Could someone help me to find a virtual connect firmware download for the following c7000 chassis card:
HP 4Gb VC-FC Module
Plus the firmware version I need is 1.41 7.12.4.11
I cannot find this at all when looking at the HP site earlier.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!!

    Try this:
    Go into another PC (IF POSSIBLE)
    Then install the Zen software that came in your installation CD.
    Plug in Zen and download new firmware.
    The PC should recognize it and you will be able to get it into the player.
    After that you can go back to the other PC and see if it works out (it should).
    This worked for my micro a year ago.
    Otherwise, contact costumer support. Good luck!!

  • P1006 "Firmware Download Error" for non-administrator accounts

    Hello all,
    I have a problem with a HP LaserJet P1006 when printing from a user account that does not have administrator rights on a new Windows Vista 64-bit machine.
    The error message reads: "Firmware Download Error.  The printer was unable to communicate with your computer.  Please power cycle the printer, check the connection, and try again."
    On the original machine, this problem could only be fixed by unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable.  On another identical machine, it still prints, but the error message still occurs.
    Everything works great when logged in as administrator.  Also, there is no error message for the common user when bidirectional support is disabled, but then the printing is horedously slow and ties up the system.
    Anyone else see this error message or have any clues what to look for?

    Hi! I don't know how it's described in english, but I will try to tell a solution that worked for me. I just changed the security definitions of Windows for this printer. I'm from Brazil and I really don't know how it's show in english version of Brazil, but I'll try to explain: First of all, you need to log in as Administrator in the domain where the printer is installed. So, go to Start -> Configurations -> Printers and Fax Devices (shown "Impressoras e aparelhos de Fax" for me) Select the printer device that is reporting the firmware download error and open it. Go to the Printer menu (Impressora) and Properties (Propriedades). Select Security in the top of window. Ok, all you have to do is modify the Permissions for the users who have this problem. Allow they all to print and manage documents. This proceedement worked for me, and I hope works fine for everyone too. See you, bye. Até mais, tchau!

  • WRT160N v3 Incomplete Firmware Download Issue

    Using a wired connection I ran the firmware upgrade process.  Downloaded firmware Ver.3.0.03 Build 3  07/12/2010 from cisco/linksys site.  Mid way through the download, the process halted and exited.  Only way to access the router was via the setup CD.  However, when I get in, the usual router home page is not displayed.  The home page is displayed but, very menu item is titled "Basic Setup."  No more menu items for Wireless, Advanced Setting, Status, etc, etc.  When I select any one of the 8 different "Basic Setup" menu selections, all that I get is a black page on the browser.  Hence, I can't get to the the page to attempt another firmware download.  Hate to think that I now own a plastic brick.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    According to the scenario that you mentioned you can try to do the 30/30/30 Hard Reset. The following procedure will clear out the NVRAM and set Router back to default values:
    With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
    Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
    Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds....
    Then check the connectivity status…

  • HP P1006 firmware download error

    P1006 suddenly stopped working for no reason.
    Error just said firmware download error.  I hadn't asked for any drivers or downloads.
    HP print and scan doctor recommended removing the drivers and reinstalling the most recent one.
    So I have done this but the problem still persists.
    The documents just sit in the  virtual printing tray and no printing happens.
    I have scanned my pc for viruses and ludicrously the only detection is the Malsign.Generic.97C which is part of the driver for this product!!
    Any suggestions welcome as to how to get this printer working again as it has been brilliant.  If it was working last week I don't see why some software glitch should stop it working now.
    Many thanks

    Hello @MarieCurie ,
    Welcome to the HP forum.
    I understand you got an error message from your printer, and now it is no longer printing.
    I could not find an NVM reset for this unit. I could only find a hard reset.
    This is just a different way to say:
    While the printer is turned on unplug the power cord.
    Wait thirty seconds
    Plug the power cord for the printer directly to a wall outlet.
    If this does not help, I would call technical support. There will be a support fee, but if they can't get the unit working, then it is refunded.
    I recommend this because the firmware is the programing inside the laserjet.
    They may be able to provide the NVM reset that I can not locate.

  • C7000 & Virtual Connect FW update problem.

    Hi,
    I'm trying to update the firmware on some modules in my C7000 chassis.  The following are currently installed with firmware versions as stated.
    Onboard Administrator - 3.21
    HP 1/10Gb-F VC-Enet Module - 1.34
    HP Virtual Connect 4Gb FC Module - 1.41
    I'm trying to use the VCSU 1.70 to update the firmware to 3.51.  When I attempt the upgrade, it reports that there are problems with the HP Virtual Connect 4Gb FC Modules.  Status is reported as "Ip Connectivity: Unable to communicate with bay".  I am able to ping the individual HP Virtual Connect 4Gb FC Modules, so I'm not sure why this is happening.  I've re-seated the all the modules including the Onboard administrator.
    I noticed that in Firmware 1.34, there's a "Firmware Management" option in the Virtual Connect Manager web interface.  Should I use this instead to upgrade the firmware?

    I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure, I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums, since this is a commercial product. You can click here for the link.

