Vinyl transfer to CD through iTunes?
Is there a way to import songs from vinyl records into iTunes and burn them on to a CD?

As well as iMic, there are a couple of other options. The main thing you need, apart from a turntable of course, is an amplifier to convert the signal from analog to digital. This can be done by way of a turntable with built-in amplifier made especially for this purpose. Here is Australia there is one sold by Dick Smith Electronics which is the same as your Radio Shack. It sells here for $99.00, so it would be about $70.00 in your money.
If you would rather use a turntable you already have, then either iMic or something like XP Sound (XP201) which is what I use. It connects between the turntable and your computer to digitise the sound.
You will also need software. There are lots around that you can find either through Version Tracker or a Google. I use Sound Studio, not free but it does everything I need it to and more. From there you can import to iTunes and then burn your CD.

If you mean previously purchased music, then you cannot, unless you are in the U.S. Then you can use the recently released icloud ( beta version).

I purchased 8 new songs to use for a Movie Maker project through iTunes. They will not back up to my computer iTunes folder. I am certain I am doing something wrong but can not figure it out. I have already done the FILE > DEVICES > TRANSFER PURCHASES and it didn't work. Any advice is welcome.

If you can't obtain a retail install DVD from Apple, look on eBay or Google the installer part numbers to possibly find at an on-line store. Here's what to look for:

I downloaded 2 cds onto my ipod nano through itunes. Recently my itunes account changed for some unknown reason and now it doesn't recognize the songs from the cds. The songs are still on my ipod. I am affraid to sync now because the songs may be deleated, and I don't have the cds anymore. How can I transfer the songs from the cds on my ipod back to itunes so that I don't lose them?
What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not your "account." The "account" you have for iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use when purchasing or downloading from the iTunes Store. If these songs came from music CDs that you imported into iTunes, those songs are not related to your Apple ID.

How are they not "recognized"? Are the songs still listed in your iTunes music library, but grayed out? They no longer appear in your iTunes library at all?
If you search your computer (not in iTunes) for the song files, using one of the song names, can you find the song files? -
For a couple months now, every movie purchase through iTunes fails to transfer to my iPhone or iPad giving me the error: "some of the items in the iTunes library, including were not copied to the iPad because you are not authorized for them on this computer". I have read many forums about deleting, reinstalling, de-authorizing and authorizing my iMac through the iTunes store. Many suggestions don't work except to rename the movie to *.MP4 in Finder under the iTunes movie directory. I imagine this is a setting or a bug somewhere... any suggestions on how to bypass having to rename the files in Finder? My research into Google suggests this problem dates back to 2007 or so but it is now more prevalent than ever.

IBook repaired, songs bought through iTunes will not transfer back to iPod
i found the way to get my songs from my iPod to my computer, but now all of the songs i bought through iTunes will not go back to my iPod. error message is "some of the songs, including "so-and-so" (actually it's Alice Cooper's Feed my Frankenstein :)HA!) were not moved to the iPod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer." the problem is, this is the same computer, it's just been wiped by Apple and i reinstalled everything. i see in one of these forums that you can apparently double click on the song to get it to transfer back, but i have about 3000 songs, so it's hard to tell what i bought from iTunes from what i had already. can anyone help me do this in one foul swoop? I got rid of my old computer (too slow) and bought a new laptop. I have iTunes on my laptop but my phone doesn't let me transfer files to it. Help, please.
It's impossible to restore anything from a device, unless it was purchased on iTunes.
You must MUST MUST keep a backup of your library.
To restore any purchases, go to the iTunes Store and click on "Purchases", which will let you download Music, Apps, and Books that were bought through iTunes. Unfortunately, anything that wasn't can't be transferred.
iTunes will sync back purchased music from the iPhone when you plug it in. -

I set up my iPhone on my old computer and had transferred photos onto the phone through iTunes. That computer has since crashed, and I was unable to untinstall itunes before it crashed. I would like to transfer the photos from my iPhone to my new computer to free up some space on my iPhone. Sine these are not pictures that i took with the iPhone, how do I transfer them to a computer? These are baby pictures of my kids, and I do not want to lose them but am out of space on my phone.
So I ended up uploading all of them to Google Drive. Took 8 hours, but I got it done. However, now I can't delete any of these pictures from the iPhone. Can anyone help me with that? Because the computer that I originally registered my phone with on itunes is not longer operational, I can't figure out how to do this.
