Vimeo upload , and then PRE 13 locks up

Hi I am using W7 64 bit, 16gb Ram on a NEW Dell M4800 AMD FirePro M5100 Mobility Pro with 2GB GDDR5 dedicated memory,, i'm using the latest Driver from AMD,, my pc is no slow coach :-) ..
When uploading direct from within PRE 13 to my Vimeo HD account , (I have a paid subscription at Vimeo Plus level), the video uploads ok, but after upload has finished the software locks up, Task manager says it still running OK , but the software locked up.
I then have to kill the task , ctrlk alt del etc to close the application.
Is this a Bug ? or am i doing something in correct?

So, In my case on this problem, I have systematically narrowed it down to the Shockwave Flash plugin in the Firefox add-ons. When I disable this FF addon Firefox no longer locks up but it does disallow any Flash operations on pages that use them. The pages will still load and operate but the Flash files will not run. It's not a total solve yet, but it's more than Mozilla is offering here in this forum.
Don't un-install and re-install FF... it won't fix a thing. To disable Shockwave Flash (in version 3.6.13) go to a simple page like Google (that doesn't use Flash) and open Tools/Add-ons and select the plugins box at the top. Then scroll down to Shockwave Flash and on the right-hand side "Disable" this action.
I can only assume (that in my case) this addon has become corrupt and needs to be somehow removed and updated.
I hope that this helps some (if not most) who are having this problem and I will perhaps offer an update soon as to how to (simply) get Flash back working again in FF. But since I don't get paid by Mozilla I don't exactly have time to keep chipping away at the answer to their obvious "hanging" problem.

Locking a table and then releasing the lock...

Do the following steps..
GO TO SE11
Select the radio button "Lock object"..
Give the name starts with EZ or EY..
Example: EYTEST
Press Create button..
Give the short description..
Example: Lock object for table ZTABLE..
In the tables tab..Give the table name..
Example: ZTABLE
Save and generate..
Your lock object is now created..You can see the LOCK MODULES..
In the menu ..GOTO -> LOCK MODULES..There you can see the ENQUEUE and DEQUEUE function

Did anyone try to upload and then display documents using HTML5 technology. Also recently i came across SAP is using Crocodoc,"an HTML5 documents to display their presentations". I welcome all of your thoughts and suggestions.

I have the same need as vudean. I don't understand the security issue. If I type a document using Pages or whatever, why can't I upload the document to a web site? I think Apple should make the standard web "file upload control" available to iPad users.
I understand that there should be some limitations, but it should be possible to upload standard user files. I can upload them to Dropbox, so I don't se the big difference.
Does Apple read this? If not, where can I propose this feature to them?

Displaying "uploading" and then "initializing" progress bar?

Can somebody point me to the right direction here. I am uploading images and its showing "uploading" status, then server resizes images and i want to show "initializing" status while its resizing. And i want to show two different preloaders for uploading and initializing.

You can use ProgressBar for both. You might want to set indeterminate mode
for the resizing unless you have info from the server about how far along it
is.

My ipod is showing an "activation required" message on my home screen and the slider to unlock it is not working. I've had it for 2 years and had no problems and then it randomly locked up on me and won't let me do a reset. Any way to fix this?

I haven't been able to use my ipod for a month because its stuck on a screen that says "Activation Required" and the slider to unlock it is unresponsive. next thing i would think of is to ask bestbuy apple retailer or bestbuy pple to help u out from here bc im not sure what to do next if u cant get it into dfu mode.
all i can think of is to hold home and power for 30 seconds in the meantime of showing the apple sign at least once or twice.
either that, home and power flashes once and 1/2 sec later release power while holding home still and plug it in wihout trying to let go the home button. dont even let go until itunes says somthing remotly saying anything ...lol

1. That's a scare fostered by the web site. It's to scare Windows users. It's a pop up. Disable pop ups in Safari by going to the menu: Safari>Block Pop-Up Windows.
2. Get a bluetooth mouse if you like.
3. You may need a converter to change gif's to jpg's. GraphicConverter. Or check at versiontracker.com for freeware.
4. Tiger right now is 10.4.11. Many doubt that Apple will update it other than security updates. However, this OS should be strong for many years. No need to get Leopard now.

How To UPLOAD a DATA (.DAT) fiel from PC to internal table and then split it into the data different columns

I am new to ABAP Development. I need to upload a .DAT file (the file doesn#t have any proper structure-- Please find the .DAT file in the attachment). After uploading the DATA (.DAT) fiel I need to split in into different columns. Refering the attached .DAT fiel the fields in bracets like:
[Arbeitstag], [Pecunia], [Mita], [Kunde], [Auftrag] and [Position] are different fields that need to be arranged in columns in an internal table. this .DAT fiel which I want to upload and then SPLIT it into various fields will will treated as MASTER DATA table for further programming. The program that I had written is as below. Also please refer the attached .DAT table.
Please if any one could help me. i searched a lot in different forums but couldn't find me a solution. Also note that the attached fiel is in text (.txt) format here but in real situation the same fiel is in DATA (.DAT) format.

For every Auftrag, there are multiple Position entries.
Rest of the blocks don't seems to have any relation.
So you can check this code to see how internal table lt_str is built whose first 3 fields have data contained in Auftrag, and next 3 fields have Position data. The structure is flat, assuming that every Position record is related to preceding Auftrag.

Macbook Pro won't boot past grey screen with Apple logo and then shuts off

This is a long story...
This morning, I would turn it on and it'd go to the grey screen with the Apple logo for a few seconds and then go to the icon that is a circle with a line through it. After reading online, I was able to boot it up in Safe Mode. I messed around a little bit in system preferences thinking I could fix it on my own, not really knowing what I was doing (I'm a *******). I went to Startup Disk in Preferences. I chose the MAC OS X, xxxx and then clicked the lock to prevent further changes and then clicked restart.
Now when I turn on the macbook, it goes to the grey screen with the Apple logo for at least two-three minutes and then just shuts off. Won't boot into Safe Mode now. Please help. I already tried the Command-Option-P-R keys trick like five times.

If you have a full retail DVD for 10.6 you can boot from that by holding the C key during startup...but you will then be in install mode if that is what you want to do. At least go ahead and see if it will boot ok from the 10.6 disk and then you can decide what you want to do further.
Apple does not have 10.5 for sale anymore from what some other users have said on here so if you want to go that route you will have to find a copy for sale such as from eBay or one of the Mac resellers.
Before taking the machine to someone, try booting from 10.6 and see if that works...that way you can narrow down problems the machine may be having.

ITunes and Vista -- iTunes keeps locking up

I'm running iTunes on a new Vista machine. Every now and then, it will lock up and I will get a message saying iTunes is not working. Then it automatically closes the program. Is this a bug with the new iTunes software? I'm running the latest version, and never had this problem before. I'm just afraid I'll lose all my playlists, etc., if this keeps happening. I do have everything backed up, though.

It's a Windows thing.
On XP, right-click on My Computer from your desktop. Choose Manage > System Tools > Event Viewer > Application and see if there is anything from itunes around the timestamp it crashed.
I'm sure it's fairly similar for Vista.

My ipad2 has locked. When I switch on its asks me to connect to iTunes which it does. Prompts me to restore and then gives an error message (11)

My ipad2 has crashed. Tried to do an update last night. Upload bar moved 1cm then locked stayed like that all night. I have switched off and then on again and its prompting me to connect to itunes. Once connected it says to restore. It starts this process and then stops with an error message (11) I cant access anything on it not even the battery charge indicator shows. What do I do?
