs registered (MII does self registration with the RFC Destination upon starting the server). Delete the registration in VA, if you did it.
If there are other error messages available, please post them.

I also just remembered, if you have two ProgIDs that are the same, running on two separate MII instances, you may run into a problem. Not sure it will have the same symptoms or error messages, but something else to check with (especially when migrating from dev to prod).
