VO Not Recording CS5.5

I am trying to record a voice over in Premiere Pro 5.5 with and external mic fed through an audio mixer into the computer. I can see my levels from the mic registering in Premiere's audio mixer. I activate the "Enable Record" icon, press the red record button and then press the play icon. I see the playhead playing in my sequence as if the system is recording audio, however when I press stop nothing actually gets recorded. There is no audio clip in the sequence or in the bin. I have tried adding an in & out point in the timeline and this to gives me the same result.
Seems to me like the issue is with Premiere not actually recording a new media file. The audio record scratch disc is set to the same folder as my project. I have looked to see if an audio scratch folder is being added in the finder but there is nothing.
I have watched all the tutorials and read all the forum posts I can find but still can't get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Richard,
yes I just ried it again to make sure I am recording onto a mono track and I still get the same result. The problem is that premiere isn't actually recording anything, even though I see the playhead moving as if it is.

System is not recorded in the system list

Hi all,
I am using BI 7 system which is connected with a source system of SAP R/3 system and there is no problem in the connectivity between these sytems.
When I tried to save a user defined ztable in BI system it shows an error below and also the description the error message would be. Please go through the following the let me provide the solution.
error: System BI& is not recorded in the system list.
Explaination of the error follows:
System BI7 is not recorded in the system list
Message no: TR638
Diagnosis
The current transport route configuration does not have the system BI7 in this current system list.
The transport route configuration was probably not maintained after the system setup, or was changed incorrectly.
Procedure for system Administration
The system Administration need to change, activate and distribute the transport route configuration accordingly. All systtems in the transport domain must be in the configuration.
Help this to solve.

Check in STMS whether your transport route is configured correctly or not. As per error message there is problem in your transport route.

Image looks grainy in Photoshop CC but not in CS5

All of my images look grainy int he dark areas in CC, but not in CS5. Is there a display setting that I'm missing? Side note, the saved images look fine. They only look bad in the CC UI.

So is it a display problem rather than a performance one? I think it was mentioned that the artefacts a not there on saved documents. It is also one of those issues that would be fixed by resetting preferences, because the cache levels would go back to four. It actually says right there on Preferences > Performance in the History & Cache section 'Set cache levels to two or higher for optimum performance' .

Captivate 5.5 Question: We seem to be having an issue with the screen capture piece not recording "everything".
We're running 5.5 as an administrator on Windows 7 and my co-worker is trying to capture a webinar (GoToMeeting) with Captivate and it is not recording anything in the GTM window, except the last slide. Anyone have this problem or know a fix? Not much is mentioned in the Adobe forums.

Captivate simply doesn't 'hear' some screen events on certain applications and you just need to resort to doing manual captures at these points.
I usually set up my manual capture button to be F2 so that I can hit it with my left hand while my right hand is on the mouse navigating through the task.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help have your phone examined by an apple technician. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

Static between Apogee One and Logic 9...When track is armed but not recordi

The static only happens when i sing into the mic or strum the guitar. It begins to happen when i have input monitoring enabled or the track armed (R). It slowly creeps up after a few minutes of NOT recording and just having the track armed. I can make multiple passes at recording and it will eventually go away or...i have to quit logic and apogee and restart but if i leave the track armed and not record continuously its back! Its like a terrible crackle and its as loud as the instrument im trying to record.

You can contact them through your HP Support Assistant or on line. They will help you with trouble shoot the web-cam software. Goto your computers model and make support web-site. They will also help you with your other issues as well.
I am using the older version software so I won't be much help. Please repost if HP direct support is un able to help you resolve your issues. While you are chatting with them have them check out your computer do it before your 1 year warranty expires. Have fun with your new computer.

DVD not recordable

DVD model GSA-T50N I tried many new blank DVD's. I uninstalled the drive, rebooted and let Windows 7 redetect the drive and install drivers. Device manager shows device is working properly. DVD movies will play but when I try to burn a blank DVD I get a message that says "DVD is not recordable". What should I try next?

Programmes not recording

I have already checked and no FAQ answers are applicable. The program showed as set to record on EPG, but was not available (ie not showing at all) to start watching from the recorded list after the program had started. When selecting the program to watch from EPG, it suddenly started to record (part way through). This is not the first time that for no reason a program has not recorded. It was on series record, good signal, no power interruptions, no turning of machine etc. the box was supplied new by BT within last six months and is up to date with latest software. The box is set to over write old programmes when the drive is full.
Are these boxes just unreliable or is their a fix for this problem?
Incase it is relevant, it happened with 2 programmes at the same time (1) Silent Witness, BBC1 21.00 tonight (12/01/15) and (2) Broadchurch on ITV at the same time. Heathfield transmitter.

VS2010 not recording file upload process for web test

I'm trying to record the process of uploading a file to the system.
The problem is when a new browser opens for uploading a document, the visual studio is not recording the URL (....Attachement/Upload.aspx) and related Form Post Parameters.
Is there any settings to able to record when a new browser pops up?
I'm using VS2010 ultimate and the system is on MS Dynamics CRM platform.

UFT (QTP 11.5) does not record Chrome

I have recently installed UFT (QTP11.5) and successfully recorded scripts against a web app running in IE8. However, I have issues with Firefox and Chrome:
Firefox v16:
Will record in what appears to be the Terminal mode ie will record mouse clicks on objects via coordinates and when entering text in a field it will simply record this as keyboard input.
Chrome v22:
Will not record anything at all. No objects or low level Terminal mode script is recorded.
Has anyone else seen this? Note: I have installed the GUI Testing Web Add-In and checked it was active on launching UFT.

When I am trying to create a new test or trying opening an existing test it shows an exception with below message.
"An unexpected error occurred.
Click ‘OK’ to close this message. You may be able to continue working,
but note that this workflow may cause the error to occur again.
Click ‘Details’ to display technical details on this error which may help
you solve the problem, or can be used when contacting customer support."
Due to this exception I can't create or execute any test in QTP 11.5 (UFT).
Does anyone know how will I be able to resolve this issue?
