Voice Control voice very low

Is there any way to increase the voice control voice level. It is very low relative to other sounds on the phone (music etc). The voice level stays the same even if I increase the iphone volume.

Yea, I have a friend who has noticed this issue on his Z10.
I've tested on my Z30, and the voice feedback is loud and clear. We'll have to figure out the differenced in the devices or OS release, or settings.
What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options >  From the main screen, swipe down from the top black bezel to Settings > About... what is the OS Version listed there?

  • Xperia Zr earSpeaker voice is very low.

Hello, Suddenly my ear speaker voice is very low. 1. My phone is never in contact with water till date.2. I have updated to lollopop with PCC. My phone is in warrenty. Any suggestions guys? Is this hardware issue?

    Hi,
One thing can help is the following.  Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'.  Left click the default device once to highlight it ( it's usually 'speakers & headphones' ) then click the Properties button.  Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'.  Click Apply to save the change and then click OK in all remaining windows and see if this has helped at all.

  • My retina macbook pro's audio has a very low voice.

I just have my retina macbook pro yesterday. I played a movie with Mplayer and some video on Youtube, but the output audio was very low. I compared with my macbook air(2011), with the same video and movie, use the same audio level, it is obviously the retina's sound is smaller than air. Is my audio system in retina have some problem? or it is normal?

So not sure how the 2014 MBP's trackpad works but on the ones I've seen the trackpad has to be exactly centered in the trackpad opening. When you service them you place shims around the outer edged before you tighten them in place. Meaning the springs that hold it in place.
If it wasn't centered correctly I could see how it would creak.

This is for the 13" late 2013. It's glued in place here so I could see how it would creak if it wasn't properly installer.

  • Callers cannot hear me.  voice sounds low and distant

I have an LG Revere and callers say they cannot hear me and my voice sounds very low and distant.  What is the problem?

Thanks for answering.  The phone is less then a year old and I don't keep it in a case. The problem started suddenly on Thursday, 12/4.  I think I'm going to take it to the Verizon store in my area and hope they will be able to resolve the issue or replace the phone.  I'm 'old school' and a flip phone is all I need.  Not interested in a smart phone or expensive data package.
Thanks and have a great day!

  • Problem: Voice is lower and tempo slower than recorded

I create a new project and slow the tempo to 95. Then I record a keyboard track. Good so far.
Then I create a new "real instrument" track. Sing along using the built in microphone. Select the track and deselect the Follow Tempo & Pitch checkbox (checking or unchecking this box has no effect on problem).
My problem is that my voice is lower and my pitch slower than I actually sang. Does any know what I am doing wrong or how to fix?
    Thanks in advance-

Seriously, this problem of the recording being slower and lower than the actual pitch is a major concern. This has been happening both with the internal microphone and with a usb audio interface. From my experience with other programs, I think it has to do with the sampling rate, something like 44100Hz vs 48000Hz etc., but I have no idea how to change that in Garageband; and particularly no idea how to change it (to salvage a decent take) after I have recorded. This problem has been very frustrating and has turned an otherwise user-friendly program into a nightmare.

  • When instant streaming Netflix on my Macbook Pro, the sound is very very low even when sound controls are set at highest level.

When instant streaming Netflix on my Macbook Pro, the sound is very very low even when sound controls are set at highest level.  I do not have this problem when listening to TV or watching movies streamed from DishNetwork.  I contacted Netflix and they had me install a newer version of their software Silverlight... this did nothing to resolve the issue.  They were not familiar with the issue.

Well if your on 10.6.2, you need to software update to 10.6.8
Perhaps you need to adjust the Silverlight (Microsoft DRM video plug-in) sound level itself too
Run a check here to see if your current on your Silverlight (works for all browsers)
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
Use another browser like Firefox and see if it continues.
Try another video file. They all have their own sound levels too.

  • Volume on iphone is very low, this is a common problem, Apple Needs to FIX!

I have a new iphone 3GS that I got at the end of July, 2009. Since then i've been having problems with the volume! I called support because i had this problem along with my screen turning blank and freezing up. Support said to take the case off and this might help. well it did help the screen issue (which is kind of dumb when you think about it because the case is supposed to protect the phone and instead it caused it to malfunction!!,wierd), but the volume issue never really changed. I am hearing impaired and I do wear hearing aids, BUT....I have ALWAYS been able to use cell phones that have good loud volume, as i need to remove my aids to use the phone. My LG phone had BEAUTIFUL volume, never had a problem!
So, then I started to do some research and saw this is a very common problem! everyone I know that has an iphone has this problem, and all these people are normal hearing people! So then i decided to just get some really good, superduper headphones, because the headphones that came with the phone were ok, but i had to hold them in my ears.
The other day i bought the new Bose in-ear headphones with superior sound quality and at $130 bucks, they better be and the are compatable with the iphone. But.....again, while actually talking to someone on the phone the sound, even with the headphones and all volumes max'd, was still very low!! and i know its not the headphones because listening to the ipod is fantastic! it must be the phone!!!
I even used the "accessibility" setting that is on the phone and selected the mono audio feature which pushes both L&R sounds through one channel, and still doesnt help!
I even called support back today and one guy said i had to "restore" my phone by plugging it into my computer (not really sure what he means) but we got disconnected and the other guy said that i should bring my phone into the apple store. Both tech guys denied that there are lots of calls or complaints about this....but as you all know from reading the many posts, that this is a very common problem!!!
I think Apple should do the right thing and recall these phones or at least fix them or SOMETHING!!!! this volume issue is internally, because when i make a call and an automated voice comes on, it works fine (majority of the time) but as soon as a live voice comes on the phone, the volume drops! there must be some type of automatic voice adjuster that is just not working properly. I mean i love my phone!!! But....i cant use it!!! And now, im going to have to return my Bose headphones and try to find something else.
    Can anyone really help me?????

