Good Evening
I am SAP CRM ABAP 6.0
I would need some help, I need to know which authorization objects should I use to restrict the visibility to the users of a organizational unit.
I need that this employees could not see even the tittle of the business object.
Example:
If the user go inside the account: "Leroy Merlin" , can´t see if there are oppened opportunities if they are not assigned to their own org. unit. HE has to see only his own documents an the organizational unit documents...
Can anyone help me?

Hi.
Authorization objects CRM_ORD_LP and CRM_ORD_OE are used to say which organizational units the user can use. CRM_ORD_OE is used to specify organizational units while CRM_ORD_LP is used if you just want to say for example someone can use just own organizational units and then in ppoma_crm you define which are this organizatuional units. So it depends on approach.
And CRM_ORD_OP is used to specify that user can use only own documents.

Navigator Not Visible in Directory Manager

On Win XP Pro Oracle Directory service does not start on boot, even though it is set to do so automatically. It will start manually from the Windows services app. After starting the service, oidctl runs successfully from the command line "C:\>oidctl connect=oid90 server=oidldapd instance=3 configset=0 start"
On start up Oracle Directory Manager (ODM) accepts the orcladmin/welcome logon and displays the connecting message and loading schema message. ODM opens but does not display the Navigator panel. ODM seems to be connected to the database because Objects, attributes, entries etc. are visible by selecting choices from the Operations menu.
When OID was first installed the navigator sometimes did and sometimes did not display. Now it is never displayed.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I am a Business Analyst and would like to get Oracle Workflow running so I can play with Workflow Builder. I'm just trying to get my hands dirty with this stuff. I want to use OID as a directory server for workflow.
I uninstalled 9.0.1.1 in installed 9.2.x.x. The results are similar.
The Bind request to LDAP failed error re-appeared. I had somehow worked around this on the previous install but I don't know how. The command ldapbind -h trburns -p 389 -D cn=orcladmin -w ohwgwead returns Cant contact ldap server. The error seems to be common as it appears in numerous postings but I havent seen a clearly described explanation and solution.
Do you have access to Oracles knowledge base? It must have a description of this problem.
I can open ODM after the bind failure by clicking the close icon. Double clicking the banner works in cases where the navigator tree is not visible. Many thanks for that tip.
Any authoritative information you could provide about the bind problem would be appreciated.

How do I make one account's home folder visible to the other? Also, when I begin to delete an account, it asks if I want to either delete its home folder, keep it in the users folder, or save it in a disk image. I want to be able to see it from my remaining account once I delete it, so if I leave it in the users folder, would I be able to see all the files (right now I can't

Use terminal to add ACL to the account,
at the prompt:
sudo chmod -R +a "<user> allow list,addfile,search,delete,add_subdirectory,delete_child,readattr,writeattr,readextattr, writeextattr,readsecurity,file_inherit,directoryinherit" /User/<user_name> #yep, all that goes on one line!#
#Replace <user> with the user name that you want to have file/folder privileges#
#Replace <user_name> with the account you want to process#
example:
sudo chmod -R +a "sue allow list,add_file, .... deletechild,readsecurity,file_inherit,directoryinherit
/User/joe
#sue now gets full access to joe's files and folders#

You can add as many users as you want! Just lather, rinse repeat. That is how I share my itunes
directory with the ones I want to share it with.
That's the simplest way. ACL permissions overrule posix permissions.

IPod Classic no longer visible in iTunes after upgrade tp Yosemite.

I have just upgraded to Yosemite and the latest iTunes. But my iPod Classic is no longer visible in iTunes. It is on the desk top and I can drag files to it, but is there a way of restoring it to iTunes?