  • Virtual Connect FlexFabric Stacking with VCEM

    Hi, we've got a C7000 chasis with 2 Virtual Connect FlexFabric, managed by Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager.
    It's already configured and running.
    Now we need to stack a new C7000, with 2 new Virtual Connect FlexFabric.
    Existing Virtual Connects have 4.10 firmware version, and the new ones come with 4.30 firmware version.
    I've read the "Virtual Connect Multi-Enclosure Stacking Reference Guide", but it only explains how to do it from standard Virtual Connect Manager, not from VCEM.
    Beeing a newbie to Virtual Connect there are some things that I'm not sure about.
    Can I do the stacking from Virtual Connect Manager, or do I need to do it from VCEM?
    Should I upgrade all virtual connects (existing and new) to 4.31 before stacking, or can I do it after stacking?
    Is there a way to downgrade new Virtual Connects from 4.30 to 4.10 so I can stack them without updating the running ones?
    In the Reference Guide it is not clear if I should cable the stacking links before or after adding the new enclosure to the VC Domain. When should I cable them?
    Thanks.

  • E3000 Firmware Download link missing

    Hello,
    I was searching for the firmware download for the Linksys e3000.
    Before I could find the download link on the site but after the site upgrade I only see cisco connect software...
    Thanks in advance!

    You can't download an AirPort or Time Capsule firmware update from the Apple website. Instead, you can install the update through AirPort Utility, so open it in /Applications/Utilities and follow the steps to install this update

  • How can I get the virtual connection from connection pool?

    Hi, All, I create the connection pool to Database, then call connPool->createConnetion("scoot","tiger") , it creates a new physical connection to database, not from connection pool. I check the busy number of connection in connection pool, it always 0.
    here is my code, please give me advice.Thanks!
    int minConn,maxConn,incrConn;
    minConn = 4;
    maxConn = 5; //nMax;
    incrConn = 1;
    if(env == 0x0)
    env = Environment::createEnvironment(Environment::DEFAULT);
    if (connPool == 0x0)
         connPool = env->createConnectionPool("scott", "tiger","test.oracle.com", minConn, maxConn, incrConn);
    // here already has 4 physical connections to database;
    Connection con,con2,*con3;
    Statement *stmt;
    int nBusy = connPool->getBusyConnections();
    //nBusy = 0
    try
    con = connPool->createConnection (szUser, szPassword);
    // create a new physical connection to database
    nBusy = connPool->getBusyConnections();
    //nBusy = 0
    con2 = connPool->createConnection ("scott", "tiger");
    nBusy = connPool->getBusyConnections();
    }catch(SQLExecption ex)
    cout<<ex.what();

    What you are creating are virtual connections. They do logons using the already existing connections in the pool. The real connections from the pool are picked only before doing a round-trip and released immediately after completing the round-trip. You can see the busyConnetions higher than 1, only when you are using the connections concurrently.

  • TS2756 When trying to update ITunes on my pc using my Iphone 4 personal hot spot via usb connection the download interups and will not install.

    When trying to update ITunes on my pc using Iphone 4 verizon personal hotspot via usb connection the download fails.

    I called this problem into Apple and they solved it for me.  The problem is in the downloader associated with iTunes.  Skip that step and go to Apple.com and download the new iTunes softwere update (Version 11.1) directly.  I did this and installed it successfully.  After restarting the computer iTunes recognized my phone and all was well.  Then I updated and installed the ios7 update without any problems.  No charge.  Full cudo's to Apple!

  • Creating logical/virtual connection object  from physical connection

    Can anybody help me what is creating logical/virtual connection object and how to create it from physical connection in java ??
    Thanks in advance...

    WHile you are waiting for an answer, you might want to review the related Oracle documentation:
    For 10g, all docco is at http://www.oracle.com/pls/db102/portal.portal_db?selected=3 and docco I suspect will help you is "Java Developer's Guide" and "JDBC Developer's Guide and Reference"

  • .rmt file missing from firmware download

    The readme file included with the firmware download zip file states to look for a .rmt file. There are only .txt files and a .bin file in the zip file. Are the instruction wrong/obsolete or should there be a .rmt file in the .zip file or is the .bin file the real firmware update file?

    actually, only the .bin is what you need... even if you have the .zip file, you will need to unzip it and get the .bin (binary file) you will need for firmware upgrade... the text file only gives you information...

  • Very hard to implement a long process dll or application in TestStand such as firmware download task.

    Hi All
    In my daily projects there are many firmware download tasks on mass production for kinds of products sucha s phone, mp3, game box and so on. The common download is performed via USB or serial port.
    Firmware download is often a long process what will take up to hundreds of seconds. The download application or dll is often provided by customer or the chipset supplier, I have ever call a download dll in TestStand, the only way is to run the dll in another threading and at the UI threading I monitor the dll's log file for status, it looks a very stupid way to do, things oftn lose control.
    This time I have to automatically download firmwares to a mp3(Sigmatel chipset), Sigmatel provided an application for parallel downloading what is very unstable, the application often hangs or crash, I tried to update the application source code but Sigmatel says they will not support if I change something.
    If someone use the application, he needs to press the START button, if fail, press the STOP firstly, if crash..... everything lose control. In my opinion, even if I change the application to a dll, there are still long processes, I must let TestStand wait there for the log file information? I do not think that is a good idea.
    My thought is this is a usual task in manufacturing, could someone please advice me how do you handle this kind of testing in your test station? How to run a long process task in TestStand and communicatio with it and keep everything in control.
    Thanks.

  • Here is the message my Iphone 4 is stating "Error no successful firmware download after 60000 ms!! Giving up..."Itunes will not even recognize it, any ideas?

    Here is the message my IPhone 4 is stating, "Error no successful firmware download after 60000 ms!! Giving up..."ITunes will not even recognize it, any ideas?

    No, it has something to do with the firmware on the phone itself. The phone won't do anything. I have used redsn0w to try and put the firmware back on, no luck though. The farthest I am able to go is DFU mode. The message on the screen says, "Error no successful firmware download after 60000 ms!! Giving up..."
