Visualizer to different screen

Hi
I would like to send the output of the iTunes Visualizer to a screen other than the one that iTunes is open on. Eg. I have a projector or TV connected to my PB (appears as seperate display) and want to be able to show visualizer full screen on the external screen and still select tunes and prioritise playlists during playback. Is it possible, and if not why not? I can only seem to get Visualizer on the external screen by mirroring the display which menas I cant change playing tracks without this also appearing on the external screen.

It's not possible because Apple has not programmed iTunes to do what you want.

How can i launch same app on different screen in musca

hi,all
i use musca on my laptop, demenu as app launcher, and i connect a 22 inch monitor to my laptop, using separate x window by nvidia, so there is screen 0 and screen 1
when i launch chromium first , it will appear on the screen where i excute the launch command, but when i want to start a new chromium, it will stick to the screen that
the first chromium appear.
my question is how can i start two chromium on two different screen?

it seems to be chromium's problem.
when i excute chromium on another screen's urxvt, it say:
"Created new window in existing browser session."

If you want to work with Mac OS X, you need one computer per simultaneous user.
What you are describing, " Multiple simultaneous logins to a single computer" is not avialable on a regular Mac of any description, unless you decide to use Unix tools instead of Mac OS X.
Server will happily store files for many, many users and provide them to multiple (up to hundreds) of computers at "near hard Drive" speeds over Gigabit Ethernet. It can make the File Sharing part easy.

Creating an app for different screen resolutions/sizes

I'm currently in the process of learning application development for the iPhone and could do with some help on how to cater for retina and non-retina screens. I want to create image assets for each screen type.
What the best way to go about detecting if the user has an iPhone 4 for example and selecting the appropriate images for that resolution? I understand that you attach '2x' to file names when coding natively but for a pure Actionscript project where the assets might be contained in a swc file what would be best to do?

The biggest advantage of building apps in Flash CS5.5 or Flex is the ability to target multiple devices and the 2 major platforms, iOS and Android oh and also Blackberry (anyone?).
Best way to approach a build is to assume you do not know the screen size your app will be used on, since Android is so all over the place.
I have been using stage.stageHeight and stage.stageWidth religiously for all my scaling although I have heard that method has its problems, it has worked well for me, I have put out 2 apps personally and 3-4 for work using this method both in Landscape and Portrait orientations and this method has worked well.
The easiest way to build a multi screen app is to design it for an average ratio, 3:4 being the lowest = iPad so lets say you pick some decent size that wont be too big for smaller screens like the iPhone 3gs 480x320 and wont be too low for high res screens like the new Google Nexus or the Motorola Xoom 1280x800. I usually target the iPhone 4 screen 960x640 right now it seems to fall in the middle between older phones and tablets.
The real quick and dirty way of doing it is to build all your assets inside a movie clip and then scale that movie clip proportionally to the stage, first checking to make sure none of it would be cut off due to different screen ratios, this is not the best way of doing it but it works well and its the easiest method.
A better way is to scale and place your content in relation to the stage, again the stage.stageWidth and Height properties are your friends so if you have an element that always goes in the middle you would place it my_mc.x = stage.stageHeight / 2 and same with the y, you can also scale it to the stage my_mc.width = stage.stageWidth/4 this way the movie clip is always 1/4th of the stage width regardless of the screen, its a lot planning up front but this method allows you to cover the entire screen instead of just cramming your movie clip in there however it fits.
Let me know if any of that helped I can go into further detail but I feel like I am rambling on.

I finally figured out how to fix this. First I reviewed "Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep of stay in sleep mode." I noted the bullet: "Do you have any other external USB or Firewire devices connected?" I have an CP685AVR for a UPS for my Mac. I replaced the battery a few months ago. I also hooked up Apple's 'Energy Saver' power management software to the CP685AVR using the USB connection. I disconnected it, and that solved the problem. I still have the UPS and battery back-up; I just can't "monitor" the battery. What's to monitor? It always said the battery was 100% charged even right up to the time the previous battery failed. Displaying remote panel on different screens with different screen resolution

I am running a vi on the PXI . But when i try to open the remote panel it gets shifted on different screens
with different screen resolution. I have tried to set the windows run time position using the vi properies
but to no avail. Can anyone help me on this issue??????

Slave display with different screen..

