VL02N - show delivery item info LIPS-MVGR2

Hello,
We are unable to see delivery item info LIPS-MVGR2 in VL02N transactions. Is it possible to some how show this information on the screen? Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the item Material tab does not have additional fields that can be turned on/off by configuration.  You can, however, add tabs to the overview or item display using delivery BADI LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_ITEM to display more details or process your own data.  See the documentation in the IMG or the BADI interface for more details.

  • How to update batch number, Storage loc, qty in VL02N on delivery items?

    Hi all,
Any idea how to perform the following using a BAPI or function call with regards to updating a Delivery (<b>VL02N</b>)?
    1) Enter or update a storage location on a delivery item?
    2) Batch split a delivery item to give multiple batch numbers. For example if delivery item is '000001' then after batch split additional delivery items with batch number assigned will appear as:
       item,    storage loc, batch,    qty
    '900001',  '0001', 2070062806,  1000
    '900002',  '0001', 2070052606,  3000
    '900003',  '0001', 2070025366,  3000
can this be done using WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE/_2 or someother fn mod.
Do not wish to use BDC or call transaction. Any help appreciated.
    thanks,

  • Show item info does not show on all files

I need that "show item info" very much, because it shows, how many sec each of my video clips are. When I have a folder with many video clips in it, about 3/4 shows the item info (sec length of clip) but about 1/4 it does not.
It would help me a lot to see all. Would there be a way to fix that?

Before you do this insert your original dvd, then restart holding the c key until the grey apple logo screen appears. When it asks to select language do so. On the next screen select Disk utility from the tools/utilities menu. Select your HD and do a Repair Disk. If errors are indicated and repairs are shown as successful, rerun this until there are no errors indicated. Also do the Repair Permissions option while in this mode.
After all this restart and see whether all goes well.
This process will be a lot quicker than a reinstall if it solves the problems.

  • Show Item Info on only select items?

I have a few files, folders, and the Macintosh HD icons on my desktop. I want is to display the info for Macintosh HD only. Can this be done or is it all or nothing? I am using Snow Leopard currently. Please link me to post if already posted.

If you mean this Desktop view option, I doubt there's any way to restrict it to just the HD:
If you have only a few "permanent" folders on the Desktop you could I guess move the actual folders elsewhere, say to Documents, and keep aliases to those folders on the Desktop instead. Such aliases won't show any "item info."

  • Customizing item info?

I have some large external drives -- a 466GB and a 699GB -- and I have set my desktop prefs to show the item info next to the icon. For example, under the disk name for one of the disks, it says '465.64 GB, 231.91 GB free'.
I was just wondering if there is any way to customize this readout. For example, I'd rather round to the nearest GB e.g. '466 GB, 232 GB free', or even just should the number of GB that are free e.g. '232 GB free'.
Any way to do that? Any 3rd party apps that might do this?

The grid-spacing feature of Leopard partly resolves this problem.

  • Show Item Info gives wrong numbers

On my iMac 20" Core Duo with OS 10.4.6, the hard drive data shown in the Finder with the Show Item Info option selected is incorrect. For example, the internal drive shows 232.57 GB with 47 GB free. Activity Monitor or Get Info both show the correct amount of 162.38 GB free. Same thing happens with external drives. Graphics show the correct dimensions, though. On my iBook with OS 10.3, the item info is shown correctly.
Apple suggested reinstalling the system, but this seems like overkill for such a minor problem.
I was just wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

I have noticed this problem on my iBook and eMac for the free space available on my iDisk and Hard Disks, but here is an easy workaround.
Go to the force quit item in the apple menu. Select the finder and relaunch. When the finder refreshes, the information will be accurate.

  • IPhoto 11 "Show Extended Photo Info" item under "Photos"

In my iPhoto 11, under Photos in the menu bar, the first item is "Adjust Date and Time".
I do NOT see "Show Extended Photo Info".
How do I make this menu item appear?

You should post in -> Forum : Installing and using iPhoto '11.
How do I make this menu item appear?
    You don't.
Click the little white i at the lower right of the photo to see the photo info.

  • Show view options/Show item info - only half working

Used to be that all my photos in a folder showed the dimension under the name. Now, even tho I do:
Show view options/ and check Show item info, only some of them have the dimensions. And what's really funny is that the portrait oriented pix have the dimensions, but the landscape oriented are missing the dimensions. What's going on here?

must've recently done something to the Landscape ones...
actually, the workflow I mentioned was applied to only one folder of pix, both port. and lands., but now, even other folders are affected, ones that I didn't run the workflow on. If I go to iPhoto, export some pix from last year to a folder (saved to anywhere), same results, port. have the dim.s below, landscapes do not.
And now for something completely diff... So I have a folder of pix on my desktop I just imported from iPhoto. I see dim.s under the port.s, none under the land.s. I open a lands. with preview. I rotate ccl, then clockwise (back to original orientation, right?), save, close preview. There it is in the folder WITH the dim.s under it. What kinda ghost have I got here?
Just to mention, I bought a Touch. It launches iPhoto when I attach it to my MBP (so it can sync the saved photos, only when I have some on the Touch). Don't know if that has anything to do with anything. Tx 4 th response, BD.