Music plays in iTunes, but NONE of the MP3 files are visible in Explorer

This one is a bit of a mystery.
When I open up any of the folders in my iTunes Music folder, they appear to be empty. No MP3 files are listed at all. Yet, iTunes can still play the music.
Here are the details:
1. I keep my iTunes media content on an external hard drive, and iTunes is working fine. Some albums have disappeared but most of my music shows up in iTunes and plays properly. Therefore, the music files have to be there.
2. When I right-click on my iTunes folder in Windows Explorer and choose "properties" I get a result: Explorer scans the folder and tells me I have 98.8 gigabytes in 18,279 files, (though when I look around, I see that a LOT of albums are missing). Yet, Windows Explorer is finding a lot of files even though I can’t see them.
3. However, when I right-click on a folder inside my iTunes folder and choose “properties” (the folders for each artist and for each album are still there and still visible) I get weird results. It says that there is some small amount of data in each folder (27 kilobytes or 35 kilobytes) and some random number of files (2, or 5, or 6). It doesn't matter how many songs are actually on that album, it just gives me this small unrelated number. Yet, I can’t see any files listed at all.
4. Under the View tab in Folder Options, everything looks fine to me. I don’t see a setting there that would hide MP3 files.
5. I tried checking “show hidden files” and all that sort of thing, but nothing changed.
6. I did a virus scan and it revealed no threats.
7. I also went into the Command Prompt and used the dir command to see what was there. I could see all of my folders including my iTunes music folder. I have pictures, Word documents, Excel files, etc on this external folder as well. I can see all of these files no problem. I can also see all the Artist and Album folders in my iTunes music folder. However, even using the dir command, I can’t see any songs – there are no MP3 files visible. I reveal hidden and system files (dir /ah), I then see some files like these:

AlbumArtSmall.jpg
Folder.jpg
8. I tried to play the music from VLC media player and Windows Media Player, but that doesn’t work because the files can’t be seen by those programs either.
9. However, when I open iTunes, all the music is there and playable. Only iTunes sees the music.
Anyone have any idea what could have happened? The one thing I changed recently is that I ran the iTunes Genius function. It scanned my music and did what it was supposed to do, and it worked fine. I doubt that Genius could have done this to my external hard drive. I’m guessing I picked up a computer virus somehow, but my virus scan doesn’t reveal anything.
Anyone have any ideas about what is going on?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!
You were absolutely right, Rob. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I've got nearly 200 Artist folders with 1,000 or so Album folders - and they are all completely empty of music.
But in the middle of that long list of folders, there is an innocuous looking folder labelled "Music." I looked inside that folder and, bam, there they were - all 92 gigabytes of my missing music files in a complete copy of all those Artist and Album folders.
I thought I was going crazy! How could iTunes be playing all this music when as far as I could tell, it had all vanished? But there it was. As you said, iTunes had simply moved it down a level in the folder hierarchy and then didn't delete all the original folders.
And as I scanned the original list of Artist folders, I also saw the other folders: Podcasts, Audiobooks, iPod Games, etc. I hadn't even noticed them before. I just assumed that all the folders I was looking at were Artist folders.
Thank you so much, Rob. I'm not sure I would have ever solved this "case of the missing music files" on my own. I would have continued to bang my head against "hidden files" settings and all that. Perhaps I would have tracked these files down by looking for their location using "Get Info" in iTunes. But maybe not. I had no reason to suspect that I didn't know where the music files were: after all, the Artist and Album folders were all right there. They were just empty! I was so focused on the folders being empty, it never occured to me that iTunes had created exact duplicate folders somewhere else.
Do you know if iTunes had any practical reason for leaving all those empty folders behind? I'm just wondering if it is safe to manually delete them. I noticed, for example, that they aren't completely empty. They contain hidden files of Album Art and various ini files. I wouldn't want to delete them and then find out that I just deleted all my album art and a bunch of important settings files.

External hard drive not visible in disk utility or finder

Hi all,
I have had a good look through previous discussions and I can't seem to find an issue relevant to mine.
My external hard drive has 2 partitions (1 time machine back up, 1 general hard drive). The issue is that the HD is running when it is plugged in however it is not visible in either disk utility or finder.
I am running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) on a 2010 MacBook Pro. I also have parallels desktop running windows 7. When I boot windows and plug in the HD I usually get the option to mount the HD to either OS X or Windows. With this issue the option window appears for a split second (not enough time to select either) and then disappears. It seems that the HD may be ejecting itself as soon as it is registered by the computer. I have tried using a different power cable for the HD and also a different usb cable, this doesn't help.
The external HD is a Samsung D3 Station, which i have had for 6 months now and never had an issue with.

An update for anyone who can help me:
I have tried the external hard drive in other computers (mac and windows), each time I get the same problem above.
I have removed the HD from the enclosure and purchased a docking station for it (3.5" SATA). When I plug it in to the laptop it disconnects itself straight away before it is visible. With the windows computers it installs the drivers and says that the device is ready to use, then disconnects before it shows up.
As the HD is not visible there is no option to re-format or anything.
This is very frustrating as I was using the HD with no issues and it randomly disconnected and I have not been able to access since.

