VISION :M MP3 PLAYER, CAR INTERGRATION

hi guys i have a quick question, do zen vision:m mp3 players have car intergrations which are the things you some how connect the mp3 player to your car so you can listen to your mp3 in ur car except its hooked up to your car or something so everybody can hear it ?
i know the ipod has it but i dont know if zen vision :m has it, but either way i dont even know how the system works exactly in cars...
so can anybody plz help me Thanks!

Thanks for that advice. Is this common, that even when downloading a mp4 video file from Zencast.com I would have to convert it before being able to play it's I would think that Creative would only allow ready-to-play files to be uploaded onto their website.

  • Problems Starting Up: Zen Vision M mp3 player

I have a Zen Vision M mp3 player (30gb) and for quite some time now I have had a problem with it starting up. It takes literally 0 minutes for it to start up, all the while it's loading on the Zen start screen. Once that happens and it turns off again and I use it shortly after (say after my class gets out an hour later) it has no problem starting up at all. But by the time I use it again the next day (or any substantial amount of time later) it has the same problem.
Can anyone tell me if there's a way to fix this problem? I've had this mp3 player for years and it has been very good to me.. I know I could just get a new one but otherwise it's in great condition still!!!

Have you tried going into the Recovery menu and doing a Clean Up?
To get into the Recovery menu, press the Reset button and turn on the player at the same time. The Rest button is in the hole at the bottom of the player, not the hole on the side.
You won't lose any data when selecting Clean Up. You may lose your bookmarks.

  • Creative have had my mp3 player for 3 months now

Hi,?ok, so my problem is this. I bought a 60gb vision M mp3 player back in july/august time, it had broken by mid?september, so it had to be sent off, a month later I hadnt heard anything from creative so gave them?a call, turned out a part they needed wasnt available, so rather than tell me about it they thought they'd leave it. It was agreed that my mp3 player would be replaced with a Creative Vision W 30gb player, since it could take a while to get my original player fixed. Creative sent this to the wrong address, so since November I've been trying to?get Creative to send me a new player. They state that they must track the other one down, but they sent it to the wrong address, it was no fault of mine, so why am I having to?just put?up?with it's?I've recently had 3 identical phone calls, each time I get the response "i'll check it with the RMA team, and get back to you", and "my manager is in a meeting now, sorry". this is ridiculous, i get no call or email, and it looks like its never getting sorted. I am extremely pi**ed off to say the least,? so if someone could give me an address to write/complain to, i'd appreciate it greatly, or at least someone from creative trying to sort this out for me. Thanks to?anyone who has any ideas on what to do about this.
    ps.
what is Creative's reputation in court? cos i honestly think its going to end up there.

my vision:M 30gb lasted 4 days and as we speak is winging its way across the Pacific to US of A to Creative Hospital?sure hope I have better luck than you

  • Creative mp3 player compatibility with PFS car au

I was wondering if the "Plays For Sure" compatible Creative Players will work with the PFS compatible car audio receivers from Kenwood and Alpine. I'm mostly wondering about my Zen Xtra, but I'm sure others would like to know if their players would work also. Is Creative pursuing testing this, or should I just assume that all PFS works with all other PFS?

I purchased music from iTunes, but there is one
problem, I can't play it on my Creative Zen Vision
    MP3 player.
    Yes, you are right.
I even burned a CD with
the music, and it won't play on my car stereo??
You must burn a CD-Audio to play it in your home/car stereo.
If you also want to play those songs on your Creative player, once you've done the CD-Audio you can rip it again in MP3.

