VIP list disappeared on iPhone 4

MY brother has an iPhone 4 which has all latest updates, but a prior VIP list was setup but now the list is not in the eMail list of boxes?

Mail VIP list disappears when logging out/back in

After upgrading mid-2011 iMac to Yosemite, my Mail application's VIP list disappears when I log out and log back in. I have to rebuild it each time by selecting VIP stars in each person's email.

A little more possibly-useful information:
The system typically gets into a bad state - neither firefox nor thunderbird able to start - after the computer goes to sleep (suspend) when I close the lid. Certain updates also break it. Yesterday I updated some rpm packages without incident, but updating the flash plugin caused problems.

Entire Contact List Disappears on iPhone 4s/iOS6 and Reappears

After switching to iOS6 my entire Contact List suddenly disappears. Mostly, a few minutes later it re-appears. If it doesn't then I need to disable iCloud Backup and then enable it. The Contacts disappear even when iCloud is disabled. I can't save any updates to Contacts either on iCloud or on iTunes. Any ideas?

Yes there is a location for the outgoing smtp server password, if it is incorrect or missing it will not send mail.
On the Gmail account preference pane locate the outgoing mail server, click the blue arrows and a list will open and Edit SMTP server will show. Select this and then select gmail and advanced, it will give a location for your email address and password.

Sounds as if someone inadvertently (or meanly) cleared the Recents list. The only way to get any of the information back would be to restore the phone from a recent back up.
Your carrier will also have a record of your calls. Many carriers offer the ability to log into your account and review billing details. You may need to wait until the end of your billing cycle, though.

Mobileme Album List disappearing from Aperture Library

My MobileMe Album list disappeared from my Aperture Library a few days ago.
Aperture activity window shows "MobileMe - Retrieving Album List" every time I start up Aperture, and quits without error messages, but no album list appears.
Anyone know how I can get my MobileMe album list back?

Upon further investigation of this new 'feature' I came upon the following.
In my above example, let's say I have my Library A open.
I can see the MobileMe albums of the other libraries (B and C) that do not belong in A.
I just clicked on a MM Album of library B and it is now synchronising the contents of this Album with my Library.
So now I have photo's of MM Albums B and C showing up INSIDE MY LIBRARY A
Good grief APPLE !
It get's even worse. The synced photo's manifest themselves inside smart folders, ilife media browser and iphone/ipad syncs !!!
I'm having genuine problems with some aspects of Aperture since version 3.0, there is an open bug in bugreporter that seems to be unsolvable, and after 8 months of bugfixing (february 3.0.1 to November 3.1) this is what they come up with ???
The worst part is that it seems this new 'feature' was intentional :

Not long ago my wife signed on to my Apple ID so she could get some of my songs. Maybe that has something to do with it? I double checked that my apple ID was the one that purchased the songs and is the current ID signed on to my phone. Also, just to see if it made any difference. I signed out of my ID and signed back in, now all of the songs that were listed and needing to be downloaded are gone completely. I went to iTunes and they are showing as purchased but not able to download. any suggestions?

To do list disappears

My to do list keeps disappearing. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when this happens or doesn't happen. Isn't it supposed to be permanent until it's deleted? Can it be accidentally deleted? Could these disappearing lists be hiding somewhere?

I am starting to have an issue whereby my to do list intermittently disappears completely. Events and calenders dont seem to be affected as I have noted in other threads, just the to do list. This disappearance seems to propagate over mobileme sync
__One or more of the iCal databases (including the iPhone) or MobileMe has some kind of file corruption which is getting into the Calendar.
Try this on all computers being synced:
First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
If the issue persists you may want to replace the databases on all the computers, phones, MobileMe with 1 master database. This is a longer and more complex process so see if the first steps take care of it.
By the way, why for gods sake cant we get the todo list on the iphone - has anyone got the answer for this yet?

My Notes are randomly disappearing on IPhone 4; is there anyway to retrieve them?

I have a Verizon iPhone 5 and just had a note disappear before my eyes...
I opened the app, was looking at the note, and it simply vanished...the app did not crash, and it is no longer listed in my list of notes...
This is not the first time my notes have gone missing with this new phone...never had this issue with my old iPhone 4...

Go to Settings/iTunes & App Stores and sign out. Then sign in with your new Apple email ID.

Stop using one. Everything you've previously purchased from it has that Apple ID stored inside the file, which can't be changed.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Please try the following…
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
