I have read this about a million times and I have no idea what it is telling me. I need help understanding this more and I am also wondering is this going to cost money to agree to it and what it is linking me too

The lawyers sure got ahold of that one, didn't they?!?!? All it is really saying is that, if you go to that linked site/3rd party app, RIM has no liability for whatever that linked site/3rd party app may do. When you agree, you absolve RIM of liability and agree that, no matter what, you will not seek any recourse from RIM. RIM has zero control over what that other site/app may do...anything they do is 100% between you and them, and RIM has no involvement (nor liability).

Facetime for iphone is not available in the App Store because it is already built into any iphone that is FaceTime compatible, and I think that includes iphone 4. You should be able to find Facetime amongst the other built in applications that came with it. However, it is possible that if it was purchased in certain countries where Facetime is not allowed, the App was not included.

Application server error (Part 2) - Please Help!

Hi there
Yesterday I made this thread, [Click Here|Application server error - Please Help!;
We installed a application server and it could not locate that host which was fixed by adding the app server name in the host file on the production box. We now have another issue.
I we remove/disable the app server the messages still fail, cause it's looking for the app server host. I checked in ZR10 but nothing there is pointing to the app server.
Is there some other parameter we can check to change the system not to point to the app server but the original production server?

Have used firefox for 3 years, have a new computer now and every time I go into my normal places I get a warning about encrypted page and third party viewing, please help!

I have used Mozilla Firefox for 3 years with no issues. I have now purchased a new laptop (Samsung) and cannot access my regular sites (like Windows Live or my banking, most everything) without getting a Yellow waring arrow stating that I am going into an encrypted page and third parties are able to see what I am doing. I am very concerned if others are having access. My bank says it has nothing to do with them...it is an https secure site. I still have major concerns, please help!

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Can't update/install itunes- 'not a valid win32 application' PLEASE HELP

I'm having some serious problems with installing iTunes on my laptop. I have searched and searched the internet and can not find any solution to my problem. I am receiving the error "itunes is not a valid win32 application' after the program finishes downloading. Sometimes however it will just stop in the middle of the download. I use a SONY VAIO VGN-NW25GF which was only purchased last year. It uses windows 7. I had trouble downloading itunes to begin with though eventually it worked, however since the new 10.1 update has been available ive been attempting to update it almost every time i use itunes. Each and every time it fails and i've had enough as i need to update my iphone software. I’ve since uninstalled both itunes and quicktime hoping it will reinstall properly. But nothing, the same problem is occurring and now i have no itunes program!
I've tried all the solutions online about deleting browing history/temp folder and any itunessetup.exe/quicktimesetup.exe files and nothing works. I've also tried downloading using a different browser and still nothing. I’ve done a virus scan, disk cleanup and disk defragment and NOTHIGN is working. BO DI integration with an third part application

Hi All,
I have to right an adapter to integrate data from an third party application. Can anyone help me in this to start?
I want that my DI job should read data from this third party application and can write data into this third party application. This third party application will provide us APIs in order to get/send data to this app.
So, how can I achieve this. I know that we need to write some kind of Adapter for this. So, can anyone help me in this. How to write this adapter. It will be really very helpful if I can get some sample program on how to write this kind of adapter.

also, check if the 3rd party application provides support for webservices, if yes, instead of writing a adapter use that

Backup/Restore won't reload third part applications, why?

This completely doesn't make sense to me. What is the use of having a backup/restore function if the entire device is not actually backed up and restored? Apparently this is just the databases? Well, what good are some of the databases, if the restore feature isn't restoring the applications that use those databases? This seems liek such an utterly useless feature without the applications.
There is even an option when choosing Reload Device Software, saying backup and restore third party applications, yet this only seems applicable when completely reloading the device software, and not when attempting to transfer from one failed blackberry to a new one.
The applications are even in a folder on my computer, yet I cannot install them to the device. How can I install these?

