Visualizer not filling the entire screen

Hello everyone,
In iTunes 10 I have noticed that when I use the iTunes Visualizer, it only uses maybe a quarter of the screen at the bottom left. I do not have this problem with any of the other visualizer, only the iTune Visualizer. This only happens in full screen mode.
Any why is when i esc out the visualizer full screen it keeps the visualizer but just filling the iTunes screen.
Anyone else having this problem or have a resolution?
Thanks!!!

I've not seen this - it goes full screen for me provided that option is checked in Preferences>Advanced. Possibly you should update to 10.6.4, though that's a guess.

That's normal. Escape gets you out of full screen, menu View>Hide Visualiser stops it altogether.

  • CS6 (Windows) My Images are not filling the entire program window

My sequence is set to 1920x1080 and I have imported some images (Tiff's) into it that are of the resolution. Yet, when I go to those images in the timeline, they are not filling the entire available space. The entire image is being displayed, but it is supposed to fill the entire screen. You can see for yourself with this image attachments.
    Ideas?

OK, the Default Scale to Frame Size box was unchecked, I checked it.
    The aspect ratios match.
I understand what you are saying about pixel depth, but 1920 x 1080 is still the width and height of the image and the image and sequence both show the same width and height, think that I should not get what I am getting here.
I checked the "Modify|Interpret Footage" option and the radio button is set to "Use Pixel Ratio From File: Square Pixels (1.0)" and changed it to Conform to Square Pixels (1.0) and still have the same results.
This is not happening with just one image, it is happening with all of them. If I bring in an image that is 3840x2160 (200%) and then set the scale to 50%, I still get the same black space. So, it is either fill the screen and cut off some of the displayed image or live with black space. There is just something wrong here I am not seeing.

  • How to set a background image to fill the entire screen on any device in a spark mobile application

    Hi,
I started developing a mobile application with Flex.
I'm trying to set a background image to fill the whole screen. I've been stucked at this point for days now. I tried everything and no solution seems to work for me.
I'm using a TabbedViewNavigatorApplication and i need to set some background images on views.
I need my image to fill the entire screen on any device. i don't need to mantain image aspect ratio,  just need it to be fullscreen. This seemed to work when setting a custom skin on the TabbedViewNavigatorApplication, however this blocked all my views for some reason and all components contained in view became invisible.
Can you please tell me how can i achieve this?
    Kind regards,
    Dan

Basically you need a larger image which can accommodate any device. The trick is to show only what each device can display, so therefore some clipping will occur based on device. Have something centered and towards margins have a  gradient or just plane colors that way the stuff in the middle will be visible on every device while nobody will care if you are clipping from the color fill.

  • How do I get SD video (4:3 aspect ratio) to fill the entire screen?

Any 4:3 video I stream has black bars on either side of the picture. I have a Samsung HDTV, and I can stream content using its own pc to tv streaming software and 4:3 videos fill the entire screen. Or if I play a DVD with 4:3 aspect ratio that will also automatically fill the screen. With the Apple TV I cannot make it fill the entire screen. Is this something to do with the signal being transmitted over an HDMI cable?
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how have you resolved it?

I know it is displaying 4:3 video correctly, however I'd prefer if there was some stretching (non-linear) so that it fills the entire screen. Having 2 big black bars on either side gets very annoying. There doesnt seem to be an option to fill the entire screen when streaming from the apple tv. There are options when streaming from Samsung's own software (I don't want to use samsungs pc share manager as the apple tv's user interface is much better).
Are my options restricted because the signal is transmitted through an hdmi cable? Seems to be what other websites might be suggesting.

  • The picture from my AppleTv on my Samsung LCD TV doesn't fill the entire screen.  It is only a strip across the screen

The picture on the screen when viewing movies on Apple TV on a samsung lcd screen is only a strip across the screen and doesn't fill the entire screen.  Any settings suggestions?

If you can get to the settings on the AppleTV attempt to adjust the resolution settings to something more appropriate.

  • When I make a mis-stroke screen images balloon up to fill the entire screen. how can I return them to normal?

I don't know what I do to make the image blow up. They don;t fill the entire screen, but fill up the normal-sized screen. This has happened on two sites. How can I get them back to normal.

Is this on Android or on the desktop? On Android, try double-tapping to zoom back out. On the desktop, to reset zoom, try Ctrl+0 (that's a zero).

  • Enlarging a Window To Fill The Entire Screen

This article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61474 says that Option + click on zoom button should enlarge a window to fill the screen. It doesn't. It enlarges in a way that is somehow proportional to the content but it won't fill the screen.
Does anyone know a way to expand a window to fill the entire screen?

    Yeah. Isn't it though?

  • My force quit window fills the entire screen. How can I resize it? OS 10.7.5.

My force quit window fills the entire screen. How can I resize it? I have iOS 10.7.5.

    Click the "Green" button?
Or, Click and Drag the Lower-Right-Corner.
I've tried both on a Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion system, and they both affected the Force Quit dialog box.

  • Firefox is filling the entire screen so that the controls are off the top & bottom of the screen, & I have to log off the computer to get out of Mozilla.

Usually, there are controls at the top & bottom of the screen, & I can log off whatever program I'm in, but now Firefox is filling the whole screen: I can go from one tab to another within Firefox; however, I can't get out of Firefox without logging off the computer.

It is possible that the screen is too high and that the title bar and status bar do not show.
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

  • IDVD slide show not filling the TV screen

We have a 16:9 LCD TV. When I make a slide show in a 16:9 iDVD file from 16:9 iPhoto images or an exported iPhoto slide show, on playback with DVD player or on the TV, there are black bars around the image. This is not a deal breaker, but I am curious why this happens and if it can be avoided? I am happy that the entire image is within the black bars.
    Thank you.

All the photos are 2816 × 2112 and 1.5mb jpeg files. This should be more than adequate don't you think.
    ... ah... not really
    Two things:
    1) More pixels aren't always better because QuickTime doesn't do a great job in downsizing large still images to the necessary video size
    and
    2) 2816x2112 isn't in the necessary 4:3 ratio (I make it 3.819:3). This means the image won't fill the screen and will have black bands on the left and right edges. 2816x2112 is 16:9 either (it's 12:9).

  • How do I display the entire image by default in Photos app instead of filling the entire screen?

A lot of the images that I have stored on my phone are taken with another camera. Whenever I view them in the photo app they don't show the full image until I pinch them. Is there a setting that shows the entire image by default? Don't want to be pinching every photo and when other people view my images they often don't realise that there is actually more to see.

Yes, this is terrible. I am not showcasing the otherwise fine screen but my carefully framed photos. How arrogant from Apple to violently zoom to my pics.
This needs to be addressed ASAP! Everyone please give feedback http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • Filling the entire screen in Photoshop Elements 10

I don't know how to fill my screen with the image as I can in regular Photoshop. There's all these editing tools taking up much of the screen.Any help would be appreciated.

Ctrl+plus or Ctrl+minus to zoom in and out. Ctrl+zero to fit.
In tabbed windows you can drag out the bottom right corner to cover as much or as little of the screen as you wish. But first go to Edit à Preferences à General and then check the box “Allow Floating documents in Full Edit Mode”
