Visa prepaid card

I signed up for Xfinity services a few months ago and qualified for the $150 Visa prepaid card.   It's been over three months and I haven't received my Visa cards.  When I check the status on www.xfinityrewardcenter.com/status it says "No Record Found."  When I call Comcast Customer Service they keep transferring me to different departments and I either get the run around or my call gets disconnected (i.e. customer service hangs up on me).  Please offer better customer service and honor your promotions in a timely manner. We shouldn't have to chase you down for promotions that were offered to us when we signed up for services, and it shouldn't be this difficult to get someone from Comcast to help resolve these issues.

To receive the visa gift card you would have to maintain your level of services and also ensure that your account is in good standing for the first 90 days. After those requirements are met, your gift card will be mailed to you and shipping can take an additional four to eight weeks.   • Visa Prepaid Card fraud

    I got an offer in the mail from Verizon that promised a $100 Visa prepaid card if I got a new phone from Comcast.  I took advantage of the offer and got a new iPhone.  It arrived in October and I activated it then.  
    The fine print on the offer says "Visa Prepaid Card mailed to account holder within 6 weeks of service activation."  It has now been 14 weeks and still no prepaid card.  I have called 3 times and every time I was told my request was "escalated," which I guess means "ignored."
    My guess is that Verizon counts on people either forgetting about the offer or getting tired of bothering with it.  I am not one of those people.  If I don't get something in the next week, I'm going to the state Department of Consumer Affairs.  This is fraudulent marketing, pure and simple.

  • Changing mail dates of the Visa prepaid card

    Ok Is Verizon changing mail dates every other day on these cards? It seems that they fail to tell you that making changes to your subscription will screw up this offer. Although I have not changed anything nor have I missed any payments they still keep changing the date. My mail box is out in the open and I like to be there when packages and sensitive mail is going to be sent. STOP doing this and send the darn card already. Why would you mess around with this stuff if you are soooooo concerned with customer loyalty and service as you claim to be? Not a smart move to bounce people around your phone lines for an hour as many have complained about. Get it together and send the thing on time.

    They changed the date again...I realize that it is to be sent within 30 days of your 60 day anniversary. They keep giving mailing dates of  "on or around" but they keep changing it everyday. My first notice said  "on or around"  March 5th, then the 7th, then 11th, now the 12th.  I have to ask 'WHY"? Better to just give a correct date than to keep pushing it further and further forward. Its not that big of a deal, but with all the identity theft and mail theft going on, I would like to know when it hits the mail. Please correct this activity, its not beneficial to Verizon or me.

  • Where is the Visa Promotional Card

    I can't believe I'm reading this . I also signed up with Verizon (new Acccount) because I was pulled in by the promotional offer on a new 2 year contract . I signed up in November on the 17th , my house already had the Fios equipment installed .The promotion included a loaded bundle promotion with on demand and many premium channels for the 2 year term , and the upgraded quantum router ect . In addtion to this was a $400 prepaid Visa card to be processed after 60 days of  service and mailed within 90 days of installation, as long as your account was in good standing . I still have the e-mail with all that was to be included and the lenth of term contract , and the promotional page stating what I was eligible for with the time and dates from 11/13/2014 when I talked with the representitive on the phone.Now this contract in front of me states that approximately 90 days after the service was installed that I would receive by mail a $400 Verizon Visa Prepaid Card , I also would be eligable for LG G Pad or $150 off any tablet from   "Verizon Wireless" , with a new 2 year contract (Ihave no use for this) . I received the post card with username and password , followed not long after by the pin information for said card . I contacted through billing chat service on 02/17/2015 to inquire about the card since 93 days had passed since my service was installed and the contract stated that the card would be mailed approximately 90 days after service was installed . I was told that the card had been mailed out on 1/21/2015 to my address of service . I told them I had received the post card , the follow up information with pin number and had been watching the verizon.com/rewards web-site for the mailing date on the card , but it still stated the card was in processing and had been showing that for more than a month, and HAD NEVER RECEIVED THE CARD . I was told since it had been a month since the card was mailed I had to contact the Promotions Department and was given te phone number . I called the promotions department and after explaining the above, with time frames and dates , was informed that since I was just now approaching the date of eligibility for the card that it was still being processed and that I should watch the web-site for mailing date , I stated that according to the terms of said contract I should have had the card in my possession by now and that I was told by the billing department that it had been mailed on 01/21/2015 . Now the response to that was oh we're a little behind on these promotional Visa Cards keep an eye on the web-site . I said it's been showing that it's being processed now for at least 5-6 weeks and it says on that site , YOUR CARD WILL BE MAILED IN 2-4 WEEKS . Again I was told to keep an eye on the site , TODAY IT IS STILL SHOWING BEING PROCESSED . We're heading for 4 months since service installation. I hope this gets resolved

