Visited a secure site to renew my membership, but there was no indication on FIREFOX WINDOW that the site was secure. Whereas, when using Internet Explorer the usual padlock symbol was displayed.

The 'send reset info' only shows if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.

Did you see a "Bookmark" tab in your Menu Bar? All of your IE Favorites should be there if you pull it down.

Why did I get a TLS error message with Firefox but was successful when switching to Internet Explorer?

I was making an online transaction, pressed "go" (or its equivalent) and received TLS connection failed message.
I switched to Internet Explorer and "go" went ok first time.

The website may try to fallback to TLS 1.0 in a way that is no longer allowed in current releases or may be using a deprecated cipher suite.
You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location/address bar and use its search bar to locate this pref:

You can double-click the line to modify the pref and add the full domain (TEXT) to this pref.
If there are already websites (domains) in this list then add a comma and the new domain (no spaces).
You should only see domains separated by a comma in the value column.

Hi good people hope this Monday finds you well and is more like a Thursday.
I've recently been trying to convert this 164MB (imovie project which I exported to my desktop as a quicktime movie) movie to a iphone/ipod 37.9 MB file. It used to work a charm and the new converted (smaller file) would pop up in my itunes movie folder but now that doesn't happen and on top of that i get this -
Expected "," or "j" but found identifier
*? * is it? it's a scary and b very confusing.

JW player won't play files on a page on a site but will play other files on same site

i am a frequent visitor to a website call www.tvpmmvault.com, some of the pages have audio flies that use jwplayer, on one of the pages the files won't play in the player giving me an error message that says the file can not be played the funny the thing is that other pages that use jwplayer work just fine and the same page works ok on chrome

What was the media format of the file on that site? The url to the file can be seen in the "Show Page Source" options when you right click on the webpage.

Page not displaying in Safari and Internet explorer but showing up in Mozila

Hi,
I bought this pre-made template which I would like to use for my website. When I upload it to my website and try to open the pages like "Contact us", "News", "Team members" and so on, they are not displaying in Safari and Interner Explorer, but they DO show up in Mozilla. Also, the pages I created myself do show up in all browsers. I really need to fix this problem as I already put a lot of effort to create my web site and now it is not working online. Once I'm in a site I can not open anything in that site, Such as paying a credit card was able to click on the calendar & pick a date, now all I get when I click on the calendar is a blank page.

Everything works great with Internet Explore So I know the problem is FFox. Going on for about 2 weeks now. For example trying to make a calendar with shutterfly. Once I click on upload, to find my photos I get a blank page, Banking site, click on the a check # was able to see the pd check front & back now all I get is a blank page.
