Viewing sent or received files

Hi guys,
First of all, sorry if I'm posting this in an incorrect area. The problem really is in the title -- I can't seem to locate the feature which would allow me to view all sent and recieved files. I'm sure it was located under the "view" tab running along the top of the client, but it's just not there anymore. Has it been removed, or has my skype bugged or...?
Any light shone on this would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance
Solved!
Go to Solution.

Unfortunately, this very useful option was removed from the latest Skype update.
If you want this option back, then you need to uninstall the currently installed version and install the previous Skype 6.21.0.104 version.

    Hi,
    Based on my knowledge, Exchange has no built-in feature to get the attachment statistics report. But you can check if EWS can achieve it.

    After purchasing the Export PDF Online software when I attempt to perform a "File/Save As" when viewing a document on the web it locks up windows explorer.  I receive "FIle Save As - Not Responding"

    I think you may be correct.  It is coincidental with my upgrade to Adobe Reader 11.0.10.
    I have installed IE 11 (11.0.9600.17690)
    It may be an Adobe Reader problem in that the "tools/file save as" dialog is completely empty. No local directories are displayed for saving to.   When I try to Close(X) the "File Save As" box it pops up a message box on top that says "Adobe Reader is not Responding"  It locks up all of my IE windows, not just the one with the PDF doc.
    I need to go go Task Manager and stop the IE task.  All my browser windows are then closed.
    That is the only way to recover from the "Adobe Reader is Not Responding" message.

  • Receiver file adapter not responding

    Hi guys,
    I have 2 interfaces in XI development system that make use of receiver file adapter in order to receive some .txt files. Although these communication channels used to work until yesterday, for some strange reason they stopped functioning, but only in development system. However, I cannot see any error in Runtime Workbench (Communication channel monitoring), it's status is "correctly configured and started" and has a green sign. But, when I sent a file from sender adapter, it is sent correctly, but it never gets received from receiver communication channel.
    There is no error in SXMB_MONI either.
    In XI production system, the same interfaces are functioning well.
    Any ideas?

  • Empty file receiver - file adapter

    Hello,
    Scenario: File->XI->File.
    In my scenerio, I am using Java mapping to name the target filename and creating text file that is later sent to FTP, in that way I don't have to use content conversation, to save performance...
    I am on PI7.1 version so I have checked the options (Processing Parameters) for empty file handling in Sender/Receiver file communication channels.
    Issue:- Though the target file is created but it always contain 1 byte(NULL character). Any ideas??
    Thanks
    Anshul

    >
    The java mapping is genarating output as text file,right??have you tested your java mapping in NWDS or eclipse,because when you test in Operation mapping you will get error for text file,because it is not well formed.
    if your java mapping genarating text files perfectly then file content conversion not required at all,just give file name in Communication channel.

  • RECEIVER FILE ADAPTER FCC ERROR

    in Receiver File Adapter i am getting the following errors

    It is saying that you are not using the fieldSeparator parqameter.
    have you provided the field separator parameter? if not then give like below
    order_row.fieldSeparator : ,  (give what ever the separater you are using)
    or
    order_row.fieldSeparator : 10,5,...  (if you are using fixed length)

  • Receiver file adapter not functioning

    Hi guys,
    We have developed some interfaces that are exporting some .txt files in ftp locations and therefore they make use of receiver file adapter. Although the receiver file adapter used to function properly some days ago, for some strange reason, it stopped receiving any files. This happens only in XI development system but not in XI production system. In XI development, in Runtime Workbench --> Communication Channel monitoring, I can see this communication channel's status as correctly configured and started, with a green sign on the right, but it is not responding when some files are sent to it, and therefore there are no output files in target directory.
    Any ideas?? It is urgent.