XMP metadata from Flashbuilder why not visible in Adobe Bridge?

A: Flash CS5: works
When I use the XMP panel in Flash CS5 and export a swf, open Adobe Bridge CS5 and select the file, the XMP data are correctly displayed.
B: Flash Builder(Flex 4.1): don't work
When I use Flashbuilder and add my metadata to the compilation, then compile, open Adobe Bridge CS5 and select the file, nothing is included in metadata.

I do not know if it is safe to use it in a produciton context at least in trial mode it allows to check the metadata included in your swf.
I wonder if this metadata coonot be read by Adobe Bridge because they are at a "lower level" than those put by flash CS5 XMP panel?

I was following this post for a LONG time, since I noticed the same problem.
This week I was getting in it into myself again and I noticed you use load-config. I used these compiler options :
contributor name
Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
creator name
Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
date text
Sets metadata in the resulting SWF file. For more information, see Adding metadata to SWF files.
But that resulted in this XML string where the dc namespace was missing a / on the end of the URI
That caused the metadata which was added in flashbuilder was only visible in bridge in the rawXML panel, and not the specific fields
changing the URI in http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/ did the trick ( did this in bridge by exporting the rawXML, changed the / , and imported it )

Sadly there was no way I could add this / myself everytime.
BUT then I discoverd this option :
raw-metadata XML_string
Defines the metadata for the resulting SWF file. The value of this option overrides any metadata.* compiler options (such as contributor,creator, date, and description).
This is an advanced option.

In the end I wrote an ANT script which injects the exact XMLstring of metadata to Flash and Flex projects by using the raw-metadata parameter in FLEX and JSFL for flash.

[SOLVED] Puzzled: Web site visible on network but not outside network

Edit: Ok, nevermind . . . somehow the problem has resolved itself. Perhaps my ISP was having a bad hair day or something.
I'm puzzled by this small problem I'm having. It is NOT a critical problem or anything, just something I'd like to solve.
I've installed the LAMP packages, set up a small MySQL database and made a very simple web interface for it. The web pages open fine on my main computer and all the other computers on our network, but it is not visible outside our network.
I am behind a router and I have forwarded port 80 to my local IP. I've set httpd: ALL, http: ALL and (finally) ALL: ALL: ACCEPT in /etc/hosts.
I got to thinking maybe my ISP (RoadRunner) is blocking port 80 requests to my home, so I changed the port to 9292 and forwarded that to my local IP. Still not visible from the outside.
I've tinkered with the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file (pasted in below) but still there is no outside connectivity, changing the listen settings and the server name settings. I can still access it fine from this side of the router. I've restarted the httpd service many times.
I've done all I can think to do to solve the issue. it is likely I am overlooking something very basic. Any help or ideas are appreciated. Below is my httpd.conf.

You could try a factory reset of the home hub, as sometimes the config can get corrupted.

I have discovered that my question above is a non-question. A user triggered by looking at the below article about Illustrator 2014 cc 17.0.2

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

IDOC not visible in IR but metadata successfully imported

Hi,
I have this wiered issue.
I want to import IDOC WPUSKR01 (cashier productivity) from BI.
But when I connect to BI system from IR to import Idoc structure, this IDOC is not visible.
But I can manually import the metadata from BI in idx2.
Now how to import this in IR?
I have imported other Idocs (like WPUBON) before and did the scenario successfully for BI.

In BI Tcode we82 I have manually added the entries for WPUKSR01. Now Idoc is visible when importing in IR.
I have checked all the segments in we31, they are all released.
But it gives error:
Error: IDoc type WPUKSR01 contains errors (unable to read segments)
Then, I checked in R/3, there also WPUKSR01 was not there in we82. I manually added there and I was successfully able to import it in IR.
But the same thing is failing in BI. I have SAPALL permissions in all the systems.
Can I use Idoc imported from R/3 in scenario for BI?

Idoc not visible in Business system

I am trying to configure a scenario where in I am trying to use the IDoc ZCNOSE_PRICAT.PRICAT02.ZPRICAT1.
However, this IDoc is not reflected in the business system in which I am using.
I have already released the extension from the backend SAP system.
Can you please suggest what I am missing such that the extension is visible in the Business system.

