Violation of Apple/ Android Terms?

I am planning to develop a cross platform Adobe AIR application for mobiles, which will be distributed through Andorid and Apple stores as a free app. The users will download this app and to see the available content, they are charged a fee. Once the user pays the required fee, the content will be download on to his device. This content is hosted on other server for downloading. We would be having a separate payment gateway for bill process rather than going through the Apple/ Android. Now, the question is whether Apple/ Android charges some fee whenever a user downloads this paid content. Is this any violation against their terms? Kindly, suggest as the answers would form the basis for building this application?

Why are other online companies, like eBay, amazon, are able to do it while apple can't? Why does apple have the restriction in a country that does not have an apple, iTunes Store? Why can't Apple have an alternative to those rules.
Why can't I buy from a local store while I am visiting that country?
And why is apple violate my privacy by using location services reading my IP address while I have that turned off.

Does downgrading my iPhone from iOS6 to iOS5 break Apple's terms and conditions?

Hi everyone!
I've installed the iOS6 on my iPhone 4s yesterday and was really disappointed by the fact that it drains the battery much faster then iOS5.
I found some instructions on the internet on downgrading the operating system on the iDevices.
So I downloaded the 5.1.1 and am about to downgrade it.
But before I do it, I would like to know if it breaks any of Apple's terms&conditions.
And will I loose anything (except for iOS6) after performing the downgrade.

Don't do it. Attempting to downgrade is very likely to permanently and irreversibly break your iPhone, if not right away, perhaps when you try to upgrade its OS in the future.
Your warranty will also be void:

Yes, and you will also find dozens of pleas for help on this forum every day, asking what to do when downgrading bricks their phone. The only guaranteed solution is to buy a new one.

Violation of iTunes Store terms of use

You will be violating the iTunes Store terms of use if you try to purchase from your home store, the iTunes Store you registered with, from another country. Apple will not discuss this with you nor will help you any any way to resolve the issue. Apple does not have an alternative way for customers that like to buy while traveling.
Since I travel a lot I find the need to buy from iTunes, or do an InApp purchase, but I can't do that, apple is now violating my privacy by tracking my IP address to find out my location even if I have location turned off on my device.
I have tryed to find another way to buy while in a different country without violating the terms but I was not able to find one that is easy. You can't even use a gift card because the gift card can only be used in the country you are in, while my id is registered in a different country I am not allowed to use them.
The only way to be able to buy while traveling is creat an account from that country, which means you have to have an address and a credit card tied to that address, can't be done if you are just visiting for a little while. If you are able to do that you will have to have different ID, different address, different credit card for each country you visit.
Apple is selling a device that now can only be used in one country. Their answer to that was you can still use your e mail, Internet, and other applications, not all of them.
Apple does not have an answer to what to do if you are in a counrptry that does not have an App Store, iTunes Store. Why it would be a violation of terms if the country you are in does not have it's own store.
I want to use my device the way I want to use it anywhere I am physically at, why the restrictions. I can still buy from any other online store without being physically in that country, it's up to that online store, or apple to pay the taxes and fees for that country, if that is the problem.
So let's all complain to apple and ask them to change this term, or at least give us an alternative we can use.

I need a "viewer" app run in a desktop machine... via p2p... ( done and working )
I will like to include it in my iOS / Android Release, an then by example move it to the documents folder.
Run iTunes and then copy the file from the shared document folder.
Is this permited by apple / android / adobe ?

just tracing some kind of tests I'm doing.
A couple of hours ago I left working 2 instances of my Application, leaving alone this computer: one instance is the Mac desktop version and the other one is the Web version. In this case both versions were running on the same computer (an iMac with OS X Mavericks):
1) the AIR/Mac version have been recompiled yesterday with the new AIR4(.0.0.1619 - AIR 3.8 is used to fall in a equivalent way - no changes)
2) the Web version have been compiled targeting FP 11.8 and it is running on Chrome browser with PepperFlash NOT disabled (which reports version MAC 13.0.0.80, the latest)
I left working both the Mac and the Web versions of the Application opened on the pc screen (= not minimized) but kept totally behind some Terminal/ssh windows (= not on OS focus and the system is not asked to update any screen area of the app for sure).
I came back after about 2 hours and I got the browser version connected&running (but it is not a rule) and I also found the AIR-based Mac version disconnected (uau, usually I found the app disconnected but with the screen freezed at last user look ->) which rapidly reconnects upon my click on the Apple dock icon (bring to front).
Why these different behaviours? I ask to myself.
The two versions of the software are TOTALLY the SAME application: except for the first Flash file (a 24kb swf file for the Web version and a 170kb dmg file for the Mac version), basically a platform-dependent loader, both versions loads the same remote swf modules. Of course t is AIR (or my first Flash file?).