  • Why is the "Show Item Info" feature not working on 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?

Under the Show View Options menu in Finder, I have repeatedly attempted to get the "Show Item Info" feature to work. Yet instead of the item info, it just adds some transparent spacing where the file info is supposed to be. The "Show Item Info feature is checked, so what's going on?

I was talking about the feature that displays how many files are in a folder and the dimensions of a picture.

  • Show Item Info doesn't work for folders in Spotlight privacy list?

Hi. I have many images in many folders, and since upgrading to Leopard, none of them show the image dimensions when the "Show Item Info" is checked. As far as I can tell, the only thing difference about this group of files and folders is that it has been added to the privacy list in Spotlight, although, that was also the case under Tiger.

Interesting, I just checked this, since I have my Tiger drive in the Leopard privacy pane, and most of what is there is also on my Leopard drive. You are quite correct: image dimensions for items on the excluded drive don't show up in any Finder view, nor in GetInfo, while the same image on the Leopard drive displays the info just fine. It looks like Finder is taking the exclusion very very literally and not displaying metadata information for items in the excluded list.

  • Show Item Info is not really showing info

    Well, here is the problem:
On my desktop I like the icons to show item info. So, I check that option in view options. It works out well enough, but it does not show the amount of free space in my HD. On my MacBook I got it to work with one account, but not with the others. On my MacBook Pro it will not at all. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Joanthan

There seems to be two ways to fix the issue of not having the free space info displayed:
    1. Turn off "Show item info" in the View Options
    2. Repair permissions with Disk Utility
    3. Restart
    4. Turn on "Show item info" in the View Options
which didn't fix the problem in my case and:
"force the finder to update how many items you have in a folder [or volume] is to add a new empty folder in the folder showing the wrong items number . Go back and you will see the right numbers of elements/folders in that window [or display option].
Than you can delete the empty folder and the number will be the correct one. It should work for the size too."
which did fix the problem in my case.
    Good luck.

  • "Show item info" display formatting

Is there a way to format the "show item info" text next to my desktop icons? Next to my primary hdd, for example, it reads "111.47 GB, 56.76 GB free" which is great... but way too much info.
Can I get it read "56 GB free" or at least round the numbers to something like "111 GB, 56 GB free"?
    Thanks!

  • Apple Watch order status says processing items. Shows delivery date of 4/24-5/8? Is this normal?

Apple Watch order status says processing items. Shows delivery date of 4/24-5/8? Is this normal?

I read that Sport Space Grey models (black band) are not among first to be shipped whereas Sport Aluminum White band is shipping. This could also be anecdotal. Time will tell. As said here, no one promised 4/24 delivery.
    Looking forward to it, though.

  • Scope of Finder "show item info"

This is to document some apparently inconsistent behavior of the current Finder "show item info"  view option: In Finder icon view, view->show view options->"show item info". The purpose is display additional information, including number of files in subfolders, pixel size of still photos, and running time of videos. It only applies to icon view, not list or column view, which is documented.
In "show item info" there is an additional button to "use as defaults". The scope of this option is apparently undocumented and inconsistent. You might expect it would apply from the current folder downward -- sometimes it does and sometimes not. On my 2013 iMac running 10.9.3, it seems to be more consistent on the system drive than an external HFS+. Namely on the internal drive applying it at the root level with "use as defaults" seems to propagate that option downward through the folder tree, but on the external drive (Thunderbolt Promise Pegasus R4 RAID 5) it is less consistent.
In general "show item info" is only fully reliable if invoked separately for each folder. If invoked at a higher folder level, subfolders may or may not display the additional information.
The behavior is not isolated to a single user but happens for any logged-in user on the same machine.
Show item info is probably disabled by default for performance reasons. Obtaining the additional info requires I/O. Once obtained it is apparently cached. There may be other optimizations such as don't enable on sub-folders with more than x files, but this is speculation. Regardless of the cause, the current behavior is inconsistent.
If you want to see the additional "show item info", be prepared to enable it individually for each folder.

Folder layout is stored in the hidden '.DS_Store' files within each folder.
I suspect a newly installed OS will have very few .DS_Store files with custom settings so the default can propagate to the child folders. Did you clean install any of these 10.9 systems (erase the disk before install)?
On your external I'd guess that you have been using it for years & have tweaked various views etc. Some folders will be custom, some may not.
To see how many you have you can either use an app like FindAnyFile http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/ to search, or use the find command in Terminal.
    find -x / -name .DS_Store
FAF will need admin permission to show inside protected directories.
find will require a sudo to do the same e.g.
    sudo find -x  / -name .DS_Store
The -x will prevent find crossing onto any other disks (Time Machine disks can take eons to search).
Don't forget to use the /Volumes/VOLUME-NAME for the external disks, wrap it in quotes if you have spaces in the disk name. Drag & drop will auto fill the path with the correct escapes if you drop the disk into Terminal.
You may be tempted to just delete these files but there is additional metadata stored in these files. If you remove them you may lose Spotlight comments & possibly other metadata.
See the sources for links to better explanations…
