Viewing purchased video
I have had my iPhone a week, and love it, but have probably done some dumb stuff already, and could use some advice. I purchased a tv series (Dexter) on iTunes, and what a mess I have gotten myself into. I have two questions. 1- the series is too big to get onto my iphone, not enough memory I don't think. Can I delete what I have already watched? 2- my computer has like the smallest memory available in a real computer, and I can't store it there. So can I burn a dvd of video that I have purchased on iTunes to store it? I guess I really goofed, and have learned what I guess is an expensive lesson, but I can't store it on y computer, and can't get it all on my phone. So how do I go about getting rid of it, from my phone and my computer (if it is in fact stored there). I have downloaded 5 episodes to my phone, but there are about 8 more. Yes, you can delete it from the phone. In iTunes, under the phone tabs, display the shows on the phone, right click and select delete.
You can burn a data DVD backup of any iTunes content.
You cannot burn a watchable DVD.

Trouble viewing purchased videos in videos app

I am suddenly having a problem viewing all my purchased videos (saved on the cloud) in the videos app. Regardless of whether the "show all videos" option is on or off in settings, I am only being shown the videos I have currently downloaded to my ipad. Never had this problem before and I still view everything normally on my iPhone. Hoping someone might be able to help!
Cheers, A.Try basic troubleshooting steps. Close the videos app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Videos app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Can't view purchased Videos whilst on Cellular
I recently had to master reset my iPhone 5, since then I am unable to view my purchased content (not downloaded, stream only) in the Video app whilst using Cellular/Mobile data 3G/4G. Although when I connect via Wi-Fi my content appears. It will say - No Content You can download videos from the iTunes store. - My Music is fine and shows on both Cellular/Wifi. I have the 'show all videos' option switched on. Seems I may be missing an option but can't seem to locate. Any ideas?
I don't believe you can set to use cellular data for video streaming in the Video App. If you go to Settings>Cellular>Use Cellular Data for, the video app is not listed there.

Cannot view or listen to purchased videos on Itunes.
Last weekend I purchased several videos on itunes and I was able to view them fine the first few days and then all of a sudden when I tried playing the video all I would get is a grey screen with no image or sound. I am using the most current version of itunes on an imac. Please help! Thank you!
Hi, this exact same thing has happened to me. However, I have updated EVERYTHING, i have the most recent version of iTunes and Quicktime. When i try to play a purchased video, even one i just bought last night, it says I am not authorized to play this, so then it tries to contact iTunes to let me authorize it, but it doesnt, a window pops up and says..."could not contact iTunes, you must download at least iTunes version 4.0 to authorize and play this video." this happens with any purchased video i try to play. The gray screen with no sound or video. Please help! I have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing. Same problem still. An Apple Consultant friend of mine told me to delete the two iTunes plist files in my library and restart, and I did that but it still has the same problem! Please help! here or my email is:

Unable to view music videos in iTunes on mac
I have iTunes on a G5 Mac Pro It is on the latest version of 10.5 with the most recent update to iTunes. I am unable to view music videos many of which I purchased from the iTMS or came with music CD's as extras some are m4v others are mp4.
If on import I set the option for format as being Music Video I cannot get the videa to launch double clicking on the video gives a picture in the album cover window but does not launch the video viewer nor does the video play. I dont often view music videos just Movies or TV Shows and last time I did I recall Music Videos playing they opened in a seperate window and there was once a setting in preferences where you could choose if a video launched in a new window or used on in iTunes.
I have used the info window to change the video type to standard movie and then going back to the file in iTunes double clicking launches the video in full screen mode. Once I then set back to Music Video it reverts to refusing to play.
In any format the file plays in Quicktime
Any suggestions pointing to where the problem may lie would be welcome. I cant see any relevant settings to set how a video displays in either menus or Preferences other than ensuring video window stays on top. It maybe in one of the many upgrades this Mac and iTunes has had the settings have been corrupted.They will not show up in a separete category in iTunes. This is because the videos will show up as songs so that you can play the audio portion of a video without the video. Try it.

No, i Cloud allows you to download, it does not allow viewing of video without downloading first.

How can I view music video that I purchased on my Music App on my iPad?? I can view video in question on my iPhone!! On my iPad it simply plays the song when selected.

I can not view ANY videos on Vimeo, I have 'reset' the Ipad, original IOS 5, cleared the history and cookies, I haves changed the DNs number to 8.8.8.8, I have worked on this for 3 days now, HELP!!!!
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Can not view any videos on firefox.
Anytime I want to view a video from within Firefox (YouTube or other) I am not able to view it. With YouTube I get the message "Error occurred. Please try again later." Other videos just give a blank page.
I checked my plugins, they are all up to date. I am using Firefox version 13.0.1. I don't have this problem when I use other browsers such as IE. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks to all the replies. My problem was finally resolved. I followed the solution explained in:

Basically I had to uninstall my Real Player (I still do have Quick Time installed though).
After uninstalling Real Player all my videos (YouTube and others) started playing OK. -

I cannot view my videos after upgrading to OSX. Each video I try to open the message on the black background is Blocked Plug-In. In system preferences I have the latest Java but Flash Player does not upgrade to Flash 12 after numerous attempts.

I need the Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.102.64plug in on my MacAir to view Ustream videos. Adobe message says the version is for Intel-based Macs with Safari; also says that I "may have to temporarily disable antivirus software. is it safe to download?
Your MacBook Air is an Intel-based system. To download the current version (11.2.202.228), go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download it from there.
If there is still a Flash issue, you can try the Google Chrome browser, which has the current Flash built into it, to see if it works any differently with the videos. It's available from https://www.google.com/chrome -

I Press the link it gives you to view purchase history and when I have to sign in with my apple ID it says can't connect to iTunes store. It's done this for weeks now and is bugging me as I need the info on it to retrieve a game account. I'm on an ipad air