Help Uploading Apps Ont market place for apple/Android/Blackberry

So we are currently in the Pre-Release program with adobe and we have a few questions that we need to know ASAP
With the prerelease we do not have access to the online viewer builder
But we do have access to the content bundler and viewer builder off the desktop programs.
Our main question is can we make multiple apps within one Adobe Id?
Our Magazine needs to have issues that fit different screen sizes. So we have made different stacks that fit each different tablet. We already made different stacks that fit the many aspect rations of the different devices such as: IPAD (1024x768), XOOM (1280X800) and BLACKBERRY PLAYBOOK (1024X600).
We used the Content Bundler to Create the Ipad app for a multi Folio to have a Retail issue as well as a free one. Then we used the viewer builder to export the zip file to send to Apple. Which is currently waiting for approval. Our next step was to create the multi folio to fit android devices. So we put all the stacks together and eventually made a free issue and a retail issue. Now in the main tab it shows 4 different Issues; 2 for the ipad (1024X768) and 2 for the xoom (1280X800).
So we then tried making a viewer for an android device through our account in the viewer builder. After linking all the certificates and filling everything out we eventually made an .apk file. The thing is now it shows all 4 issues instead of just the 2 that fit the android xoom device.
Our main question is if we delete the 2 Ipad versions in the Content bundler under the manage tab, will that effect the App that we sent to apple? or should that be fine because we exported it as a zip file?
We also want to create other applications for other Android devices (With different screen sizes). So would we just have to continually delete things off the content builder through the manage tab or is there another way to do this?

Now if we want to upload to Blackberry's market place they said we need to have a .bar file. so how do we make that in the viewer builder on the desktop (the prerelease version) because it only lets us make .apk files or .zip????

If you're still using prerelease software, go over to the prerelease forum. Search for "renditions" in the user guide PDF, and read about how you can create various folio renditions. When you create folio renditions of different sizes, the viewer picks the right rendition based on the viewer dimensions. If you're using the current tools to create renditions, the information is here:

One important note. When you create folios for the Xoom, account for the 48-pixel navigation bar that's part of the Honeycomb interface. For a dual-orientation folio, create a custom 1232x752 folio and document size.

If you've activate correctly you should get it reported by the Apple support system when you enter your MBP serial number. You'll find it at the bottom of the Apple Support web page…

Today, i went to the carrier support, and they told "We don't wave that kind of error in our "Error List", so we can't replace your phone". That's a lie, because Apple support this.

that message comes out when a device is plug in the dock or in the headphone jack, you need to turn off device and use some can air in charge dock and heaphone dock, a reset with home+sleep button is recomend too

Can I order an international iTunes card to the US?

I am an American and have been looking at various ways to set up an international account (German to be precise) in order to expand my horizons and better my German. After a couple attempts, I think that I can set one up if I can get a German iTunes card. Can I order one from Apple or do I need to go through a third-party (i.e. Amazon)?

Apple does not authorize any seller of iTunes cards to ship outside of their country. Whether someone would be willing to violate those terms I can't say.
But even if you get a card, as KP said you would not be able to use set up an iTunes Store account in the German store without a valid mailing address there, and then would be in violation of Apple's terms of service where you agree not to even attempt to use an iTunes Store from outside of its country.
There's nothing more we can say on the subject.

There is no law against it, if that's what you mean. If you are concerned that it may be in violation of Apple's terms for the Mac App Store, you can contact Mac App Store Customer Service and bring it to their attention.
Since this app is a subscription-based service, though, and the company is allowing you a 30-day trial subscription (as publishers have with newspaper and magazine subscriptions), it probably falls within the terms of the App Store. I would presume that Apple wouldn't have approved it if it did not.

Are two credit cards from two countries possible on itunes?

We travel between USA and Switzerland and have an address in each country. Would it be possible to for example add my Swiss credit card and not lose my USA access? I understand that I may have to switch stores.

If you want to keep everything under one AppleID you could keep switching stores but you are only allowed to do that every 90 days. You have to use a US card when logged into the US Store, the Swiss card when using the CH Store.
I guess you could set up another AppleID and run a second country off that. People manage media when using multiple AppleIDs within a family and I guess it wouldn't be any more of a nuisance. I guess it depends upon how often you travel back and forth and balancing the hassle of changing countries vs. managing two AppleIDs. Strictly speaking, according to the terms of use you are only supposed to use a country's store when physically present in the country. In reality I have seen people say openly here they use their accounts from another country and long-term contributors here suggesting it and the posts were ignored by the Apple hosts (who normally take down anything in violation of Apple's terms of use) so go figure.

When you enter the Developer program, you have to leave the internet in a sense. You are entering a business relationship with Apple. That is why developers have to submit personal information and cannot act anonymously unless they have a legal right to do so (via a corporation). You wouldn't want to put a successful app at risk by violating the Apple Developer terms of use which clearly state, "The Apple ID and password you use to login as a Registered Apple Developer cannot be shared in any way or with any one."
Furthermore, choosing to develops apps under a female name is, unfortunately, going to attract attention to begin with. It shouldn't matter, but it does.

You can try using iTunes to reset your iPod to factory settings. If that does not work, then you just go busted for installing beta software.
Installing beta software when you are not a registered beta tester, is a violation of Apple's Terms Of Use Agreement. What this means is that Apple is under no obligation to help you in any way, shape or form, so from this point on you are on your own....
