Vista/Flash - "Run as Admin" HELP!!!

They only way I can get webpages w/ flash to work properly is
if I run IE using the "Run as administrator" option. Is there
anyways to get flash to work without having to do this?

Vista came preloaded on my new computer. the only way i can get

HELP! Cannot make Flash run in IE7 Vista - worked before

I have been working on this issue for 6-7 hrs and can't make
it work, studied many forums inc this one and tried many diff.
recommended solutions, but to no avail....so I am posting to plea

thanks Darren, however it didn't work for me, is there
something I did wrong, some q's here
- do i uninstall flash b4 doing the reset min?
- do i run as admin for reset min
- do i need to run the other file in the zip file?
- attached dump of the reset min not sure if ok, it shows no

won't download, just the loading bar then goes to next page with

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, maybe after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

Flash runs unbearably slow on my Powerbook, help!

So I'm running a 12" Powerbook with a 1.33 Ghz G4, 1.25 GB RAM, and an NVidia GeForce FX Go5200 64MB RAM... Flash runs unbearably slow on my machine and it just happened all of the sudden. Although this issue came up the first time about two years ago I just bore the burden of it. But being a web developer it's just ridiculous. Now this only happens with videos, and no it's not related to the buffer, I've read that there an issue with Flash rendering techniques that caused it to slow down dramatically at like Flash 8 or something. I desperately need help resolving this and I'm wondering if anyone can help?? Thanks!

How much available disk space is there?
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop, then click: Get Info. In the Get Info window, click the discovery triangle so it's facing down. You will see; Capacity and Available Make sure you have 10% available disk space, 15% is better. Your Mac needs free disk space in order to render video. Could that be the issue?
Wouldn't hurt to check the boot disk for errors:
If not, shut down PBook. Now, press the power button, hold down the C key, and insert the restore disk all at the same time. Keep holding down the C key until you see the Apple logo. An Installer window will open but DO NOT proceed with any installations, instead from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Disk Utility. In the DU window, select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab and click: Verify If DU reports errors, click Repair. When it's finished, from the Menu Bar select Utilities/Startup Disk and select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart.

Vista-Flash different type of issue

I've done the whole reinstall process of the latest verison
of flash on my new laptop which runs vista home premium. I've run
the install program as the admin, but the only way I can get flash
to work is if I open Explorer by using "run as administrator". Does

Did you check your screen settings? Under 'System prefrences' > 'Screen', see if there is a check at the autmatical adjustment of your brightness. Are you able to adjust the brightness down or up, with the respectively brightness-buttons (F1 and F2)?

ITunes will not run on Windows 7 unless "run as Admin" is selected

I have been running iTunes in Windows 7 for a long time, then about 2 weeks ago, it stopped running, I double click the icon and it just hangs then nothing happens... I read through posts and found one that said to try running as admin, I tried it and it did run and I was able to use it. However I cannot run my TuneUp Companion in this mode and a message pops up telling me so.
In other words, the workaround is fine, just to run it in an emergency, but it is not by any means the preferred mode.

I created a program that need to be run on a companies computers, the people who will run it can't have admin rights, however, if the program is run without admin rights all it does is create an error txt file, with the following:

They wrote the software, including the native DLL libraries, and probably encountered this problem before on dual processor machines.

Do you know how to use Flash?
I have been trying for months to find someone who can use
flash, who can help me, with no luck.
I need my links on my website updating, just a couple of them
need the text changing as i need
to change the name/title of some pages. I have tried to do it
myself (using a trial version of flash,
as i dont have flash). the site was made using dreamweaver.
the files are .FLA
and before anyone says 'get the person who made the site to
do it'....He wont, ive tried.
when i tried to change them myself i cocked them up and now

If you are using Help 》updates, it is outdated. You can however go to Product Updates on the Adobe.com website and download your updates there. I am not at my desk b<t when I get back, I'll get the links unless someone else can do that sooner.

[Solved] Problem getting Batch Files to run as Admin in Win 8.1

I'm trying to control certain Services with batch files to have them stop automatically at start. However, with certain services, stopping requires run as admin. My user account has admin privileges.
For example, a batch file with this command will stop with a command prompt requiring Y/N to confirm the stop.
NET STOP "Audiosrv"
I can create a shortcut and set it to run as admin and it will stop the service without issue when it's clicked. However, if I put the shortcut in the Windows startup folder, so the script runs automatically at boot it seems to ignore the shortcuts.
I've tried the RunAs command below in a batch file, but it doesn't stop the service.
runas /user:jaguar\Admin NET STOP "Audiosrv"

Hello Peter, that works great. I found I can add multiple arguments by separating them with a semi colon and I could hide the powershell window with the command at the end.
My last question is if there's an additional command that will hide or minimize the command line window when the script runs?

Reader 10.0 has insuff priveledges to install, running as Admin.

I am trying to install 10.0 but continually get "Installer has insufficeient priveledges to access this directory:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Replicate" Installer cannot continue, Log in as Admin.. yadda yadda..
I AM the Admin user, right clicking and Running As Admin, but I continually get this message.. and I cant find Reader 9.0 to go back to.. Can anyone help please? I've re- d/l'ed the file several times, hoping its somehow corrupted and a new d/l would fix it.. nope..
Windows 7, HP, (latest updates), 4GB ram, Quad core.. i just cant think of how to fix this.. I'd be happy with 8.0 at this point..

Create Run as admin / Run as Program?

I want to create a windows application which contains 2 buttons Called
1). Run
2). Run As Admin
Now I want to open my visual studio using the above two buttons
and I have hard codded the Admin UID and PWD in my code and while clicking Run as admin it should open my Visual studio with admin rights.
and when I click Run it should open as normal
My current login is normal user only and I have Admin UID and pswd and I am using VS 2012.
Your early response it could be very help full.

But it's not recommended to hard code the username and password in your application because of the security problem. Others
may retrieve the credential information by the application configuration file or assembly file. It's more safe to prompt the UAC for the user.

Uninstall the old Flash plugin versions > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
And turn OFF Extensions in Sarfari > Prerferences > Extensions. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