In many instances of machine applications where LV is used the PC monitor is the primary ( and only) display.
But there are also many sensor DPMs ( digital panel meters ) which are provided for user convenience. And there is a problem here - never do the values displayed by LV match with that of the DPMs! Both are within 0.05 or so but still not the same.
Also is the fact that I need to find a place to fix these DPMs . All in all there needs to be a more elegant solution.
I was thinking of another 15" LCD monitor that can be made to show only the DPM values in a tabular format and the input for this monitor SHOULD come from LV and must the same as shown on the primary monitor. Maybe a shared variable can be used for this ?? If I use the same variable to update the value in primary as well as the slave montior, then the issue of variance is eliminated.
Question is : Can LV be made to drive two different monitors with different screen images at the same time ? Is there any plug in hardware that can help do this ?
Any ideas are most welcome.

Yeah I have made some progress. But not got to the end still.
- Put the secondary monitor in DualView ( independent configuration )
- Edit the VI properties of the MaxValGauge. vi to run in the secondary monitor
With all of the above I ran the MaxValMaster.VI. Immediatley the MaxValGauge also was launched and I could move it with my mouse "into the second monitor " So far so good.
I stopped the main VI and then was surprised to see that the MaxValGauge.vi vanish from the second monitor and worse still the needle shrinked and the markings vanished ( I do not know how that happens ).See the attached image.
I thought once manually positioned and stopped, LV will remember the position. But it is not so I think. Maybe I need to programmatically set the bounds as given in an example in this thread. In the meanwhile I would like to know why the needle got disfigured so badly ...?

Why SAP Standard Program Can full screen in different screen resolution ,but my own program can't?

It appears that the full-screen display will only work on the display that has the menu bar.
You can switch the menu bar to your external display by going to Solid Apple -> System Preferences -> Displays, then Arrangement.
Grab the menu bar and drop it on the icon representing your external display.
When you full screen an app it should then full screen on the Cinema display.
I wish it would just full screen on the display the window is on, but that is evidently not the way it was designed to work.

From Subtype 1, indotype is automatically updated as it is a standard program. But for subtype 2 i am using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION for updating the record which is ending with error, as employee which i am trying to update is already locked by me only through PA30. So this function module ends with Complex error. Please suggest how to update the infotype with subtype 2.

Updating field on different screen.

I am trying to update the fields on screen SAPMV56A 1020 (addtional data within shipments) from another screen. The other screen is a popup that allows the user to input some data and rather than have the user manually populate the additional data fields, I would like it to populate them with the correct data when the sve button in the popup is pressed. The popup is a different screen and therefore I cannot just set the field value like normal.
Is there a way to specify the specific sceen you want to update a field on?

Can you explain what exactly is your requirement. AS per my understanding your requirement is to update the screen internal table using a function module. But, I doubt that you will get something like that.
But, since the logic of the screen modification is handled in the Process Before Output Module of the Screen, you can put the code to handle the screen modification there. Also, you can declare some global flag which you can modify the value based on your Function Code triggered in PAI Module. And later in the PBO Module you can check the flags and based on this values you can make the changes.
In the TOP Include you can declare a global flag of type Char 1.And set the flag in the PAI and check the same in PBO and then clear the same in that module.

Need help resizing pages for different screens

Hey guys,
Ok well I made this website that has a lot of pages now and
the only problem is that I have a 21" widescreen monitor so
everything I created has to be scrolled on a lot of smaller
screens. I'm almost possitive that there is a way to tell the html
to resize the website when different screen sizes are detected. Any
help would be great. Thanks.
Also if there is a way to do this, then would it be possible
to change the settings sitewide without using templates?

There is - it's called "design"! You have to build the page
to be
flexible - see this tutorial as an example of how to do it
with tables:

Once you have the page built, you cannot just drop in a magic
pill and make
it resize itself.
And remember, screen size is not the real variable you need
to worry about -
it's browser viewport size. Even when you know my screen is
1280x1024, you

Parallax scrolling for different screens

Hi there...
Does anybody know how to deal with different screen sizes and parallax scrolling?
It know the 100% width option so that is not the issue.....the issue is the height!!
Laptop versus desktop etc..
So what is the best height to use so it will fit all screen sizes?

I faced the same problem with the overflow controller.
Then depending on the number of records that I am showing in the table I have adjusted the size of the overflow controller in pixels.
my code looks some thing like this.
lv_oflc_height = 53 + ( lv_actual_visible_rows * 21 ).
if the filter is on 20 more pixels added to the height.

                            height = "<%= lv_oflc_height %>px"

and this worked for some standard resolutions with out big difference.