I agree with you about the volume on the phone itself. (I have 3Gs). It needs to be louder. I also wear hearing aids. However I do think there may be something wrong with your phone because when I connect my earbuds (Klipsh) I get very good volume through them. In fact at full volume it's way too loud. I would push for a replacement phone.
FWIW, my daughter (who also wears hearing aids) has trouble hearing her iphone. It appears to have more to do with the speaker not being lined up with the hearing aid's input. Her audiologist pointed out that some current hearing aids support bluetooth, I think we will get those next time we replace her hearing aids.

  • Fast Track: guitar input level very low

I have a new M-Audio Fast track USB. I have set macbook pro audio input and output
to Fast track, and also set GB Preferences Audio/MIDI input and output to Fast track. Voice recording with XLR mic input is fine, but when I plug my Fender Tele
into the 1/4" jack with its volume on max, and GB recording level on max, the result is very low level... the GB waveform is almost imperceptible. Suggestions anyone?

09 wouldn't be any different it's the fast track. Many people have mentioned the low record levels with the fast track usb. Most of the time it is with mic not instrument. You could probably add some AU plugin to boost the recorded signal or turn the virtual amps. Or put a eq, compressor or some pedal that can add gain between the guitar and fast track.

  • Microphone/ very LOW level / bad records

    hi
i want to record simple voices into my G5-Dual 1.8GHz - but in every application (iMovie, FinalCut, Garageband, Quicktime) there is a very LOW audio-recording-level and i can't get a clear signal. the level controller at the audio interface is set to MAX-Input.
I'm using the TASCAM US122 audio-interface and different microphones (Bus Powered).
testdrive with other mics and a brandnew interface (TAPCO/Mackie Link.USB)
result the same bad recordings at lowest level.
    1. Audio/MIDI configuration is set to the audio interface/s.
    2. System-Audio Preferences are set to the audio-interface/s
    3. Deleting the Audio/MIDI-preference-files within the Pref-Folder will take NO CHANGES.
    4. Application-Preferences are set to the audio-interface/s
    Thanks for any ideas.
    regards mike

i've checked the different mics with phantom power turned ON (with new battery) To testdrive the mics i've connected and checked them all with my acoustic-amp. They are ALL working well there.
next i've tried a brand new USB-Audio-Interface (with Mackie Preamps)
connect it with my G5 and... got the same bad records like the cheaper TASCAM.
Once more i think the G5 has an error - maybe the USB-ports?
    (I've tried every USB-port).
    Should i buy and try a FIREWIRE-interface?

  • IPod app sound level in multitasking is very low, is there a solution

I have a Pioneer stereo in my car with iPod connect cable. When I plug in my iPad and play songs from it with the iPod app it works as it should and I can hear the songs in the car speakers.
BUT, when I turn on my GPS App, CoPilot, the iPod app goes in the background and continue palying songs but in with a very low volume, van barely hear it. The CoPilot directions voice is loud and clear.
Is there a way to keep the sound level in the iPod app even if it is in the background?
    Thanks

    Hi.
Firstly, try going into ipod and turning up that volume, without using the hardware buttons.
If that just also increases the sound of the CoPilot directions, try changing the settings of the CoPilot app.
You could try contacting the developer of the app via the following links:
    [CoPilot Live HD Website|http://www.alk.eu.com/copilot/ipad>
    [CoPilot Support|http://www.alk.eu.com/support/copilot-support>
Hope this helps. Remember to mark this as helpful or solved if that is the case.

  • WIFI Calling - outgoing volume is very low

Hello, I was recently given a Samsung S5 from my work for business use.I work reguarly from home, and the coverage is poor from inside my house! I recently looked on the EE website and found that i could upgrade the software on my phone to enable WIFI calling.I managed to do this which was very straightforward. The problem is now that although i can receive and make calls very easily through WIFI, the outgoing call volume is very low and people are struggling to hear me properly. To check it was WIFI causing this, i disabled WIFI and made the call again in an area of my house where i can get some reception. The volume was fine. So the issue is clearly with WIFI calling. I am not aware of a way to adjust my outgoing voice volume but i hope you can help. This causes me alot of issues and unecessary stress. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Alan Craddock

I think I may have stumbled onto a fix. When looking at the call settings to type my post, above, I noticed there was a check box to enable/disable 'Noise reduction' (cuts out background noise, apparently). This was on. I switched it off, and the volume on WiFi calling is now OK. To find this setting in Android, go the the call screen, choose 'Settings', then 'Call'...uncheck the box labelled 'Noise reduction'. Hopefully there's some equivalent setting for those of you unfortunate enough to be using an Apple device ;-) Crash
