Vinyl LPs to iTunes. Advice and Opinions wanted.

I want to start comverting my old LPs to audio files and was wondering if anyone has done it and had advice. I am thinking about getting a new turntable with built in preamp and the software I am leaning towards is "Spin it again." But I want to make it easy adding them to my iTunes library and on my iPod. I hope that someone has gone through this process and I can learn from all your hard work. Thanks ahead of time.

The method I use to record vinyl is to connect the turntable (through the Tape-out sockets of the amplifier) to the audio-in socket of the computer. On the computer you'll need audio editing software to capture and edit the resulting long file into individual tracks that can be added to the iTunes Library. There are a number of commercial programs for this (I use Sound Studio for the Mac but there are Windows programs). If want to try out the process first you could try the open source program Audacity which has Linux, Mac and Windows versions at this link: Audacity
In addition to the software you'll need RCA to 3.5 mm audio plug cables to connect the Tape Out sockets of your amplifier to the audio inputs of your computer. You cannot merge Apple ID's. Copied from Apple's FAQ about Apple ID's.
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.

Syncing is the only way. Explain what you mean by "doesn't seem to work." Exacty, what did you do and what happend.
Are you sure your iPhone is signed into the same iTunes Store account as iTunes on your computer?

Never mind speaking another language, writing in it is awsome. Mind you even I am making an assumption that English is not your first language which may not be the case.
To your question, it would depend on why you think you may be entitled to a refund, if the app is totally falsely advertised you may have a chance. If it is just that you don't actually like it you may have less chance. Give it a go.

iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

You would have to sign in with your account. Be aware that an iDevice or Mac or PC can only be associated with a particular iCloud/ iTunes in the Cloud account once every 90 days. So if you associate your iTunes in the cloud/Match account with her iPhone ,she will have to wait 90 days before going back to HER itunes in the cloud account.

This could be a result of Automatic Downloads not being enabled, the apps were too large to download via the cellular data network or a cellular data connection was not available at the time of download. The best option would be to download the missing apps via the steps in the second article below.

Stop using it. Take your credit card info out of it.
No need to do anything else.
All purchases made from that account will still be tied to the account so you will have to authorize your computer to that account as well.

How do I swap payments from one account to another. I've managed to block one of my iTunes accounts due to not knowing security questions. However I have 40£ on old iTunes account and now want it on my new account?

You can't transfer an acocunt's balance to another account.
You might be able to re-enable that account via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
For the security questions, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

If I have two iTunes accounts, and only want one to update my apps why does the other account keep opening?

Here's the issue-I have two iTunes accounts, yet account #1 always comes up when I want to update my apps. This occurs even when account #2 is logged in and has been synced from desktop to iPad. Additionally,Account #2 is logged in on the iPad and yet account #1 prompt appears when updating. Interestingly account #2 functions normal for iTunes purchases but not apps purchases. Any suggestions?

Apps will ALWAYS be tied to the account from which they were purchased. You will always have to update the apps from the account from which they were purchased.
