Viewing WVC210 on cell phone

Has anyone been able to view their camera over their cell phone? I am on Sprint and have a Blackberry Curve 8330. I see the welcome screen but when I try to view the video it says it cannot open an xmlhttp session or something like that. Any help?

Yes, to view your Camera on your Blackberry Curve 8330 you do not have to use http:// , instead you need to use the TZO domain name of the camera from our cell phone browser like rtsp://MyName.MyLinksysCamera.com/xxxxx (where xxxxx is the access code you set within the mobile streaming section)...
Your Blackberry Curve 8330 does support RTSP streaming...
Also on your router's web interface click on the Security tab and disable 'Block Anonymous Internet Request'.
Also uncheck the Blackberry under Single Port Forwarding and save the changes, goto Port Range Forwarding -
Application Name : Blackberry
Start : 554
End : 554
Protocol : Both
To IP Address : Enter the fixed IP address assigned to your camera...
Check the Enable box and save the changes...See if this works...

With WVC54GCA , I can easily watch my camera when I'm abroad from my cell phone by typing the following :

However I could not get http:///img/mjpeg.htm working on my Core Player

It's the same in Dreamweaver's Live view. It shows the new color on Desktop view and not in the cell phone or tablet view. Can someone please explain. I want to be able to change the fonts and colors for viewing in the tablet and cell phone, also. The fonts were all standard fonts. Hi All, First off I am not too swift when it comes to trouble shooting on my computer....that being said, heres my issue, I was sent a 'picture message' ( it is actually a movie ) from a Rogers cell phone to my hotmail email on my PC.Everytime I try to view it a screen comes up stating I require Quick Time 6 to view. I have repeatedly downloaded the Quick Time 7 that is available as a free download so I do have Qick Time on my PC but I am still not able to view this movie.....Does ANYONE have a simple solution or suggestion for me??

durability..... seen too many cracked Apple screens. Takes a lot of punishment without needing a THICK "bumper"
brightness.... notice how dim iPhone screens are on bus compared to other phones?
data compression.... doesn't rack up my data plan. Doesn't have Siri. Blackberry uses 1/3 or 1/6 the data compared to other phones. Very important, especially when travelling
BBM saves me money when texting with other international BBM users.
the 9810 sliding mechanism means the phone is compact when not used, but grows in size when needed
the 9810 keyboard does not shrink my viewing area when I'm typing

Video Streaming from multiple camera to cell phone.

I have about 5 webcams on a network in a different city. One of these webcams I have been successful at setting up live video streaming to my cell phone. However when I tried to setup and view a second camera (same model), but I cannot get it to successfully load and view. The second camera has a different access code also.
Any Suggestions?

Router is a WRT300N.
Like I stated earlier, one of these cams I can stream fine to my backberry storm,(Port 554 is forward to the ip address of the camera) but can't seem to configure the other for cell phone viewing.
All cameras can be viewed via http via computers.

Photoshop 6 locked up while trying to upload cell phone pic...need help!!!!

I tried to upload 97 pictures from my cell phone to photoshop elements 6 on my computer. The first 31 uploaded then photoshop became locked up and I can't do anything with it. I went back through my camera and turns out there were 2 videos of my daughter riding her bike for the first time that come right after picture 31..This has apparently caused the lockup but I don't know what to do. The adobe phone line help support guy had no idea either and said he could'nt support 6.o anyway and sent me to this forum he said was run my adobe photoshop engineers who could help me. I was able to upload all 97 pix plus the two short videos to a windows viewer on my comupter and have deleted the videos off my cameras memory card. When I tried to upload the 97 pix again to photoshop 6.0 it locks up and says these pix already exist in photoshop. I'm very technologically challenged and haven't backed up the pictures on my photoshop in a couple years (Yes..I know..not smart!) So, can one please tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks so much!!!!!!

Did you manage to find a solution for this? We are in NZ and having the same issue across out network of agency computers... Our IT supports answer is to overhaul the machines (at a huge cost!) but we're not even sure this is going to work... a bit ridiculous that you pay for a product you can't use properly and then have to pay for someone to fix it, which even then, might not work!
If you haven't found a solution, we did find a way around the vaildation for Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Bridge. At the validation screen if you click on the text to sign in as another user, it takes you to another screen. Resign in as the same user (yourself) and then it should let you access these programmes. Although you have to do it everytime you open it. Unfortunately we can't get it to work at all for Acrobat, it lasts about 2 seconds and then automatically quits.

I don't think you can simply save a desktop design as a cell phone design. While in Muse and in the site plan view for you website you should see three tabs near the top of the page. If you click the "Phone" tab, you will get a pop-up dialog box asking which element you would like to copy over from your desktop site (if any). You must then design the site for cell phone use. You can use the same objects, pictures, etc. from your desktop site and Muse should automatically optimize those elements for phone use. However, Muse does not automatically take a desktop design and create a cell phone design from it.
As I understand it, Muse uses user-agent detection to decide which site it wants to display to the user. You however, need to create the different versions of your site so that Muse can apply a specific design for the intended use.

Apple-centric Cell Phone Puchase Tale (or, a little knowledge is dangerous)

It has been four years since my last cell phone purchase. (Catholics giggle here). So I bought a new one.
After looking at this page (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/devices.html) it seemed like Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Nokia where my best options to use iSync for an Apple-centric phone. An Apple Care guy told me that he never had iSync problems with his Motorola phones, but I like the usability and solidness of Nokias (I like that they tend to be a little heavier). Sony Ericsson is my second favorite for usability reasons. My girlfriend and I must have the same carrier because 80% of our minutes are with each other, and she was under contract with Cingular. I wanted a good camera. Internet connectivity was a nice bonus, but I didn't want to pay a lot for a data plan.
In the end I bought a Nokia 6682:

The problem with getting high-end phones is:
...Most carriers do not pick up high-end phones because of low demand in US. This means that you have to buy a very expensive unlocked version (and a carrier may not service the warranty for the phone).

Things I Iearned:
...CNet.com is a great resource for getting to know a phone. They have video demos, objective data, a review from an expert, and several reviews from readers. Wikipedia was useful to get an objective point of view and to explain all of the jargon.
...Buying a phone (for anything more than voice) takes a lot of time because there are so many factors to balance (carrier, manufacturer, features, value, Apple connectivity)
...If you want a high-end GSM phone, I think you need T-Mobile service, because they are the only carrier supporting the 1900 frequency (although T-mobile apparently has the worst coverage of the big four)
...While there is only one Nokia store in the nation so far (Chicago), at least one mall (Pentagon City Mall in DC) has a Nokia Experience information kiosk (they don't sell phones, but they have knowledgeable staff and lots of phones to touch, including "coming soon" phones)
...A good way to compare phones is to do a Google search on the phone that you want, and then right click to open up the first ten results in new tabs. Then open up a new browser window, do a Google search on a different phone, open up ten tabs... compare, rinse, repeat.
