Visio Blank WICs / Modules

I've been searching high and low for a "blank" stencil to fill in module and WIC areas of a 2821 router that I'm diagraming.  Does anyone have any suggestions or a link to where I can get a hold of something that will work?  It seems that Cisco is somewhat lax lately on their visio stencil offerings.
Thanks all!

HI Nick,
The reason you cannot easily ungroup that image is because, as part of the production process, we convert the Visio geometry to Enhanced Metafile Image (emf) format and embed it in a Visio shape.  There are several reasons for this including:
Improve performance when dragging, dropping, resizing, and moving shapes
Maintain proportional text font size when resizing
Every piece of Visio geometry and text has a ShapeSheet behind it which contains data about the shape's contents, size, postition, formatting, etc.  When a device shape is rendered with the level of detail we apply, the simple act of moving a shape will produce a lag because every geometric object's ShapeSheet is recalculationg.  When we convert it to a .emf image, it is still a vector image (as opposed to bitmapped or pixel image) so it remains sharp.  However, Visio does not need to handle all of those calculations since it's just an image with one ShapeSheet behind it.
When you ungroup the shape, Visio breaks up the metafile image back to individual geometric objects but it does not conserve all of the original information that went into the source Visio drawing of the device that was converted to metafile.  Therefore you often see unexpected results.
OK, so that's why you are having trouble ungrouping.  The key question is that you need something that's missing from the stencils.  I've run a blank cover plate shape for you and it's been uploaded to
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-22049.  This shape will not be in the official Routers-Cisco 2900.vss on the download page until the next revision to that product stencil.  I hope this is helpful.

    Hello, Ashish;
    When you mention a "Function Module" where are you trying to create it? The report designer? A .NET form?
    What version of Crystal Reports are you using?
    What version of Visual Studio .NET?
    What requirements are you trying to meet?

    Just installed Visio 2013.  When I try to create a new document or open an existing document, Visio crashes (Visio has stopped working......).  It happens in safe mode too.  Further, I've looked at add ins and there are none that I can "uncheck".
     Not sure what else to try.

  • Visio Professional 2013 Crash

    To Whom It May Concern,
    I have a user who opened Visio 2013 for the first time and it first stated stopped working and then ended up crashing. I checked the event viewer and saw the error. I than, googled the error and came up with two solutions that worked before for other users.
    Both being, Turn off the Bluetooth add-in (that was not on in the first place) and second, to repair it from the control panel which I did and that did not work. I have uninstalled it and installed it back and it is happening once again. I have also tried
    it in safe mode and it still happens. Any clues? Below is the information from the event viewer.

    Hi,
    Since vislib.dll is the core of Visio, it may be corrupted installation. You can try to download the installation file from the Microsoft website and reinstall again.
    Or we can perform a clean boot in Windows to remove conflict with other applications.

    Hello,
    Did you ever use business transaction event (BTE) before?
    You can do it with BTE 00003210 in Process module.
    I try to explain step by step how can you do that,
    First of all, you must copy FM SAMPLE_PROCESS_00003210 to ZFI_PROCESS_00003210 via SE37 transaction.
    Then go to FIBF -> Settings -> Products -> ... of a customer
    Create a new line
    Product : ZFI
    Text : FI Developments
    Active : tick checkbox
    After that go to FIBF again -> Settings -> Process Modules -> ... of a customer
    Create a new line
    Process : 00003210
    Ctr : Blank
    Appl. : Blank
    Function Module : ZFI_PROCESS_00003210
    Product : ZFI
    You can set break point on this FM and you can see system trigger when you execute F.08 report.
    In ZFI_PROCESS_00003210  you must write some ABAP code for clearing date and time.  Date and time values are in I_BHDGD-LINE1 .
    I'm writting some sample code for you.
    I hope it helps to you.
      DATA : lv_fdpos LIKE sy-fdpos.
      CLEAR : lv_fdpos.
      SEARCH i_bhdgd-line1 FOR 'Time'.
      lv_fdpos = sy-fdpos.
      i_bhdgd+lv_fdpos(34) = ''.

