I have Ipod nano 16 Gb that i just bought.. how can i convert the movies in my computer that are in VOB and WMV format so that i can play them in itunes or my Ipod.. I have windows vista. i bought the ipod just for this videos

thank yu sir.. a tough taks for a novice well after several hours i have installed all as per the direction..the MPEG converter etc but this morning asks me to go to apple site to buy it..well i installed the new version after the 1.8 version and followed all to the teeth.. it copied/converted a movie only once last night .. this morning when i do the same it is asking for the purchase of the add on.. i installed the quick time alternative what doi do.. i go buy the what they ask or how do i do any help??

Instead of document, perhaps I should have described it as a form or even staionery. I am creating this 'form' for a company and they want their branding to appear on the 'form'. I can create it as an HTML email but this would mean I have to create one every time they want to send one out. What they really want is a staionery form template that allows them to add text or even drag and drop pictures into it, but the whole document retains their branded formatting. Once they are happy with the content they have added they can choose whether to print it or email it. I thought that there may be an Apple software solution to the problem.

According to the technical specifications for your iPhone 5, MP4 is a supported file format ( iPhone 5 - Technical Specifications ) so you can also try syncing the video over the same way you would sync music:

Getting download error on purchased video from iTunes, help!

I have plenty of memory on my ipad to download purchased videos from iTunes, but I get an error message no matter how many times I hit retry. Any suggestions? Thanks

On my ipad2 error says "unabble to download "the movie name" at this time. Gives me option. retry or Done.
Movie title page (with movie poster, plot summary, etc) shows with cloud icon for download, but when cloud is touched,it tries to download foe a few secs then gives error. As well, in Downloads area, movie shows as paused, but gives error when attepmting to download. ...no option to delete is available as well. Many thanks in advance.

Videos crashing iTunes HELP!!!

I upgraded to latest iTunes and Quicktime, but when I try to preview a video iTunes crashes and closes. I bought 2 videos and they will not play in iTunes or QT. They crash either one. What is going on?

I've had the same problem and I figured it out (at least in my case). The most helpful thing I did was review the crash log right after the crash. Go to http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2004/tn2123.html to help with interpreting crash logs. In my case, I had installed the OSS 3D plug-in a while ago and this was responsible for the crash. Deleting the plug-in and it's preferences did the trick for me.
To summarize the Apple Tech Note for interpreting the crash log, the three most important areas are:
1) the line entitled "Thread:" that is about 8 lines or so down from the first row of "********". This will tell you which thread crashed.
2) the line entitled "0" in the thread that crashed. In my case, thread 0 crashed. I followed down the crash log to thread 0 and looked at line 0 which gave me an inkling of what crashed (in my case, it said com.subband.oss3d).
3) the section entitled "Binary Images Description". Read through this for any references to whatever appears in line 0 of the crashed thread to find the directory(ies) from which the culprit must be removed. I also used Spotlight to find anything else related to the offender.

I somehow shared a video I created through Final Cut Pro, shared it via iTunes and was able to load it on my iPods and iTouches....now it's not letting me do it. I've looked over and over in forums and I get the same thing....iMovie>share>iTunes...except when I do this I keep getting "file name" was not copied because it cannot be played on this iPod.......I'm using iMovie 10.0.3 and iTunes 11.2.2

Exporting Clip to WMV Format?

Hello,
I'm wondering how I can 'pursuade' my PE7 installation to export a movie clip in WMV format?
Import/Export of WMV files are possbile, if I believe the help manual. But as I try to do a file>exprot action, the dialog comes up with a predefined xxx.avi extension. I don't see any possibility to select the wmv format.
Can anybody help me out there?

thank's for the quick reply.
Since I work with a German language system, I suppose you refer to the tab "verteilen" on my system which offers me 3 options:
Adobe flash video, Mpeg or DV AVI.
From there, only the option mpeg then offers further presets other than PAL or NTSC.
Since I'm basically a newbie in regards to video formats I get lost there - which one of the presets is a wmv format?
Unfortunately 'wmv' it not mentioned there in plain text .
PAL and NTSC format I would exclude, but what stands behind
H264 xx, HD720 xx, Mpeg2 1400 xx, Mpeg2 1920 xx, Mpeg1 Multimedia and Mpeg2 Multimedia?
Is any of these formats a wmv format?

No Audio using WMV Format using Live Ultra Mod. VF0060

Recently purchased a Creative WebCam Li've Ultra Model VF0060 and I am having problems capturing WMV formatted video and audio at the same time. Video works fine however, when I try to include audio all I get is and error message suggesting that I don't have enough disk space ( I have PLENTY) and to check the audio and video compressor settings. There are no audio compressor setting in?the WMV mode?and the video is limited to small or large file. I can capture AVI formatted video with audio?just fine but it uses to much memory to use as Email attachments. Does anybody have any suggestions?

The web center do not work any more with windows media . I try every thing also customer service. Only responce is to go back to a older version of windows media players. Still working with .aviCreative was a real strong compagny, with good support, but now it is a falling. No more support, no more update. ok i relize that a million questions have been asked about formating videos but i will make it million and one.
i have some vides that i made with windows movie maker and i also have some from lime wire. i read in another question to download video ipod converter, and i did i am just lil confuzed, i know my way around these programs so can some just tell me in lamins term like you are talking to an forgner tell me what steps i need to convert it and be able to have sound with movie. i have the 30g ipod english, lime wire, itunes, ipod converter, i just need the help

Highlight the video in iTunes and choose Advanced -> Create iPod or iPhone version and wait for it to finish converting. Then try and sync the newly converted version over to your iPod Classic.