  • Receiver File channel for XML files: with carriage return

    Hi all,
    we are using a receiver FILE channel to generate an XML file that is sent to an external partner.
    The XML file looks good in a parser (IExplorer). But in fact there are not carriage return / line feeds between the XML tags
    of the XML payload in the file.
    Our partner now requires the XML file in a more vertical structure which means: for every tag a separate line (like it is displayed in a parser)
    Does anybody know a more general way to convert to a vertical XML structure (so with carriage return line feed).
    There is one entry in the SDN dealing with this topic but suggesting using an UDF. I think this is a very specific way.
    I don't think it is a good way to change/enhance the message mapping just because of a general formating change.
    Is it better to use an XSLT mapping as a second step in the interface mapping or a JAVA adapter module to convert ?
    any experiences? suggestions? examples?
    Thank you very much
    best regards
    Hans
    examples:
    original by XI receiver FILE adapter
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <MT_batchStatus><type>BS</type><header><message><messageSender>SENDER</messageSender><messageDate>20090723143720</messageDate> ... and so on
    required:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <MT_batchStatus>
    <type>BS</type>
    <header>
    <message>
    <messageSender>SENDER</messageSender>

    In such a case, the best is to write an generic XSLT or Java mapping that will attempt to do the pretty printing/formatting of the xml.
    The advantage of a generic one is that you can reuse the same class/jar for many other scenarios.
    so the flow will be as below in your interface mapping;
    1. your specific source to target mapping
    2. the generic formatting class

  • 'Use Temporary File' in Receiver File channel

    hi all,
    I am facing a strange issue with receiver file channel which I am not sure if somene had already faced. I couldnt find any help from blogs..!
    I have configured the Receiver File channel with Write mode as  'Use Temporary File'  with a temporary file name(say tmp.xml)  scheme and Empty-Message Handling set to 'Write Empty File'
    When the scenario is executed, its so happening that the temporary file of 0 bytes(empty file) is being created as tmp<msgID>.xml before the actual file is being completely written. It is expected that once the Actual file is completely written, the tmp file should be deleted, but here is not the case.Thus causing both the files being present in the target location. This is not happening often though.
    As the receiving application is processing all files from the target direcotry, the file is getting errored out in the target application.
    I think the 'Write Empty File' has nothing to do with this as the option 'Write Empty File' is for empty payloads resulting from the message mapping.
    Please correct me if am wrong and also provide me the inputs on my issue. Am on PI7.0
    thanks in advance,

    Hi Tilak,
    this is real time interface
    real time by using a file... that's a non-sens according to me. You should use a non physical solution (web service, JMS, JDBC, etc...) but a not a file. well... Anyway, you can image that the receiver application schedule the folder every 30s or every 1min, that's almost a real time. Real time is mainly a conceptual view (only synchronous exchange needs really real time). Morevoer, if you really wanted a real time, you should not add a tool like PI (or other) between your source and your target system, the more we have systems, the less it's efficient (in term of delay and response time!).
    Even if we propose that the receiver application should have a condition to its script to avoid picking the tmp*.xml files, after a period of time there would be a chance that the *tmp files may increase in number..
    No ! coz if my theory is good, if your receiver application does not pick-up tmp.xml, that means this file is not currently treated and so PI is authorized to delete it. So no increase of tmp.xml files in this folder.
    Another solution: to create the target file without option "temporary", but to create it in another folder than this one scheduled by your receiver application, and use an OS command AFTER processing, in your receiver CC, which move the created file from the "temp" folder to the target folder.

  • File conversion and append file in receiver file adapter

    Hi
    I have a batch IDoc -> XI(3.0) -> file scenario with file conversion to create a flat CSV-like file. The problem is that because of the amount of data sent from R/3 (~20000 employees), the idoc is split into several idocs. In my receiver file adapter I want to append all the idocs contained in this data transfer to one flat file, before transmitting to FTP server.
    For the next batch transfer (the next day) XI should start all over and create a new file and append all idocs contained in that transfer before transmitting the flat file to FTP server.
    Can this be done using the 'Use Temporary File' and 'Append' options in the FTP connection Parameters in the comm-channel?
    It is not an option to append the file in the FTP-server, because the files in the destination folder are moved immediately after arrival, so the file will be moved before file adapter can append all the files.
    Does anyone have any suggestions to how to solve this?
    Br
    Kenneth

    Hi Kenneth
    Did you ever get a solution to this problem?