  • Wired network

    I just installed Arch from Opensuse 11 following this guide  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … ting_Linux .
    I installed Gnome 2.24 desktop through OpenSuse also. However, when I log into Arch, the internet (wired) is not working.
    I have installed networkmanager. In order to get it working, i messed around with /etc/rc.conf a lot. And now the internet is even more messed up.
    As a first time user of Arch, I have no idea what wrong I have done. Now I cannot even install packages onto Arch through opensuse chroot  /bin/bash -ing into the Arch system. The internet on opensuse is working fine, but not on Arch.
    I have read the myriad of guides on the Arch site regarding networking and network manager. I would like to shift to wicd now.
    However, if the problem can be solved through networkmanager itself, then I won't shift.
    So here is my question:
    Say I have a wired eth0 connection whose IP address 10.10.1x.xx and primary DNS is 10.10.0.x and the subnet mask is 255.255.xxx.xxx.
    What should be my entry in rc.conf and hosts files? (I do not know how to find my broadcast address).
    at present my rc.conf reads:
    HOSTNAME="myhost"
    # Use 'ifconfig -a' or 'ls /sys/class/net/' to see all available interfaces.
    # Interfaces to start at boot-up (in this order)
    # Declare each interface then list in INTERFACES
    # - prefix an entry in INTERFACES with a ! to disable it
    # - no hyphens in your interface names - Bash doesn't like it
    # DHCP: Set your interface to "dhcp" (eth0="dhcp")
    # Wireless: See network profiles below
    eth0="eth0 10.10.xx.x netmask 255.255.xxx.xxx broadcast 10.10.xx.xx"
    INTERFACES=(lo !eth0 !wlan0 wmaster0)
    # Routes to start at boot-up (in this order)
    # Declare each route then list in ROUTES
    # - prefix an entry in ROUTES with a ! to disable it
    gateway="default gw 10.10.xx.xx"
    ROUTES=(gateway)
    DAEMONS=(syslog-ng !network netfs @crond avahi-daemon avahi-dnsconfd hal dbus dhcdbd networkmanager gdm @fam dhclient)
    and my /etc/hosts/ file reads
    # /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
    #<ip-address> <hostname.domain.org> <hostname>
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    # End of file
    I also am very confused about what to enable and disable in rc.conf, for the networkmanager to work.
    Could someone please please help me out with this setup? I have read a lot on the site and gotten more confused. I would really appreciate if you could just walk me through this step.
    Thanks a ton in advance.

    OK. Let's make things simpler.
    Here is a sample of a working /etc/rc.d file.
    /etc/rc.conf - Main Configuration for Arch Linux
    # LOCALIZATION
    # LOCALE: available languages can be listed with the 'locale -a' command
    # HARDWARECLOCK: set to "UTC" or "localtime"

    # Modules to load at boot-up (in this order)

    MODULES=(skge vboxdrv)
    # Scan for LVM volume groups at startup, required if you use LVM
    USELVM="no"
    # NETWORKING
    HOSTNAME="dragonfly"
    # Use 'ifconfig -a' or 'ls /sys/class/net/' to see all available
    # interfaces.

    # Note: to use DHCP, set your interface to be "dhcp" (eth0="dhcp")
    lo="lo 127.0.0.1"
    eth0="eth0 192.168.1.21 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255"
    INTERFACES=(lo eth0)
    # Routes to start at boot-up (in this order)
    # Declare each route then list in ROUTES
    # - prefix an entry in ROUTES with a ! to disable it
    gateway="default gw 192.168.1.1"
    ROUTES=(gateway)
    # Enable these network profiles at boot-up. These are only useful
    # if you happen to need multiple network configurations (ie, laptop users)
    # - set to 'menu' to present a menu during boot-up (dialog package required)
    # - prefix an entry with a ! to disable it
    # Network profiles are found in /etc/network-profiles
    #NET_PROFILES=(main)
    # DAEMONS
    # Daemons to start at boot-up (in this order)
    # - prefix a daemon with a ! to disable it
    # - prefix a daemon with a @ to start it up in the background
    DAEMONS=(syslog-ng network @cups ntpd @crond @alsa @hal gdm)
    # End of file
    A few things to notice:
    1. the line MODULES=(skge vboxdrv) will be different in your machine, so for starters; unless you know you need some specific modules live it blank eg: MODULES=()
    2. HOSTNAME='THE_NAME_OF_YOUR_MACHINE' is the name you give the machine to identify it in the network. I called mine dragonfly.
    3. Notice that I', using the 192.168. range (as opposed to 10.10.x.x) so in your case just use the IP address values you chose for your network and notice also that the gateway **has** a value.
    4. In the DAEMONS line you will see some applications preceded by '@' like @cups. This loads the appps in the background which will speed up your boot time but you  **do not have ** to use it that way and you can safely remove the '@' symbol without causing any problems.
    Use this file as an example (or even copy and paste it into your system) to modify your /etc/rc.conf so that your system will work.
    If you need help after doing this ... just ask
    R.

