VL02N , Output type , Smartforms, V/34 ???

Hello Friends
I need a Print Prog name in V/34 for Output Type LD00. I do have smartform Name, which is 'LE_SHP_DELNOTE' Delivery Note (SmartForms).
I am using VL02N to print Delivery Note.

As per your question, I assume you are asking for getting a pop-up window for selecting the Output types when executing the ISSUE OUTPUT transaction in VL02N.
If you configured the Output type and maintain necessary setting in Output Determination procedure and Condition records.,& assignment of Smartforms and Print programs, then as per standard
A pop-up will appear with the Output type and the Processing status of it, there you will have options
1. To print
2. To Print preview
3. To check Print options.
This is the standard design, Please check with the Developer if this design was modified in the Print program .
Please revert back if you need more details.

VL02N Output type issue.

Hi,
When I execute the tcode VL02N for any output type (ZEU5) for print preview and external mail then it is giving error that "Output could not be issued".
I have also checked the config of NACE , it seems to be ok.
So what are the other possibilities of this error.

Configuration of NACE does not make all the difference. The only way to come to the solution is to debug from point when button is clicked for print preview or etc.
Possible reasons may be there calling program before making a call to script or smartform encountering a problem. It may be that program is not able to get the desired data correctly from the tables or some other problem(Mainly due to subrc not coming to be 0).
Apart from this even if call is made successfully to the form but inside there could be problem like using command in smartform.

SAVE, Output type, Smartform, MESSAGING, SPOOL ??

Hi Experts,
When I SAVE(cntrl+S) the Inbound delivery via VL31N, one ZIB output type going to SPOOL, say receiving report, a smartform.
But, in one condition, I do NOT want to get the output & NO SPOOL.
So, let meknow that,
1 - How to get it done, I mean, Which routine/include of SAP code performing this function? Is it MESSAGING routine?
2 - if so, Is there any USER-EXITS, in order to put my IF condition?

Configuration output type for VL02N - creating output type

Dear Sapguru,
I want to configure output type for VL02N transaction for IDOC creation,Here scenario is to connect SAP to third party system in IS retail.
VL02N- Output type configuration In only return delivery case.
Can anybody guide step by step cycle configuration for output type.Looking forward for your quick reply.
Note: Output type required for IDOC,to communicate with third party system,not for print function.

If my understanding is correct,
This seems to be a outbound Idoc scenario where Idoc will be sent by SAP to third party for a return delivery notification.
Output type configuration steps are as follows :
1) Identify the standard output type (Application - V2, Transmission Medium - 6 ) for e.g. LAVA which is very close to your requirement.
2) Use this output type as a reference & create a copy output type of your own.
3) Use a suitable access sequence or create your own access sequence as per your requirement.
4) Assign access sequence to the output type.
5) Maintain output determination procedure (connect your output type to a suitable procedure )
6) Assign output determination procedure. (to your delivery document type)
7) Maintain required output condition records through T Code - VV21 against your newly created output type.
8) Set up the partner profiles as per your requirement (T code - WE20)
9) Check the reflection/ effects of your new output setup at the delivery document level (VL02N).
You may quickly access these settings through T codes - NACE.

Can anyone please help me to generate a smartform for picklist output type EK00 for Tcode VL02N. In application V2 the standard program is RVADEK01 and the form SD_PICK_SINGLE,
what is the best way to create smartform and driver program , can I use the Standard Program or write the new driver program..

Output Type for VL02N

Dear Experts,
I have created a output type for the application V2.
our requirment is when a user goto transaction VL02N click on Outbound Delivery->Issue Delevery Output then the Output Type should be displayed and if he clicks on that Output Type the script should execute.
my question is after we create Output type is anything else to do to get that Output Type in specific transaction?

Spool not generated in VL02n though output type is processed

Hello All,
I passed control parameters in function module WFMC_PREPARE_SMART_FORM.
So when i goto VL02n and process my output type , in further data if i give option 3 - send with application own transaction , the preview of the smartform is fine.
In further data if i give option 4, send when immediately saving application, and save my delivery document, spool should be generated. But if i check my spool requests, no spool is generated.. But the output type is processed(GREEN).
Please let me know your suggestions.

I checked in SM58. It showed an error.
I checked my function module attributes. It was normal. Changed it to Remote enabled.
Now spool is generated.

4 delivery smartform printouts when we I trigger an output type

Hi SD gurus,
I need to print 4 copies of the delivery smartform when I give the output type in VL02N at one go? Can we do it.