  • Downloads for Creative Zen mp3 player Vision: M (30

My new Zen 6GB freezes up in mid-40 degree temperatures and won't reset. It just gets stuck, then the battery goes dead, and it wont restart until fully charged again. When it's cold I can't even reboot it with a paper clip. If I leave it in the car for more than an hour the same thing happens. Is this a known problem I never had these problems with the godawful iPod. I can't imagine it's "normal" for it to be unusable outdoors whenI bought the black Creative Zen mp3 player Vision: M (30 GB) back in August 2007, and both discs that came with product are lost, and I need to desperately replace them. I know where the download section on the Creative website is, the problem is that I do not know which two programs came with my player initially, thus I do not know what to download. Can anyone tell me the names of the discs that come with this model so I would be able to download the correct two programs Thank you kindly. John it's 5 degrees above freezing. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that won't work on a Mac.
Check the install disk, it might say what systems are supported. If not, look at the files on the disk. If they're all named like PC files they're likely for a PC. If the disk has a Mac partition the files will look like they have Mac-style icons and names.
I also note that Macs don't use an 'autoplay wizard'; that's a PC thing.

  • Creative Zen vision M 30 GB MP3 player does not resp

My Creative Zen vision M 30 GB MP3 player stopped working. It does not turn on, does not charge, does not respond to anything. Is the battery dead or what would be the problem. Please help.

There are a multitude of problems that could be causing your player to exhibit this behavior in addition to battery failure, including the failure of the main logic board. If the player has been dropped a few times, exposed to excessi've heat, or high humidity/water, the problem might not be the battery. On the other hand, if the battery has been allowed to fully exhaust on a regular basis and left uncharged for long periods, it is possible that the battery could be dead, but LIon batteries usually last at least 2-3 years with regular use and normal recharging practices if they haven't been abused.

  • Can I use my new MP3 player in my car like an iP

I just bought a Creative Zen MicroPhoto MP3 player and I love it. I was wondering if they make a piece so I can play my MP3 player in my car like my friend can with his iPod. Just wondering.......

Any device that has a cable which connects to the headphone jack of an ipod will work with a Creative mp3 player. The best method of connecting is with a cable to the aux in on the car stereo, although some people have commented that the volume in their car doesn't get loud enough that way(it depends on the car). Another way to connect is using a cassette adapter if your car has a tape player. If not, the third option is using an FM transmitter(they are illegal to use in some places such as the UK though).

  • Zen Vision: M Explorer does not recognize my mp3 player he

Seemingly, my Zen Vision: Micro is not recognized by the Zen Vision: M explorer software. My computer recognizes the hardware as present (being a verified physical connection via USB port and the mp3 player itself). I am currently running Windows XP professional with service pack 2 as instructed via technical support but to no avail. However, when running my old damaged Zen Touch, the computer and the software recognize it as being present and I have access to the dri've.
I am wondering whether or not it's a hardware issue, which I believe it to be. The issue is, that I cannot return it to Newegg (which I ordered from) because they have deactivated the product (reasons which remain unknown, which sucks because my warranty is from them so I don't know what I'm going to do about that). I would not like to bother with the hassle of having to deal with split product supports and was wondering if there were any solutions that would not involve sending back my mp3 player. I have tried messing with registry keyes, system rights, hardware profiles and such as well as reinstalling the software multiple times but to no avail. It plays fine, and looks beautiful, but I can't do anything with it currently...
If anyone has any pointers of which I have not mentioned it would be appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    TheShield

Had the same problem and got no where with creative so I wanted to exchange but there was none left in the shop so I said I would hang onto it untill they got a fresh batch. I only got this problem after a firmware update. I decided to format it and the software picked it up not a problem. And just to confirm I updated the firmware again and again I had the same problem and done a format and yet again the software picked it up so I suggest u format it and see what happens

  • MP3 player and car char

Does anyone have some instrustions that they can share for this item? Much like my Vision M I have zero instructions.

thanks but I have the MP3 player pretty much down thanks to the information guide from the web site. It's this item that came with nothing. The "Quick Start Guide" has one picture on it with no explantion or instructions.
I love the player - but working with this brand is very difficult.