  • Automatic emailing option for remittance advice

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement to generate an email to the vendor on payment run of remittance advice . I was able to identify the BTE 2040 for this purpose, however it is not working as desired . I added the z function mod copied from the exisiting  FM in "Financial Accounting -  Financial Accounting Global Settings -  Business Transaction Events -  Settings -  Process Function Modules  - of an SAP Appl " .
    However once I do this the even the spool does not get triggered , while if I remove this the spool gets generated correctly .
    Can you guys please let me know if I am missing something and explain on the procedure to do this if some of you have already done it before.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Ashwin G

    Hello,
    We are able to trigger the email:
    We have done the following:
    Go to transaction code FIBF
    Settings ==> Process Modules ==> of an SAP Application
    Process = 00002040
    Ctr: Kept Blank
    Appl: Kept Blank
    Function Module: SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040
    Hope this should work.

  • A report which displaies Bank Incoming payments for each Customer

    Hi All,
    could anyone show me a report which displaies the Bank Incoming payments for each Customer?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

    Yes u can very well see the Off setting account ( Bank account number ) in the line item report.
    For that small customization is requiered so as to activate the off setting account display in all line item report.
    Just implement the below changes
    NodeFinancial Accounting
    PathIMG u2192 Financial Accounting u2192 Financial Accounting Global Settings u2192 Business Transaction Events
    1                    Active Settings
    Setttings u2192 Products u2192 u2026 of a customer
    Following new product added and activated:
    Product                        -            OFF
    Text                 -            Offsetting account
    Active               -            Yes
    Setttings u2192 P/S Function Modules u2192 u2026 of a customer
    Following new event added:
    Event                      -           00001650
    Product                                    -            OFF
    Ctr                               -            (Leave Blank)
    Appl.                            -            (Leave Blank)
    Function Module -            LINE_ITEMS_GET_GKONT
    The above settings enable the function module for displaying the offsetting account in line item display.

  • Email to Vendors when the payment run is executed.

    Hi,
    We have a set up where in a DME file is generated in F110 and sent to the bank. Now the business is looking to send email to the respective vendors who have been paid in the F110 as soon as it is made.
    I am searching for any standard programs but could not find.
    Is there a way to do it?

    Hello,
    Copy the SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 function module to ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and make the required changes within the FM.

  • Reference with '*' in GL document

    Hi.
    I know when I create a new GL document, and I write in Reference field an '*', when document is created, in field reference appears document number created. But now, I want to do the same for a preliminary document (type FW) and it isn't working. Do you know why? Can something help me?
    Thanks a lot.
    Marta.

    Hi Marta,
    The substitution will not work in your case, the reason being that the doucment number does not get generated, at the time the substitutions are called to be checked.
    You can use the Business Transaction Event (BTE) for it as below:-
    1. I copy the sample function module SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001050 of the BTE 1050 to a custom one (Z or Y Namespace).
    2. Create the Product in transaction code FIBF by following the path Setting -> Product -> of customer
                   Product Name  - Give any name
                   Product Description - Give product discription
                   RFC Destination = Blank
                   Activate the "Active" check box
    3. Create the process BTE by following the path setting->P/S Modules -> of a customer
                   Process  =  00001050
                   Product name = As created in Step 2
                   Country   = Blank
                   Application = Blank
                   Function module = As created in Step 1
    In the function module you can manipulate the reference field (XBLNR) value in BKPF table based on your logic of document number (BKPF-BELNR). For making this change, you need to sit with your ABAPer.
    I hope this should solve your issue.

    Gaurav