    I am having the same issue with the card I was promised. In January I signed up for service at my local Costco store. Prior to that I had been a loyal DirectTv customer. I was in the process of moving and because of the promotion and my satisfaction with Verizon Wireless, I decided to make the switch. I was told that the card would be issued after two billing cycles. And I paid my second bill in early April.I have called Verizon customer service monthly since the date I was suppopsed to receive the card passed - back in April. Today when I asked to speak with a supervisor - she hung up on me becasue I said their newly promised date of July 10th was unacceptable.I called back, spoke with another customer service supervisor who gave me an even longer lead time of July 25th. I should mention that I was promised 30 days at the end of April, 30 days at the end of May and 30 days on June 7th. Then when I called to confirm on June 10th - it was all new again and I was promised 30 days but they would try to expidite. This is truly the worst customer service experience I have ever received. A supervisor who actually hangs up on a customer!?!?I have been a Customer Service Manager for over 20 years, I have NEVER hung up on a customer and even when their behavior was really out of line.I will be filing a complaint with Costco. I understand this is a fairly recent business partnership. I think Costco has made a mistake promosting Verizon FIOS in their stores.  I will be SHOCKED if I even get a response.

    Well, I was really asking how it worked, because I wanted to restock my account, not what cards were used by someone else.  Since there are no other explanations, I researched it myself and this is what I found:
    "We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of the United States or prepaid gift cards issued by credit card companies. Debit cards and check cards have daily spending limits that may prevent the processing of your order."
    The above statement would lead me to believe that gift cards such as Visa or MasterCard, cannot be used to restock an iTunes account. Thank you.

    I am a new customer to Comcast and so far really enjoy the service. Today I logged on to my account to set up to pay my first months bill and was surprised to see the account listed as past due even though my due date is not until tomorrow. Also it seems as though for my second month I am getting billed for the whole amount for the entire month but only getting service for 23 days? My service started on the 9th of June and my first bill comes due on the 8th of July but my second bill comes due on the 31st of July. Something isn't right there. Please let me know what is going on and why I'm past due even though my payment isn't due until tomorrow. Also I am entitled to receive a $500 prepaid visa gift card for signing up with the deal I signed up for and I haven't heard a word about it. When can I expect to receive the gift card.     Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
    Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps).

    Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store. But if you only want the free apps, take a look here:

    Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is  critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID. 
    You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

    I have just found a way to do exactly what I wanted to do!
    I opened I-Tunes, then clicked on the "Account" link under the heading "Quick Links".
    After entering my Account ID and Password, I got the "Account Information" window.
    I then clicked on the Edit link at the end of the "Payment Information" line which listed my current credit card information.  This opened the "Edit Payment Information" window. On this screen, instead of selecting Visa, etc... I selected NONE and then clicked on DONE at the bottom of the screen.  Just like magic, my credit card information disappeared and was replaced by "No Creidt Card on File" which is exactly what I wanted.  FYI.

    Do you have enough funds in your bank account?
    otherwise iTunes sometimes black lists card if there are too many fradulent purchases
    Reason why they might black list a card is possibly you call in for alot of fradulent purchases
    One more reason can be because iTunes does actually limit the amount you can change payment methods

    Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

    Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)