If you want to print 4copies, then you should only code it in your program. Else you can put the output document in a spool by updating the spool parameter in your code. Then you can go the spool in SP01 and can print n number of times you want.
Use of Multiple Issuing button
If the output type is triggered already during delivery creation, and then you go to VL02.....now
If this button is ticked on for hte output, then it will automatically proposed once again
If button is not ticked, then it will not be automatically proposed. You have to manually enter the line in the output window to trigger it.

Smartforms PO - output type external send - for purchase order

Dear
I want to define a specific output type for example ZPOM, with medium 'External Send'. The communication Strategy is SMTP (MAIL).
The configuration of the Processing Routine is the following:
Program: - FM06P
Form Routine: ENTRY_MEU
SMARTFORM: Z_MM_PURCHASEORDER.
When we create this mesage in the PO, no mail is send. There is also no processing log available.
Is it possible to use the same smartform with print program that is used for Medium 'Print Output' for medium 'External Send'?

What you need to do is to create in SPAD Output device for E-mail ( in the Host Spool Access Method define M:E-Mail to Receiver/Owner) and then in the 'Print Output' assign this device.

How to make use of communication method in output type for new smartform?

Hi all,
My requirement, send the smartform to the carrier by fax/email/print based on the output condition records created.
Here are the things that I had done.
1) created a ZSMARTFORMS - smartforms
2) created a ZPRINTPROGRAM - print program
3) created a ZTCFRT - transaction code
3) created an ZFRT - output type
I am stuck here. What are the next steps ? I want when I run transaction code: ZTCFRT, this print program ZPRINTPROGRAM will call this ZSMARTFORMS smartforms and send/fax/print to the carrier.
It would be great that someone can share the steps with me.

If you have only created it, then you need to call some functions in your PRINT Program and these are:

After calling second function, system execution will reach to the SMARTFORM (which you have created). There in smartform you can do whatever you want.

Requirement :I have to create a print program for the smartform where the output type may be print out,email or fax ,so i need to put the condition for selecting the output type (like printout,email,fax).

It is not the output type that has to be changed
it is the MEDIUM which you have to change and configure
for printout medium is 1
for FAX medium is 2
for MAIL it is 7.
so instead of printout change the medium to 2 or 7 for the same output type and attach to the same driver program and smartform/form.

IMG settings after creating new output type for a purchase order smartform

Hi all,
Do I need to make changes in IMG after creating a new output type in NACE for a purchase order smartform?
I have customized a purchase order smartform according to the requirements and copied an existing output type and assigned the custom form name.
When I am trying to create a purchase order to test it, I am going to the message tab for assigning the output type and if I press F4 on the output type field or if I give the copied output type there, it says output type is not defined.
Do I need to make any changes in SPRO?

Yes. You have to add the new output type to the proper message determination schema.
Go to the IMG and select Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output control -> Message determination schemas -> Define message schema for purchase order -> Maintain Message Determination Schema: Purchase Order.
Select the proper schema, then Control Data and insert your new output type into the schema (eventually with any requirement that may be necessary... you probably want to use 101 like in case of the regular NEU message).
This should do it.

Program name if no output type for dunning smartform

Hello Experts,
I want to know if smart form is not associated with any output type then how can I know which program is calling the smartform. I checked out in TNAPR with the smartform parameter value and system did not returns any hits. It means smartform is not associated with any output message type.
I am working with a dunning smart form where I need to make some changes, Transaction F150 displays the form print preview(One can also print from the transaction), But I have no idea which program is actually calling the smartform.
Secondly I made some changes in the text element but when through F150 I again viewed the form display, some thing I deleted from the text element still appearing in the preint preview. Could anyone throw some light on this and guide me.
secondly how to put breakpoint in the smartform, Normally in abap report you just press ctrl+shift and f12 but in breakpoint it is not applied.

FI Forms will not save under TNAPR table
FI Form names and Program Try to use below tables :
Tables : T001F or TTXFP
There is no output types for FI Forms,
Check the below link :

path for configuration is :
SPRO
FInancial Accounting->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Business Transactions->Dunning Notices.
Just goto SMARTFORMS Transaction -> use smartform name -> execute smartform -> it will go SE37 -> click on display -> here you can set up break point.
or you can use print program to setup debugging.
Now run F150 Transaction -> here you are able to see debugging mode

i have set in PO output type with program SAPFM06P and smartform Z12TEST_FORM, how come system takes MEDRUCK form as the output ?
i want to use smartform to display PO printout, did i miss any setting

These forms are to be attached to the message type ...and then the same message type has to be taken into consideration for your message schema as well....
Check you settings for assignment once again....
Check from the message output, go to determination analysis and check what all parameters system is taking into consideration while output....
Check schema form there itself and then check the message type for this schema....
