Viewing video from email

hi all
is there a reason i cannot view video from email sent to me by friends,everytime i try and open them nothing happens at all
ive got and iphone 3g s if that helps

What type of video are they sending? Is it in a format that is supported by the iPhone (supported types are on the Tech Specs page http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html )

While I don't use a Mac, I belive you connect the device to the computer via USB and then import the file using a file utility similar to what you do when you import digital pictures. I'm guessing that the Mac has something like this?

I can't import and view videos from a camera. Even if I open the file and copy the .avi files onto the hard drive. I have tried iMovie, Quicktime, and Flip player. Flip player will open it but I only get the audio, Quicktime freezes, and iPhoto tries to automatically import only to then error saying the files are not compatible.

try the following:
1. delete preferences (com.apple.iMovie.plist) and empty the trash
2. repair disc permissions with Disc Utility and reboot your mac
3. use Diskwarrior or MacJanitor for disc clean-up
4. disconnect any other firewire devices
5. take off any non-system desktop pictures
If nothing else helps, you might want to consider resetting your Firewire port(s)

Well any videos i upload via itunes are fine and can be viewed ok...
What i am doing (and tried using my and 2 other different phone types) is recording something from my phone and sending it to her phone.
The sound is fine but no video.
All are saved in MP4 format on our phones which i know the iphone can play...
Just annoying... its her phone so it doesnt bother her much but it sure has put me off buying one myself... never had this trouble with any other phone... im sticking with my nokia n95 8gb i think!

Live streaming of a non-Flex View video from PC to TV via any FiOS capabilities

Hey all -
Is it possible to, using any capability of FiOS/Flex View, stream a live video from my laptop to my TV? There is an annual competition from Europe I watch every year (only available on the web to US viewers) and it requires a special plug-in so I can only view it from my laptop, unless of course I use an adapter to plug it into my TV (which I can, but prefer not to do if FiOS/Flex View has such an option).
Going through the Manager software, I couldn't locate anything like that, but for all I know I've just overlooked it or maybe someone has figured out a way to do this successfully.

I do apologize, but there is no way for that to happen. The Flex View or Media Manager software does not have the ability to stream live video broadcasts to your television. Looks like the adapter you were talking about is the best way to go. Enjoy your competition!

AIrplay is not supported on 1st gen, I assume you have a 2nd gen (black box). Not all apps are enabled for AirPlay, this would be up to the developers to do

to remove any video from the ipod you need to remove adn delete it from the itunes library. Go to the itunes music library locate the video and delete it (!doing so will not allow you to reovcer it later!) or move it to a different locatuiion on your harddrive but NOT in ituens. After syncing the ipod the next time the vidoe will be removed. THis is the same format for removiing music from the ipod as well.

Chipmunk sounds when viewing videos from websites

hello,
i have several HP dc5850 workstations in my office. Most of my people need to view video content from different websites from time to time.
However when we listen to the playback, the sound we here sounds like that of a chipmunk. Like it is in fast forward mode or something. This is using Microsoft Windows Media Player.
Has anyone come over this issue and how was it resolved?

Saving video from email with IOS 8

Let me start by saying I am such a huge apple fan but I absolutely HATE IOS8. So many obvious features which appear to have been stripped it is driving me insane! One of which is the ability to save a video to my phone from my email.
Does anyone know a way to do this? I frequently email myself instagram teaser videos for promotional things then I save them from my email and post them to instagram through my phone. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this with IOS8. There appears no way to save videos from my email.

After researching, I was about to reset the network settings but came across a quick fix of toggling the on/off button to airplane mode instead. For whoever had the same question, here is the link I followed:

Copy and create your own project (SERVER side)
Then on other pc (CLIENT side) run JMStudio and open RTP transmission: you will receive data but on server you will have a black window.
I've modified only AVtransmit3.java -> look at Main() and modify dest-ip and port.

Issue in viewing video from AMS on flash's default player for first click of play stream on player

FMLE is streaming to AMS and Adobe default flash player is trying to view stream from AMS - i need to hit "Play Stream" button for 2-3 times to view video on Default adobe's flash player.
This issue is 100% reproducing every time.
please help to resolve this issue.

Any one has such problem.
Every time i play stream in flash player i have to hit play stream botton 2-3 times, this issue can be reproduced with default videoplayer.html.

Viewing videos from TV program

Sometimes I miss a TV show. The TV network allows you to view videos of the show after the program has aired. When I try to see the video, it plays about 1 second, then stops while loading, plays another second, stops to load, etc. Is there any way to be able to see the video without so many interruptions? Is there something I need to add to my software to help with this problem?

Make sure you have the following installed:
Flip4Mac
VLC Media Player
Perian (AVI and FLV support)
Make sure you have the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player Software
Since you are using the basic OS, you will need to update to the latest OS which is 10.5.6. You will also need to download all the other software that is listed on Software Update.
You will need to repair permission and restart your computer prior to & after all of the above installations.

How to view videos from iPhone on a PC?

How can I view videos that I took on my iPhone4 on a PC? Even in Quick Time, the ".mov" files show up as a single picture.

I dont think your quicktime is working correctly. Its supposed to show as a video in quicktime.