Inventory Program Part 6 - Please Help

My last assignment is due in about two hours and I am completely lost. I have been trying to figure out how to add functionality to my JButtons all week.

Your code has some good spots and some bad spots or problems, and I'll try to hit on some of the more obvious problems (the ones that I can see immediately) so that you can try to fix it.
1) Your DVD class overall looks pretty good until we get to the end. The method public static double calculateEntireInventory(DVD[] prod) shouldn't be part of the DVD class since it has nothing to do with an individual DVD (which is what this class is all about) and everything to do with a collection of DVDs. You should move this to another class, a non-GUI Inventory class.
2) The method public static Movie[] sortInventory(Movie[] prod) also shouldn't be in your DVD class for the same reason as noted above, and also because it deals with Movie objects which are objects that descend from DVD. The parent really shouldn't have to depend on the child class to function, and leaving this in would likely break your code at some time or another. Again, put this in a non-GUI Inventory class. You probably should use a DVD parameter, not a Movie parameter. Another option is to have your DVD and Movie classes implement the Comparable interface, since if you do this, sorting any collection of these is a breeze by using Arrays.sort(...) or Collections.sort(...).
3) Again (starting to sound like a broken record) the method public double calculateInventory(DVD[] dvd) shouldn't be part of the Movie class for the very same reasons noted above.
4) You need to create a non-GUI Inventory class, shoot, you can call it NonGuiInventory if you'd like (though I'd call it Inventory and call the GUI class GuiInventory) that has all the important functionality that the GUI will display. This class holds a collection of DVDs (or Movies), has an int index that points to the current Movie of interest, has a next() method that advances this index and returns the next Movie in the collection (or the first if you're at the last), has a previous() method that does the opposite, has a first() method that sets the index to zero and returns the first Movie in the collection, a last() method that advances the index to the size of the collection - 1 and returns this Movie, and has a sort method that sorts the collection. You can even have add(Movie) and a remove(Movie) methods here. By separating this functionality from the GUI, you are able to simplify your task by dividing and conquering.
5) Finally you can display all this with your InventoryGUI class that uses the above class as its model, displaying the current Movie that is pointed to by the Inventory's index, that when the next() method is called gets the Movie returned by it and displays it.
Note that if you go this route, you'll need to do some major re-writes of the GUI class, but it will improve your program greatly.

Thanks for your reply. When you say upload into the server, do u mean uploading into the local tomcat webserver(/webapps) using the Tomcat Web Admin tool OR uploadin into the myjavaserver.com server.(ftp)
I tried using the admin tool and gives me an error saying Failing to upload..
I am not sure what url to use.
If my url is www.myjavaserver.com/~xyz, then what url should i use at the admin tool to deploy.
(I used www.myjavaserver.com/~xyz/myapp.war) and I used www.myjavaserver.com/~xyz/web.xml for the XML config file URL. But it did not work. ( I had the war file and config file at myjavaserver.com/~xyz)

hi guys, im having some trouble with displaying either a preloader, dosent matter if its eiter indefinite or definite.

I just want a preloader to pop up once the DataGrid with Id : pageList is clicked.because once the item is clicked, it calls another webservice.
ive spent over a week trying ot figure this out, but with no avail!!

Below is a simple app with a basic component that just flashes some text- hope this helps
Also the app can be disabled {FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.enabled=false;} i commented this out in the code as it obviously won't allow you to press buttons
You could read up on popupmanager if you want to get into modal style window/dialog boxes.

What is the easiest way to sort photos within an album. I have photos from a trip but they are all mixed up. Photos from one part of the trip are showing up in other parts. Please help.

I have a MacBook Pro laptop and am trying to use iPhoto. I uploaded pictures but they uploaded out of order. Photos taken from different locations on my trip are all mixed up and I would like to sort them in chronological order. Things I have tried have been time consuming and often take several attempts before the moved photo "takes" to its new location within the album. If anyone can provide step by step instructions for this senior, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
