Visit Plan

Hello,
Can any give me an idea to set-up as below.
Ability to show the outcome of a previous visit (outcome field & notes comments) in a subsequent visit/activity.

Dear,
anathram,
Once you have created the visit Plan...u need to assign the customers to it.
Only when you assign the customers to visit Plan by drag and drop of customers u will be able to generate the visit lists.

    The following settings were done:
    1.  SPRO->CRM-> Transaction -> Configure Z TASK Transaction Type
    2. SPRO->CRM-> Transaction ->Setting for Activity->Define Default Values for Visit Plan and Activity Scheduling.
    3.  SPRO->CRM-> Transaction ->Setting for Activity->Assign Categories to Transaction Types
    Kindly guide with expertize Knowledge.

    1) What is the standard transaction type for visit plans in SAP CRM?
    2) If I create a visit plan for my subordinates and once released can this visit plan be seen in the employee's calendar or how would it be seen in the employee's log in
    3) Once the visit plan is assigned to the employees and if the employee did complete the visit plan how will he/she record or update his observations in the system.

    I Just added the user parameter with value 5 and created visit plan,I dont see the error but I see the following warnings(as in screenshot)
    and the message type is W-ID:CRM-ACTIVITY-SCHED-NUMBER:035-V1:435-V2: -V3: -V4:
    I have made changes according to the warning.Now I dont see any warning as well.But I didnt understand what has user parameter got to do with visit plan?

    Hi all,
    I'm finding myself on a scenario that I think there is a huuuge gap in CRM.
    I need to Plan Customer visits, therefore I use the "Visit Plan".
    After creating visit Plan XX, I use the Visit Schedule to create Sales Call activities.
    Once they are created, there is no any traceability with the original Visit Plan!!!!
    Has anyone come across this gap???

    Hi Colleagues,
    After generating activities using a visit plan, we cannot see any relation between the activities and visit plan that generated them. So we cannot check % of fullfilment of visit plan. In other words how many activities were closed by this visit plan. We cannot even relate these activities.

    I undestand you that VP are just templates that we use in the activity scheduling to help masive activities creation.
    I'm just looking if someone had found a way to relate all activities generated in same run.
    Our customer wants to control the fulfillment of planed activities in a particular route a sales rep is assigned to.
    Based on this requirement I wanted to have any "mark" to gather all activities created in the activity scheduling based on a particular route, so I could see % of conclusion of these activities generated.
    When you generate activities using scheduling, its descriptions records customer name and directions. If there was any BadI in this process I could manipulate this field or any other to be able to relate all activities generated in same run.

  • Disallow user to edit other user's visit plan

    Hi,
    We are using the authorization object CRM_ORD_OP.
    We manage to control each user cannot open other collegue's calendar, and cannot view/edit/delete other user's activity scheduling.
    But the user can still edit/delete other user's visit plan. Is it anything that I miss out, or any authorization object that I need to add?

    For visit plans I would use CRMXIF_CRM_TOUR_MSG_SAVE function module. You can use report CRMXIF_TOUR_TEST to help you understanding the calling of this FM, by simulating the sending of an existing tour via IDOC, to another system.
    For activities shedulling I would use BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI function module. You can use report CRM_CALL_ACTIVITY_INTERFACE to help you filling this bapi.
    Both are RFC executable's (BAPI style), and the first one can be used as IDOC also.

    Hi,
    I got the same message.
    It seems that the number range is missing. Go to transaction SNRO and you will see that for object CRM_TOUR there is not any number range maintained.
    You can maintain it from here, but I have not found the transaction code to do it.
    Anyone has found it?

    problem solved...i can create a visit list without reference to a visit plan for unscheduled visits.

  • Business Activity in SAP CRM 7.0 WebUI

    Hello SAP Experts,
    In SAP CRM 7.0, under maintain activities, I have assigned categories to class interaction log, appointments and tasks.
    The same categories have been assigned to some business activities. For example Category Sales Call (001) is assigned to Interaction Log. The sales call is in turn assigned to Transaction Type- Business Activity.
    When I log on to web ui, I am able to see this business activity under Interaction Log and create the transaction.
    In the same way, when I assign category u2013CX4 (Telephone Call) to class Phone Call to a Transaction Type-Sales Call (0001-business activity), I am not able to see the same in web ui.
    The same holds good when categories are assigned to Class Miscellaneous, Letter, Meeting, E-mail etc, are in turn assigned to transaction types are visible in web ui.
    Kindly clarify, whether all the business activities fall under APPOINTMENT, INTERACTION LOG, TASK, E-MAIL AND VISIT PLAN in WEB UI.
    The other category class, apart from the above mentioned, where can they be used?
    If yes, how do I do the customizing which would enable me to see all in WEB UI?

    Hi Raghavendran,
    I am facing the same problem. Other than Appointments,Tasks,Email and Interaction record I cannot create any other Activities.
    I defined a new Transaction type assigned the category Misc but cannot create the Activity on WEBUI. As Raja suggested I have also assigned the Channel as WEBUI and ICWEBCLIENT but still does not work. Is there any Role specific customization that needs to be performed?
    Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how you resolved it.

    Dear Experts,
    we have a customer requirement to create automatically Activities/Tasks if a certain date is reached. The user just want to receive a alarm/note when there is a created acitivitie.
    Which BAdi we casn use for the automatic creation of activities? Which options we have to do that?
    Relevant tables are CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ACTIVITY_H as I know.
    Note: We can no use the visit plan.

    Hi Oliver,
    CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and CRM_ORDER_SAVE are the function modules to create and save a business transaction. As you have the requirement to create Activities, Arden has suggested these function modules(transaction SE37). Based on your business scenario, you can use these FMs in BADI implementations to achieve the functionality.
