VMware Create mulitple VM at the same time
VMware could create multiple VMs using one template at the same time.
Is it possible for VMM to manage VMware and provide this feature? (i.e. create VMs on VMware using 1 template at the same time) thanks.

Creating spatial indexes at the same time
Are there any locks on common DB objects when spatial index is created on one table?
We have application which creates a table with geometry column, fills this table and at the finish creates the spatial index. It seems, that this blocks other users to do this on other tables. The problem is also when the index on large table is created outside the application and this blocks the index creation for app users.

I believe you can create multiple spatial indexes concurrently. I'm not sure if there are special database parameters, but on my default Oracle9i release 2 install I can create multiple indexes at the same time.
Users cannot query the table using spatial operators until the index is built. Adding/deleting data may also be disabled while the index is building. Accessing data is allowed.
Can you describe the sequence of steps where the blocking occurs? -
For instance I can't look at multiple inboxes using the webmail app at one domain. Also, I have 2 etsy shops and can't log in to both at the same time on different tabs. Logging in as one on one tab, logs me out on the other. Is this a Firefox feature and if so, can I turn it off?
OK. This is not "site specific" it is Firefox specific. I have older versions of Firefox in which this does not happen. The moment I upgrade to a updated version, I have this problem. I have multiple accounts on a single site. When I open another tab, and try to open another account on that new tab, Firefox switches the initial tab to the new account. Previous versions left the original tab alone until I recycled that specific tab.
This particularly affects games, emails everything where you are working on one project with something, stop, someone opens a new tab and opens a new account on same site, and your work is wiped out on the initial tab.
My conclusion: since this multiple accounts-same site was possible on the old versions of Firefox, and it isn't possible on newer versions and it IS possible on Chrome (and I'm checking Safari, Opera and others) - it is a Firefox issue. Let's address it instead of pushing it off on various sites. -
New Camera RAW in Photoshop CC 2014 won't open multiple Panasonic RAW (.rw2) at the same time from Windows Explorer. If I select 2 raw files and click "Open" Camera RAW will only open 1 raw, then when I click "Done" it will close and open the second, sequentially. Previous Photoshop CC and RAW worked fine, it would open mulitple RAW at the same time. How do I fix this?
If it worked for you that way previously there isn't much to comment about. I just tried opening multiple images from Windows Explorer with Photoshop CS6 and Camera Raw 8.6, and the first image would open and when I clicked cancel then the second image would open. But if I wanted multiple images opened in Camera Raw to work on them simultaneously it was necessary for me to open them from Bridge. I just did it as an experiment because I normally use Lightroom. Anyway, IF it was a feature at one time to work as you described, it doesn't seem to be that way now.

Can I run two midi controllers (keyboard and pad) at the same time?

Yes.
set 2 instruments to different midi channels.set the keyboard and pad to match.
record enable both tracks in arrange.
check: file/song settings/recording/auto demix by channel if multi-track recording
this will allow you to record them both. -
I am in the middle of a job using CS 6, but at the same time opening the Creative Suite apps. I created an InDesign file in CS 6, saved it, and now I can't open it. I'm getting this message: Cannot open file because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CC (10.1). You must use that version or later to open the file." AARRGGHH! So how do I access the file?
Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

I am trying to create a button in flash that will allow the user to click on the button and 4 separate images show up at the same time. I can get the images to appear when I click the button but they will not stay on the screen. I need to know what code I use to make the images stay once the button is clicked, then I need to know exactly where I place that code. It does not appear to be possible to add the action code to the buttons layer since each time I add a new layer I just get another "up" "over" "down" and "hit" line.

APIt is not clear how you are trying to realize this from your description. If you are trying to create this within a button symbol it will not work. Explain your approach and if there is code involved, show what you have so far.

If your question is can we start more than one database at the same time then the answer to that is yes but provided to have enough resources on your server to support running of two or more different databases on the same machine.

Why? Your procedure generates a resultset of some number of rows. You check the resultset for the presence of rows to determine if "anything is there". You don't need a separate value to tell you this. Note that it helps

Running Leopard and Tiger at the same time VMWare fusion/Parallels?

I was wondering, is it possible to run Tiger and Leopard at the same time? Some older applications won't run properly in Leopard. The iMac came both with Tiger and Leopard (last November). It has been described elsewhere that one can install Tiger and Leopard on separate partitions and switch by rebooting. But it would be nice if one could run Tiger in Leopard like one can run Windows/Unix using VMWare Fusion or Parallels. Is that feasible?
best wishesI agree with you that virtualizing Mac OS X would be great. I'm an Apple technician and it would really help with my work. But Apple's EULA does not permit the use of OS X in a VM. They changed OS X Server's EULA recently to permit it, but not the "client version".
So your Mac can virtualize nearly any OS out there, but not OS X. And I believe (not sure) that a VM of OS X Server will only run on OS X Server. -
