Vista tells me that iTunes is not compatible with my laptop
I have a brand new laptop that I am using as my Media computer. I have iTunes on my PC and other laptop with no problems. My iPod is great.
However, I have tried 3 times to install the newest version of iTunes and Vista tells me it's not compatible. I tried the 64-bit version (I have a 32-bit system) but same message.
What can I do?
Do you have the service pack (SP1) for Vista installed ?

Upgrade to the newest version of iTunes first to see if that helps.

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
With SilverLight, Microsoft attempted to create their own version of what a replacement for Flash could be - but not to universal acclaim. You can read more about it here:

So, if you go to any sites that have been designed for this new Silverlight stuff, you can download the plug-in from here (but make certain that you are downloading SilverLight v.1.0 for OS X (10.4.8 upwards) if you are using a PPC Mac, but even this will not work with Safari 4. Version 2 only works with Intel Macs and does work with Safari 4/5. The solution is to download and install the latest version of Flip4Mac, which now includes a Silverlight component:

I recently upgraded to Yosemite. Yesterday when I opened up the iPhoto (which I have it in my external drive due to the size of file) I get the message that it is not compatible with the new system(or something like that) and ask me to upgrade so I did. Then another message pops ups and asked for rebuilding the Thumbnails. So I clicked rebuild. Next it asked me to do one of three things(I can't remember all of them) so I chose the last one which is to download a photo to iPhoto. Now I only have that photo I downloaded in iPhoto file but not the rest of my pictures. The iPhoto library which is stored in my EHD shows it has 349GB but it only show one thumbnail of the last picture I downloaded after the rebuild process. What can I do to recover the rest of the file?

So apparently Itunes is not compatible with Windows 8. Are you planning on fixing this problem anytime in the near guture?

Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?

I made a project on my PC computer, saving it as a tif. I then took it to the Art Institute, editing it on their Apple I wish to tweak it at home but now Ps claims that it is not compatible with this cc version of Ps, where it was originally created! HELP!!!
The files are the same, regardless of OS version.
Most likely your file was corrupted when you transferred it. -
I have an old Airport Extreme that I want to password protect. I being told that Airport Utility 5.6 is needed to manage the base station. When I download it and try to install that utility I told that it is not compatible with OS X 10.7.4
The odds are that you downloaded AirPort Utility 5.6.1.....which will only work with Leopard and Snow Leopard Macs.
Since your post indicates that you are using Lion 10.7.4, you need the correct utility for Lion. The link is below:

ITunes Video not compatible with 5th generation 60GB video iPod
I downloaded several videos from the iTunes store to my Mac G4 1.67 powerbook. When updating my iPod, I received a message that some of the videos, really only one, was not downloaded to the iPod because the format was not compatible with my new 5th generation iPod. It seems to play fine on my G4. How can there be a compatibility problem with at video purchased from iTunes and downloaded to a Mac and transferred to a 5th generation iPod ? Who is writing the review? It's not an apple official. How reliable is information in reviews? I've read reviews that have incorrect information. Why not put the fact that a course is incompatible with iPod right in the course description. It would save a lot of time and wasted bandwidth. Why was the book allowed to be downloaded onto an unsupported device?