You imported the idoc structure into the ESR, under a specific SWCV.
Make sure that SWCV is linked to your Business System in the SLD.

Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone has any best practices for implementing single sign on and user identification with Excelsius.
More specifically, I need to interrogate user role, and limit certain data visibility based on that role.
For example, a sales rep may only see certain data for their own territories, but the regional and national managers can see more.
With the emphasis in improving enterprise integration with the new version coming up, I'm also wondering if there are any improvements included for this aspect.

1)Before discussing about the Sign on i want to know which connectivity you are using ? Live offcie or QaaWS.
2) We can make the second point possible in two ways One is with providing restriction at universe level
and the other one is through the use of flash variables.
Using flash variables:
The main idea of using flash variables is reading the User ID from BO authentication and based on that we fetch the Heirarchy level of that user. Then we use some excel logic to hide the data from Low level heirarchy(Here we use Dynamic Visibility for components).
I hope this is what you ar looking for....
If so i have more points to acheive such scenario.
Please provide the your BO environment details, such that it will be easy to identify the better best wat to acheve it.

How to change visibility property of a VC iView by clicking of a BI iView?

I have created four iViews: two speedometers with web application designer and two iViews with visual composer. I added the speedometers and a visual composer iView #1 to a portal page (default view). The requirement is that by clicking the speedometer #2, the visual composer iView #2 would replace visual composer iView #1 on the portal page. If the user then would select the speedometer #1 again by clicking it, visual composer iView #2 would replace #1 again and so on.

I don't need to filter anything, just to change one iView to another in a portal view by clicking a third one. How can I check what values my web application with Z_SERVICEOUTBOUND template is transfering to VC?
One solution might be¨to transfer any value to VC by clicking a speedometer and to change the visibility of the VC iViews according to that value (the speedometer #1 should in that case transfer other value to VC than speedometer #2). I don't know if that is possible with speedometers - you can't reference any characteristics or variables with it.
If you have an idea, what would be the best way to accomplish this requirement, I would be very glad to hear about it! We are in VC 7.0.

How can I add a device to my library? My e-reader is registered but not visible.

I use a Tolino Shine and can download E-Books via WLAN directly to it. I can also download the books to my netbook. However, when I plug the Tolino into my netbook it is not visible in the Adobe library and I cannot move books from the library to the Tolino.
I tried to reset the Tolino to the manufacturer settings. This did not improve the situation.
Any suggestions?

How to keep custom drawbot ui visible in comp window even if applied effect is not selected?

Hey guys!
Time for another noob question.
I'm trying to keep my custom ui visible in the comp viewer window even if the user has deselected the effect with the ui overlay.
My experimental effect plugin is based on the CCU example project. I modified the DrawHandles function in CCU_UI.cpp to do my test drawing.
Its working fine, but anytime I deselect the effect, AE stops drawing it on the comp. I tried modifying DrawEvent() to skip the event_extraP->contextH->w_type check, but the ui still goes away.   I tried just calling the DrawHandles() function in CCU's Render() function, but this causes AE to crash. I think its exploding when DrawHandles() is trying to get a surface context, but this is just a guess from the error it reports on crash:
                    ERR(suites.DrawbotSuiteCurrent()->GetSurface(drawing_ref, &surface_ref));
Any tips?
Perhaps I could do my ui drawing in the Render function and burn it into the render buffer, but I would need to check to make sure NOT to draw the UI if AE is actually rendering the comp (preview or output to disk). I don't have any idea what object would tell me that.

I've made some progress on this, but I've hit a wall. :\
In my effect's globalSetup() I check the itemID for the parent comp that the effect's layer lives in. I store this in the effects' global data.
In my effect's Render() method, I check to see if the active item's ID is the same as the one stored in the global data.
This works interactively, ie: the ui burnins happen if the comp with the effect is active, and if the comp is not active, or a nested comp, the burnins do not occur.
However, during ram preview & rendering, checking the active item's ID doesn't seem to return the proper ID, so the burnins still happen.
I wonder, during ram preview/render, is the comp no longer active? (I'm guessing this is whats happening)
If this is the case, is there some other object that I can look at to know specifically which comp is getting rendered/ram previewed, so I can use that information as a trigger instead of:
ERR(suites.ItemSuite6()->AEGP_GetActiveItem(&active_itemH));
I assume some object getting passed along to my Render() method can at least tell me which (parent) comp AE is trying to render?