  • Loading tunes to car mp3 player

Hi! I'm new to this forum and iTunes as well. I also have Dell Musicmatch Jukebox that I use to connect and load tunes to my car Sony DVD/mp3 player that connects with a cable/terminal like my Canon 20d camera uses. I get no response when trying to load tunes from iTunes. Do I need a special patch, plug-in or driver? I want to keep Musicmatch as well if possible. Can you advise me in simple terms? Thanks

The tunes are from cd's and are already in a playlist. I have no problems using my ipod shuffle, but I need to use my Corvette's Sony mp3 player if I can find a way to connect. Ipod connects via usb, of course, as you know, and this Sony player "faceplate" does too but must use a different "driver". Are Apple products the only mp3 players that are allowed to connect and download?

  • Car integration of MP3 player - Hard Wired. We want it plea

C'mon creative! Time to help us get decent sound from our MP3 players whilst in our cars. Even the best FM transmitter type is really poor in terms of sound quality.
Google for car audio interfaces and all there is is ipod, ipod, ipod, ipod. The major head unit manufacturers now all have ipod interfaces for their offerings.
There are some manufacturers (e.g. Pioneer) who offer a jack plug interface but obviously this can't handle ID3 tags.
How about releasing a specification like "Plays for Sure" so that manufacturers of Car Audio can start making interfaces?

I used 'Like' in the true sense of the word, as in "similar to". A spec is a spec, like bluetooth, like CD formats, etc. Apple released a spec. Other manuafacturers should keep up.
As to the other suggestions, thank you, but I don't want to compromise my normal use of the Zen or have to use workarounds to get a solution. I just want to play and play, like the ipod offerings.
Anyway - Mercedes don't make cars with USB ports yet. So I need another technical solution.
If I use the removable disk part of my MP3 player, why on earth do I need an MP3 player? I could just own a pen dri've instead.

  • How can I connect my Creative mp3 Player and my car ste

I need to connect my Creative mp3 Player and my car stereo (Peugeot 407 standard car stareo). It haven't cassette player or an "AUX IN" hole. Any Idea?

    <FONT face=Helv size=2>
Unfortunately (for us consumers) there are few options.
) Use an FM transmitter which does not work in your area.
    2) There was a post in this forum where the person had a device installed that would switch from the car antenna to an FM transmitter. So effecti'vely, the FM transmitter is spliced right into the antenna line into your car stereo. The theory is that it's either using the car antenna or your MP3 player, but never both. There are no competing FM stations. The use also said this cost them $200 .... which makes option 3 a better deal considering FM will decrease the fidelity of a MP3 player.
    3) Buy a car stereo with an input jack .. as SSR as sited.
    4) You can buy a cassette adapter ... if your current car stereo has a circa 20th century cassette player.
    5) Start a grass roots effort to lobby car manufacturers to put in a input jack in the car stereos. The American companies might be softened after this SUV bust.
If you pick #5, I'm available to stamp and stuff envelopes ......
    Ciao

  • Best aftermarket car iphone 4 mp3 player with bluetooth paring working

Can anybody recommend a good aftermarket car stereo that works well with the iphone 4 mp3 player and has bluetooth paring working? Thanks

I got the JVC KW-XR810 at Best Buy.. Only a few of the mass issues but for the most part it plays well... I have found I have the best luck using it in ipod mode instead of headunit or external modes which if you get it you will see what I am referring too.. If you would happen to purchase this unit please contact me after you are familiar with it so maybe we can help each other overcome the common issues everyone is having with all the audio units in any make whether it be aftermarket or the factory radios.. in anything from the cheapest car to the most expensive from what I have read in this thread.. Hope this helps

  • Mp3 player not recognized. (Vision: M 60

    Hello.
I am using Win XP MCE. I just installed all the drivers that came with the CD. I had the MP3 player unplugged as instructed, and connected it at the point it asked me to. It is plugged into a port I know works, because it is the one I used for my old MP3 player.
Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Are you getting the following error message?
"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message."
I've been getting this message for months and nothing seems to fix the issue.
    I even tried
    http://mycreativefansite.googlepages.com/myzenchecker_home.html
And their program said I was running the latest version of XP, but for some reason the drivers won't recognize.
