VNC : windows do not update contains but get grey instead

Dear list,
I use vnc to connect to a 2x2,66 Hhz 6-core Intel Xeon, under 10.6.8.
I used to work correctly until last month updates.
Since then, when I use the scrollbar on windows or move a window on the screen, the contents becomes uniform-grey.
The only work around I found is to resize the window to recover to contents of a window.
Even worse with Finder windows: you have to hide and un-hide the window to see the full contents.
Thus it becomes almost impossible to work with VNC.
I use vnc from various computers from 10.5 to 10.6.8 not always fully uptdated with the same problem.

Well I managed to fix it, I'll post it here so it might help somebody in the future.
I read some posts about Bootcamp Assistant causing issues and it turns out to be correct, you just have to do everything manually and don't touch bootcamp assistant at all. I created a bootable USB using a program called Rufus (only available on Windows afaik), and downloaded the bootcamp drivers and put them on the USB myself (http://supportdownload.apple.com/download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Appl e_Software_Updates/Mac_OS_X/downloads/03…)
Then I went into Disk Utilities and created a 120GB partition for Windows, then deleted that partition. Essentially left me with a ~380GB partition for OS X, and ~120GB of empty space, not a partition or anything.
Then boot from the USB, select this "empty space" as the partition to install Windows during the windows setup, and everything should work fine.
